   Server was great been to Montanas a few times first at this location mostly at Ottawa kitchener location very cold dark could hardly read menu Took along time together food steaks and chicken and fajitas were good mashed potatoes were cold and cornbread rock hard will probably only go back to kitchener location not Waterloo anymore will not recommend this location

   Been here twice and both times the wait for food is long. When you’re done your appetizers your entrees should be coming out right after. And if I’m waiting for my food the food should be hot. It wasn’t. Fries luke warm and the faijta didn’t even sizzle. Do better please.

   We had a great experience! Service was outstanding, prices for alcoholic drinks, mains and kids meals were very reasonable in a world where prices seem to be climbing and the ambiance was enjoyable!

   Our server was amazing , very kind and knowledgeable. I ordered the large rib dinner and I was very disappointed. I’m not one to Complain but my ribs were chewy and cold . I mean cold ! I was going to say something to our sever by she was such a nice girl I let it go . My husband ordered the steak he said was ok not the best, also said his was cold . I will not return to this restaurant or will I recommend. We spent 125.00 def rather spend it else were .

   Food was good. Server did not pay close enouh attention eg. No cutlery, no serviettes. Server did not take empty plates etc away for quite a while even though she visited table and saw them. The server appeared to be a non-seasoned individual but was friendly enough.

   Excellent food and service! We went a bit early to avoid the evening rush and everything was perfect. I had the Brisket Burger and my spouse had the Fish and Chips. Maybe I don't get out much but that was the best burger I have had in a long time. My spouse also enjoyed her fish and chips. The hostesses were great and our server Avery was wonderful. We have not been at Montana's for a while and I can see us visiting this location regularly!

    The one thing I am use to is everywhere I go the plates are always hot . I was very surprised they weren’t . Hot plates make a big different .

    Our server was excellent, but let's face it, your lunch choices when YOU HAVE NO LETTUCE reduces lunch to soup, half a sandwich and . . . coleslaw. Now, not your fault (supply chain), BUT if you really want to elevate Montana's, you need to "get with" the local program in Waterloo Region. With cold frame farming growing, you should be sourcing locally grown lettuce for your salads. The taste alone will floor your patrons.

    I eat at this restaurant a lot. The location and restaurant are clean. The food is usually good. The servers are friendly. However my last experience wasn’t great. My steak was over cooked. I didn’t complain, but I mentioned it to the server. I don’t waste food, so I ate it - all of it. But it wasn’t optimal. The server offered to discount me. The manager walked over with a bad attitude. Rather than ask about the meal, the first sentence out of his mouth was “you know, I find customers don’t know what medium rare is”, then proceeds to tell me that the meat continued to cook while on the plate. I asked him to stop, as he was lecturing me about meat during my child’s birthday party without identifying himself or being polite. Medium rare steaks have a warm, red/pink Center with juices. My steak was clearly brown throughout and dry. They did discount my meal, which I appreciate, however I wish the manager was politer with better customer service skills and attitude.

    Not a great experience! The table was very wobbly. Server was clearly stressed and abrupt. The food was not great…didn’t eat half of it. And took forever to get the bill, my husband had to go in to pay Overall would not recommend.

    We stopped here on way home from Grand Bend. Each of us had something on the menu we hadn't had before. Focusing on my meal, all was good except I would have liked the ribs better if the meat was closer to fall off the bone. They were a little tough. Everything else was good. Service was quick and attentive.

    2 dinner orders from a highly reduced menu. One was a brisket burger. Not sure where they got the idea that this was brisket but no, no, no! More like sliced meat. Second was a steak, it was cooked properly, medium, but was tough. Service was only fair considering they weren't busy at all. Last couple of visits have been sub par, where as we use to looked forward to going. Sorry but no longer impressed. Too many other choices to want to waste my money here.

    Great friendly service and good food. I made the mistake of sitting on the patio - which would have been nice except for the strong wind (obviously not in their control). I will certainly return and certainly recommend this location.

    All the food was good except for the wings appetizer. I'm not sure how this happened but the outside of the Wings seemed warm but several of them were actually cool on the inside. Weird and unappetizing I'm not sure I'll be ordering wings from Montana's again I'm too unsure about them now.

    This time was okay. My daughter chose it for her and her brothers birthday dinner (which they did nothing for even though it was mentioned at booking), beer tasted watered down and some other issues which they fixed, so not mentioning those. Overall it was still a good dinner and night out. Our server was good with anticipating refills and was quick.

    Quiet afternoon on a holiday Monday. Our server, Portia, was great and very attentive. The 3 of us enjoyed our dinner immensely. Montana's is a regular jaunt for us and a great place to take the family to when they're in town.

    Three of us dined there. While the food was good, all our meals were room temperature when we got them. This was unusual as we have dined there before and cold meals weren't an issue. Based on that, it would appear to be a rare off day for them.

    Restaurant wasn't even half full yet service was ridiculously slow. 45 minutes from ordering to food appearing which only showed up after we asked if there was a problem. One meal was fine, the other on the cool side.

    I had a great time with my friend. The ambience was lovely! The service was great. The appetizer we ordered was delicious. I ordered the chipotle firecracker burger. I believe the chef/cook missed adding any kind of sauce to it. I had to ask for it separately. By the time I got it, I didn’t want to eat it anymore. My friend had the buttermilk fried chicken and it was juicy and tender! She loved her food.

    We were a group of 6 ranging in age from 3-59 and we all enjoyed our evening out. We have no complaints and would recommend Montana's to anyone searching for a very relaxed dining experience.
