    Normally Montana’s kicks it out of the park, however last night was disappointing, the meal wasn’t great and the server didn’t even ask how the meal was, might try again one day, but not too soon

    We ordered our food at the same time as our appetizers and it was over 45 minutes before the food came out, and when it did the fish was very dark and overdone. They did remake it and it came out better but still pretty dark. The manager did apologize and took it off the bill. I just find it frustrating that the whole while we were waiting for our food I could see order after order going out the back door for food delivery drivers.

    My wife and I were there 630pm night of the 28 Oct 23 Steaks were cook wrong Food was cold They too my wife’s diner plate to try and correct the meal When her meal was brought back out all her side dishes were removed We were so disappointed, we asked for the bill so we can leave When the bill finally arrived, we were getting charged 2 different prices for the same meal. We got it corrected but that took another 15 mins I ended up having to take my wife somewhere else to eat at 830 at night. We will never go back to Montana’s again And the cooks and staff should be required to take a food safe course

    Experience was ok… it was cold in the restaurant and my girls and I kept our winter jackets on during dinner. The food was pretty expensive and nothing I couldn’t make at home.

    The green beans were tough and had to be sent back. They were substituted with coleslaw. Other than that, the rest of the food was delicious and the service was good.

    Our waitress was extremely rude and seemed like we were more of an inconvenience to her day when we were there as a family celebrating my mothers birthday who just passed away a month ago. As well she mixed up our 2 steak orders but yet lied and denied that the steaks were incorrect.

    We dined at Montana's and enjoyed the delicious food. We were a little disappointed that there seemed to be a lack of urgency from the staff. We arrived at our table and ordered drinks and food but when it all arrived no cutlery to be seen on our table and it took awhile to get any so we waved down anyone that was available. Our food was getting cold. We finally ate and the food was delicious. We didn't get asked for drink refills so we had to wave someone down and waited a hit to get more to drink. Food great service slow.

    We went for a birthday told staff about the birthday and the waitress forgot. We had a disappointed 8 year old especially after seeing someone else getting sung to .

    Good food but it took a little longer. Service was good too until we got our food then when my husband ran out of water, it never got filled. I think it was bad timing for large tables in the section

    Reserved for family birthday, 4 adults, 2 children, Hope was our server, she was very nice but when she asked how our meal was I replied “ok”, she said great & left. Steaks were substandard, no seasoning whatsoever. My daughter & I asked for medium but was med rare & very chewy. The loaded baked potato was disappointing, Very little butter & cheese. Charging extra for a tsp of sour cream is ridiculous. First time I ordered steak, as a BBQ restaurant expected better food. Hope should have taken the que & ask why the food was just ok & ask why. Total bill was $175 incl tip, next time I’ll pay the extra & go to the Keg. Was also expecting the happy birthday song or at least an acknowledgment of the birthday celebration as I indicated it was a birthday on the Open Table App.

    We love going to Montana's. You are welcome as soon as you walk in. Food is always good. We had the Buttermilk Chicken and the Chicken Fajitas. Both very filling. Montana's is always full and lots of talking and laughing which makes it even more fun to go to.

    we've celebrated 2 birthday dinners in the past 2 months here at Montanas and were so pleased with both experiences! we were over 20 guests each night and thrilled to have our food out timely and delicious:) our servers were amazing and so friendly!!! thank you Montanas St. Albert!

    We were out for a birthday dinner. Food and drink arrived in a timely fashion. My dinner was fairly simple and straight forward (steak, fries, onion rings, coleslaw, mushroom skillet). I asked for garlic butter and a medium done steak (pink in the middle). My plate came in a soggy mess from the butter I thought would have been served on the side in a ramekin. It was melted into my fries and onion rings rendering them soggy and unappetizing. The food was cold and my steak was well done. I got my glass of wine in a schooner glass (not a huge deal but I was looking forward to a long stem chilled wine). Another plate of food with chicken and ribs came out with the meat and sauce piled on the fries (also soggy mess and were not eaten). No one seemed bothered by my observations or less than appetizing meal. Staff seemed attentive enough and served well to a busy crowded loud restaurant. I did feel a bit rushed. Hadn’t even finished my wine before the bill arrived at our table (we weren’t done dining).

    Went for a large family dinner for my wife's birthday, when you bring a large group to any restaurant it can be a challenging experience with kids and adults mixed. I have to say it was a great experience, I believe most due to our server Maddy and the staff at Montana's. First thing when we arrived the hostess was friendly and personable and showed us right to our seat. When we got to our seat our server Maddy came right over and started us off with drinking while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. Drinks came out quickly and Maddy told us about the menu. Once everyone arrived and everyone had received drinks Maddy worked with the kids at the table to take their order and then finished with the adults. Everything came out exactly as ordered and in a very timely fashion considering how busy it was. After dinner Maddy cleared the table before dessert came and did a nice job embarrassing my wife. Overall great experience elevated by the wonderful service.

    The ribs had been over cooked and burned. Kids meals were fine. Very busy and noisy with slow service. When server suggested an add on to a meal, she did not inform us of the extra charge.

    Waited 25 minutes after being seated and had to wave down a server to even take our drink order. Then after taking our food order 30 minutes later they told us they didn’t have one of the steak options we ordered. They couldn’t find a solution on there own like give us two of a smaller size steak. They were all very nice but the lack of service was terrible especially when there seemed to be 10 servers wandering around not doing much.

    Montana's was completely full when we walked in. Good thing had made a reservation. So lively and people laughing and talking so much. Food is always good here and ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken and the Chicken Burrito Bowl. Good portions and will definitely order again.

    Server was great. Food was great. Baked potato’s need to cook more it was only cooked half way but the server fixed that. The only thing I would change is not to sit by the door it was cold and the food got cold from the door opening and closing all the time

    Got the all you can eat ribs. The first set was cold, the second set was good, and the third set was burnt. Both mine and my husbands “loaded” baked potato’s came with all of 5 bacon bits and the smallest amount of cheese. My kids pizza and fries came piled on top of each other and kind of melded together making my kid not want to eat it

    Very busy. Had to wait quite long for drinks, had to remind them of drink orders. Had no plates, napkins or silverware for appetizers. Main meal was brought & still no silverware or napkins. Had to ask 3 different servers for silverware.

    We always feel at home at Montanas. The staff are very attentive and friendly without overly fussing. The atmosphere is very dynamic as there are always lots of diners and talking and laughing. My husband absolutely loves the Buttermilk Fried Chicken. I tried the Chicken Tacos which was very impressive. With 2 Chicken Tacos and a very ample salad makes a very filling meal. I did however have to take one of the Tacos home. Would definitely order again. Great place for any occasion.
