They did not offer dim-sum. There was no listing that service stopped at a certain time anywhere online, we were extremely disappointed as it was suppose to be an anniversary dinner & we were really looking forward to it. The experience left a poor taste in our mouth (aka, no taste), and we will not be back.

I was meeting a couple of old friends for lunch and I decided to book Moon Palace since I've been there over ten times for dim sum and every single time, no regrets. I always do the ordering and I probably ordered two dishes over our limit, but I'd rather have extra than be short. My favorite dish is probably scallops rice noodle. One really attentive waitress must of filled our tea pot at least ten times during our 2 hour dim sum lunch. It was so tasty, I ordered another beef ho fun noodle for take out watching March Madness. Downtown dim sum here is always a hit ! Book it ! Moon Palace !

I've eaten at Moon Palace about ten times now, and each time is just as delicious as the other times. I usually order the same items, but this visit I ventured and tried the Braised E Fu noodle with lobster meat in egg sauce. Amazing ! Next visit I'll have to leave room for some dessert.

We went there for lunch on Sunday having pre-booked through the OpenTable app. They made us wait for a table even though we were right on time and they had clearly allowed walk-ins and were over booked. Finally fitted us downstairs in a confined space which was so loud you cant even hear yourselves. When I asked for a better table, the manager was rude and unapologetic and didn't bother, saying its my fault for not specifying upstairs in our booking, as if we would know. We ordered a few dim sum dishes and some time after we placed our order, the waiter informed that one of the dishes had sold out and said that we should have been told earlier. Excuse me? Dishes were of a good standard but pricey and given the poor service and bad ambience and rudeness of the manager, I wouldn't bother going there again. Definitely not recommended.

Hello KenW, sorry to hear that. Sunday was Lunar new year, it takes time to clean up and reset table settings. Every walk-ins we take is recorded on our wait list. If you have specific needs "seating arrangement, wheel chair accessible, dietary restrictions etc" you should inform us via Opentable messenger the same platform. I have had dim sum lunches in Vancouver, Scarborough, Markham, Las Vegas and DT Toronto and Moon Palace ranks right at the top with Noodles Bellagio and Red 8 at the Wynn. Shopping at the Atrium and Eaton Centre area I spotted Moon Palace by accident and have had lunch there about 10 times since. I have a friend in Ottawa and the dim sum houses there are scarce so whenever they visit we always end up at Moon Palace. The truffles dumplings and scallops rice noodle are a must order. Wait staff are plenty and always make sure our Jasmine tea pot is filled. A few waiters always remember our previous visits. Makes me feel welcome and want to come back again. Once I mentioned to a waitress that we were super hungry and going to feast that day and she immediately pushed another table over to make my table for 2, a table for 4. Bring on the lobster on Cantonese chow mein noodles dish ! Keep up the great work Moon Palace, see you next month !

Every dish was a hit but we preferred the meals over the dim sum. We ordered the mango prawns, teriyaki angus beef, veggie fried rice, pumpkin lobster soup and more and were thoroughly pleased. They forgot one of our orders but we didn't mind since we were so full and satisfied.

Food was surprisingly good!! We expected it to be westernized but wasn’t. Recommend Typoon style lobster and the Peking duck. Would definitely come back to try the dim sum(according to reviews). Originally booked for 5 ended up being 9 of us and staff accommodated us with no issue. Wait staff was highly attentive. Price does reflect location and well worth it. Good for groups or date night.
