Coming from the Twin Cities MN, which has loads of Hmong, Viet, Thai, other SE Asian cultures and cuisine, we felt right at home in the Big Easy at MoPho. The Chicken Khao Soi was a rich, not spicy curry based dish bursting with flavor and complimentary textures. The chicken pulled apart effortlessly with chopsticks, and crunchy noodles made for a perfect bite. The special Pork Pho was a mouth watering smorgasbord of varied pork cuts, from salty melt in your mouth belly, to tender meatballs (cubes). The pork steam buns were an express train to flavortown. Filled with pork belly and cracklings for a perfect textural balance of opposites. The boba drinks had the option to add a thoughtfully selected alcohol pairing to each. A great option for those who don’t imbibe/kids, and scoundrels like myself. The atmosphere was mellow and laid back. The service was fast and exceptional. Overall well worth the trip from downtown, a short 10-15 min uber. Second Line brewing is visible from MoPho and deserves a shout out as well. A dynamic duo of places with great service and vibes that make for a great date night. 10/10.

MoPho never disappoints! The waiter and kitchen accommodated three different allergy concerns between the four diners; very graciously. There are seriously no better gluten free chicken wings anywhere. Thanks, MoPho!

I’m not a fan of Vietnamese cuisine, but my friends enjoy it. This was fusion so there were many dishes other than pho that attracted me. Ate a grilled shrimp bowl with coconut rice and yellow curry sauce. Service was great. Had peanut butter ice cream for dessert.

Had a business lunch here and it was amazing. Staff were very attentive and well versed on the menu. We had one person with food allergies and they took that very seriously. Even offered secondary choices to accommodate the food allergy. I personally had the shrimp and grits and it was AMAZING! I ate every single bite! Scraped the plate clean!

Great interpretation of Asian Fusion, as the restaurant advertises. Indonesian Chicken, Thursday special, was delicious. Shrimp (fried) Vermicelli bowl with Yellow Curry sauce on the shrimp was refreshing and delicious. Service was great.

This is a neighborhood restaurant with cool mid-century decor. The service was prompt, attentive and friendly. The chicken wings appetizer were the best. The fried oyster rolls were good too. Entrees included the Sunday cochon, fish and chips and shrimp and grits. All were great!

Other than the host, who had the personality of a doorstop, everything was lovely. The food was amazing. Our server was fun, polite, kind, and had great suggestions! I had the Spicy Chicken Vindaloo Sandwich and Spicy Sesame Cucumbers. I left nothing behind. Both the people I was with had pho and were equally satisfied with their meals. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Great food and service from Gil. Tried the excellent wings with caramel sauce, fried fish and Thursday’s special Indonesian fried chicken, all crispy and light, not greasy and heavy. Gil really took care of us. Will need to go back!

It was ok. The food was for the most part really good. The buns were the stars of the show. The service was slow and they were not super busy. Our waiter disappeared for about 10 mins at the end. We don’t live in the area, but even if we did I don’t think we would return.

It was the worst service i can remember. They were not busy but our server hung out at the bar chatting with other staff. While I have worked in the service industry and am empathetic to the work, this was appalling. Additionally, when asked for cream with my coffee, he said he would see what they have but didn't think they had any. Almost at the end of our meal, after asking a third time for it, he brought some "cream product" used for the food. Clearly, i did not drink the coffee and was still charged $3 for it. When he asked if we needed boxes, i said i am fine but then he walked away when my guest was going to ask for one. His tone was rude and like we were not worth his time. I am so grateful for the culinary excellence of my city and all that make that possible, with the exception of this server and unfortunately now MoPho.

Great food and drinks, the MoPho griddled chicken with the vindaloo sauce is spicy and delicious. The Dragon Lady drink was also fantastic, the only drawback is that is slow for everything, but not to the point that I would not come back, just takes awhile. Everyone I have brought has been very pleased.

We came for an early dinner before a concert with a couple friends. They have really amazing cocktails so we enjoyed those until our friends got there to meet us/ running late. We tried a couple apps. My favorite were the chicken bites tossed in the spicy vindaloo sauce. We also got the yellow curry bites, crispy green beans, and a couple different spring rolls. Can’t wait to come back and try more things!

I wanted to meet a friend for lunch. He was in the City Park area and MoPho has been on my list for years. I made my OpenTable reservation and was seated immediately upon entry. He was running late but the staff was graceful about it. We ordered the chicken pho (him) and beef pho (me). He said it was the most flavorful chicken pho he’s ever had and each piece of beef (comes with a variety) was delicious in mine. Great choice for solid service and delicious food.

Decided to go here after savoring the food I’ve seen posted on Instagram. Was not disappointed! Cute place with lots of seating and staff. The flavors are on point with what I didn’t even know I needed! We had the nuoc mam caramel wings, the som tam salad, fried p&j oysters with a pickled blue cheese, and a fried hot vindaloo chicken sandwich all which were delicious.

Mopho is a constant family favorite. I don't think we've ever had a bad meal here. The only time I'm ever upset is when they take something awesome off the menu, but usually it's replaced with something great.
