The service was terrible. We were sat at our table and it took someone 15 minutes to come to our table - this was after we went to the front to let them know and it still took them about five minutes to send someone - there was no customer service or sense of urgency for the guests. When someone finally did come to take the order for our food it took them about fifteen more minutes to get our drinks to our table and they consequently came at the same time as our meals. As someone who has previously worked in the restaurant industry - this experience was terrible on all accounts. Service can completely change an experience and in this case it changed it negatively. This is the second experience of poor service at this restaurant and we will not be back.

Food was not cooked as requested and fries were cold. I asked for fresh fries but got a bowl of oily re-fried fries. I simply put my meal aside and continued to enjoy the evening and I was pleasantly surprised to see they had not charged me for my meal. I would go back again but keep it to appetizers.

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience. Service was deplorable. Took 3 requests to get a water - got it ourselves from the bar. Very rare steak was ordered and came super WELL done, replacement steak was medium well, still not rare and had a huge line of grissle running the entire length. 2 sides were completely forgotten and all food was served cold. NO one came to see how we were doing, to refill beverages until we were finished and had asked for a manager twice. No one cleared the table so after 20 minutes of waiting, we did it ourselves. No specials were offered, no dessert or coffee offered. No one seemed happy. We were there for a very special reason and it was completely ruined. Horrible experience.

It took almost 15 minutes for us to even be asked if we wanted a beverage. Then it took over an hour for us to be served our dinner. We were given an excuse that there was a large party but for the most part, the restaurant was empty. The server was quick and short and was not interested in our patronage.

Went for my Mom’s birthday. Table was not ready. No one greeted my Mom when she arrived. Meal was finished for quite some time and no one came back to see if we needed a drink or dessert or to clear table. I had to go find the waitress. I mentioned on the reservation and to waitress (twice) that it was my Moms bday. No free dessert and she handed a paper crown for us to sing on our own. Restaurant was empty so it wasn’t due to being busy or short staffed.

I have an allergy to garlic. I was very disappointed that my only option in the restaurant was a salad without the chicken. The salad was very tasty. My partner had the the pulled pork sandwich. He found it very tasty. Our server worked very hard to find something I could eat. Music was very loud when we first arrived but was turned down shortly after we arrived.

We went there to celebrate my son’s birthday as a family. Ate the all you can eat ribs on Wednesday. Were quite dry and the sauces were okay. Nothing great.

It wasn't bad except it was very cold in the restaurant. And I would recommend you could maybe print a small lust if gluten free options- which is lacking compared to most eating establishments!

Dined at Whitby Montana’s for a redemption shot at making what was once a bad experience a better one. Let me just save ANYONE time, just don’t go PERIOD. Waited over 10 mins to be seated. Bar area was empty, standard dining had a few tables that needed cleaning. SEVERAL people just walked on by us as we sat there. Thankfully a server in the bar area heard us complaining and attempted to make things right by clearing a table ASAP to have us seated. The server seemed ok- took our drink orders which were incorrect but we let it slide, brought dinner forgot the onion rings again let it slide, and then brought the bill. I was over charged for a drink, the waiter didn’t seem to retain a heck ton of information…. I don’t k ow if they’re trained to not write anything down but like ya’ll really need pen and paper. Like I said this was our redemption round and spending $150+ and get subpar service, incorrect meal + drink is just not acceptable. I don’t know what it is about Montana’s it’s almost as if you strive to make sure you just upset everyone of your guests. My goodness I promise I am not difficult, but being over charged, incorrect food and drink is just unacceptable. At this rate I’m better off going to a buffet so I can just ensure getting what I wanted. I’m really disappointed with you. This use to be terrific food, and service. But it’s gone down. The Beef rib was extremely over done, my medium steak was not even cooked it was juicing blood but I didn’t say anything because clearly no one within the restaurant cared enough so it was a waste of breath. I really hope you guys start to do better because this is just pathetic service time and time again. 0/5 stars.

The food took forever to come and when it did come it was cold. The food tasted good but would have been better hotter. The service was horrible, I asked the waitress for ketchup and had to wait for her to take the order at another table then she proceeded to clear off another table and then took another 10 minutes to bring my ketchup. We had to track her down so we could get our bill so we could pay.

Staff was very pleasant. Restaurant smelled of wet hay, more than I’ve experienced it before & it wasn’t pleasant. Our waitress missed items we ordered & had to ask to have them taken off the bill because after mentioning they were missing, the items were never brought. Imagine the reason the baked potatoes were under cooked in middle was due to extra large size. Gross. Overall the experience turned my & my guests off of going to that Montana again…

First and last time at this location. The food was the worst food we have had at a restaurant. Cold! Reheated or microwaved was obvious. The wings were so crisp and over done there was barely any meat inside. Fries arrived cold. Bbq sauce was put in sandwich cold, the meat was very fatty. Rice dishes were crisp and dry around the edges ( microwave?). Do I need to say more.

I haven’t been to Montanas in quite some time as I had a couple of not so good experiences in the past. However on this visit I was pleasantly surprised… the food was great, service was excellent. The only thing I would have wished different is that the table full of little kids (birthday party) wasn’t seated right next yo us. I love kids, have them and had bday parties with them at restaurants as well. I would just seat couples or small groups farther away. That way everyone’s happier.

Dayna did a great job! The one drawback is in Montana's advertising doesn't sat the specials are only available after 4 pm. Food we chose (chicken wings) were delicious! Didn't know it is Gluten Free friendly.

It was nice to meet up with friends. I haven’t seen in almost a year, unfortunately, it closed at 10. I don’t understand that, but then again, I’m from Toronto where restaurant bars stay open until at least midnight. Anyway, we waited an awfully long time for our appetizers. We had appetizers and drinks, and it took 40 minutes for appetizers. It was really odd. Anyway, our waitress Kelsey was amazing! She was absolutely fantastic and I hope that if I ever go back to that Montana’s, she will be working and taking my table.
