More Vino, Port of Spain
With the success of the Ariapita Avenue’s location, it was decided to branch out to San Fernando and offer another experience to another part of the country. More Vino More Sushi opened on December 21st, 2011 fully equipped with a downstairs and upstairs dining area as well as an outdoor decking. Offering the same great quality of sushi, wine and service as its north counterpart, “South Vino” as it is also known as is proud to fill this gap within the Southern area
Buffet was sub par. Original host I spoke with over the phone to confirm both reservation and seating request was curt and harassed to do both. When we got there, we were indeed expected - however, the table that was said to be booked by former was not despite our arriving at specified time. Prosecco ordered by the glass had a poor serving size, which was mentioned and agreed with, yet was charged approx 10 usd. All in all I personally would be hard pressed to return to their buffet night... and would not recommend it to anyone that asks.
We go quite frequently, More Vino is one of the best places in town and certainly one of the best two or three places for really good sushi in Port of Spain.
Casual but pleasant wine bar type atmosphere. Great palce for a friends get together. Sushi very good and a choice ofhot asian food on the menu as well. Good choice of wine and cocktails.
