   Lovingly crafted dishes with extremely high-quality ingredients. Everything was delicious. I think it’s the best sturgeon I’ve ever had. The food is made with passion and and integrity. The service was friendly and casual yet right on point. I highly recommend it, and I will return.

   We just did not care for the food or wine. We recommend that as a foraging restaurant, they provide context for what/where they forage. The flavors and textures were not good and two of three entrees came out cold. Desserts were pretty but bland. It was fairly expensive for the dishes.

   This place is fantastic! What a surprise. We opted for the chef's tasting menu and loved every bite. It's a bit loud, so not the place for a quiet business dinner. I'll definitely be back next time we are in Portland.

   For $98/person + $50 wine paring + $25 oysters… not worth it. We had 5 guests and we were all stunned. Portion is small as usual for 5 course meals but they were not filling at all. The wine wouldn’t come out on time with the meals and some people were served next earlier than others. The pictures on yelp were completely different than what we expected. I understand that the menu changes, but the plate and aesthetics were definitely not on the same level. I’m not sure about the wall art or what “ambiance” they were going for. We wrote down two persons’ restricted diet and they didn’t follow suit so she got her dessert after everyone ate since the chef had to make it special for her. We got there around 730 and dinner ended around 10.

   Great food, but timing inbetween courses could use some work, glasses of wine seem rather small, but bottle prices are great so, get a bottle! That albacore tartare was awesome

   Cameron is a very creative chef. The food is amazing and unlike any place else. Fresh foraged and beautiful presentation, but the unique combinations made the experience so special and tasty. A small place off the beaten path, but very special and wonderful, even by Portland standards. Wonderful oysters with Brussels sprout vinegar and celery oil. Fabulous sturgeon with scrumptious parsnips, focaccia with kohlrabi and nettle butter. Delectable mushrooms with hazelnuts. Celery root ice cream!! Wonderful. Kumquat tort. Terrific service. Nice little wine selection. Great alcohol free homemade soda.

    The food was absolutely amazing here. NO DRAMA with making a reservation like some other high end places that have the same quality. I felt everything was extremely well priced given the outstanding quality. It is clear that everyone who works there is passionate about what they do. The menu was creative and changes based on what they have available. The server knew the menu and what to suggest, but you can't go wrong! We loved it. I came to celebrate my 35th birthday here with my best friends and we will definitely be going back!

    Had such a lovely evening with my partner for their birthday! The staff made accommodations for the both of us since we’re vegan and they were so kind! Will be back soon ^_^

    No one is doing what Chef Cameron is doing at Morchella. Go for incredible takes on ingredients you're familiar with, and stay for delicious revelations from some you aren't.

    A unique concept for a restaurant that works extremely well. The dishes are prepared entirely with locally foraged and sourced ingredients. The preparations are simple and balanced, showcasing the characteristics of the seasonal elements. Everything was excellent -- a hallmark of a great restaurant. The decor is simple and tasteful.

    What a delight! Each dish was beautifully presented and delicious. Server was friendly and fun. Eating at Morchella is an experience and one we will be back for especially as the seasons change. The green ambiance was not what I expected but hey - to each their own. Highly recommend!

    Very high quality and interesting food! Everything we had was phenomenal. They also say their menu changes every 2-3 weeks which is very cool. I love that the mushrooms are locally foraged. Will definitely be coming back!

    Morchella was one of the best meals I have had this year. We were lucky to have been greeted upon sitting by owner and Chef Cam, who graciously entertained all of my fathers questions and told us about his food philosophy. He also recommended a beer for my dad that was his favorite and went perfectly with our chosen dishes. Everything we ate was incredible, complex, and perfectly balanced. All I can say is that the bread pudding is the stuff of dreams. Run, don’t walk, to this neighborhood gem.

    I made and confirmed a reservation at Morchella through OpenTable. When I arrived at the restaurant, there was a sign in the window that said it was closed for a private party and the restaurant was empty. I called the restaurant and left a message and have not been contacted with an apology. Addendum: The restaurant did call me once and was unable to leave a voice mail message because my voicemail was not set up on my new phone. They did not call me a second time, text me, or cancel my reservation in OpenTable.

    Love Morchella! However, this time around we were the last diners at the restaurant, and it was apparent given the volume Rancid was being played at. It felt like we were being reminded that the restaurant was going to close after we left. It took away from the experience

    Food is good but they need to work on coursing out the food. Oysters first! Always! Space needs some work- lights are too bright, all hard surfaces make noise level really loud so it is hard to have a conversation.
