I don’t generally leave reviews but our experience was so great I had to leave one. As parents it is a little difficult getting out for a date night so when we finally got a night away I wanted to ensure we had a great time. The wife has been asking me to take her out for a romantic evening for some time so I reached out to a few different locations in the desert and decided upon Morgan’s in the Desert. The reason I chose Morgan’s was the service was exceptional from the first phone call. I called to inquire about their menu as my wife is a pescatarian and the hostess connected me with executive Chef Rene who took the time to answer my questions personally which blew me away. Given that Chef Rene was so personable I knew Morgan’s was going to make our date night memorable. I had mentioned to Chef Rene that we don’t get a chance to get out often and wanted to ensure our evening was special. Although we did not have the pleasure of interacting with Chef Rene personally as he was unavailable the night we came in he ensured our experience was top notch by relaying our conversation to the staff in order to ensure we enjoyed our dinner. Upon arrival the manager Noe greeted us, introduced himself and made himself available to us. We were then seated and waited on by our waiter Keith who was very attentive and accommodating. Now regarding the food, all I can say is wow! Our dishes were delicious & the presentation was superb! Initially we were undecided on our main courses but when Chef Rigo came to our table to offer his recommendations we went with his suggestions and all I can say is they did not disappoint! The entire experience was memorable and exceptional. The staff made us feel like royalty and the food was delicious and almost to beautiful to eat.. my wife who was very happy said she enjoyed the dinner,wine, romantic atmosphere and is asking when I can take her back . Thank Morgan’s in the Desert!!

We love dining at Morgan’s and had excellent service and great food last night. Our only negative feedback is that the piano player never arrived! (We always time our meals there so we can enjoy the live music in the lounge.) We eat very healthy and mostly Vegan for the health benefits, so we would have preferred that the Eggplant Vegan dish was not breaded and fried.

We were celebrating two birthdays and Chef Rene completely blew it out of the park. Everything brought to the table was incredible, it was such a beautiful dinner! Thank you Noe, Chef Rene, and Chef Cooper for taking such great care of us.

We looked at reviews and decided to try Morgan’s, food was delicious the flavors well balanced and the presentation very nice. Service was excellent, attentive and friendly. Bar area had live entertainment with a great selection of songs. Can’t remember the managers names but definitely a good touch when manager stops by to welcome you and check on your dining experience.

The food was. Dry edible and served promptly. The fact that this could be accomplished on a very busy thanksgiving weekend was pretty amazing. Wine selection wasn’t good.

My friend and I experienced the Vegan Chef’s demo which included 4 courses and was amazing. That evening we had dinner at Morgan’s in the Desert and the service was impeccable, the beef bourguignon was one of the best meals I ever had, and the overall ambience was relaxed and warm. Chef Rene’, Chef Andrew, Chef Javier, Chef Donny, and the other Chefs are highly skilled in creating a fabulous dining experience. You will not be disappointed if you choose to dine at this gem in the desert

Dear Anonymous, Thank you, I am sorry that our chef’s preparation of the turkey did not meet your expectations. To be different from our other two restaurants, Chef Rene did his in a roulade, using the Sous-Vide method of cooking. This was the subject of his cooking class held in his kitchen today. This recipe requires the breast to be pounded rolled and the sous-vide method requires it to be wrapped before cooking changes appearance and texture from that of the traditional roasted of fried turkey. We use the very best, Diestel Farm Ranch Organic turkey. Your satisfaction is important to us, we want to make it right and would welcome the opportunity to do so during this stay or next. Overall, nice place but disappointed in a $50 turkey dinner. We ordered Thanksgiving dinner and the turkey breast was not breast as advertised. It was processed and rolled, which was disappointing as it was soft and mushy. They gave us a discount which was appreciated but still disappointing on Thanksgiving.

First time at Morgan’s. What a treat from the food to service; it’s nice to see employees engaged with their customers, manager checking on your experience and food we even saw 2 chefs walking around talking to customers. We will make Morgan’s part of our favorite restaurants

Our server Michael was fabulous. We asked for his suggestion on various options, and he was spot on with his recommendations, which we truly appreciate! The basil me down martini, again a Michael recommendation, was fabulous! He promised a refreshing martini and that is exactly what we received. I am not a gin fan, so I ordered mine with vodka - delish! Our group of four (4) ordered the Seafood Linguine, Pork Chop, Lamb Shanks and the Jidori Chicken, all were flavorful and our plate were cleaned. Dessert was equally enjoyed. Our group devoured the pumpkin spice roll, homemade cheese cake, and the chocolate cherry. Once again not a morsel was left to send back to the kitchen. The patio was lovely, and the environment added to the overall experience. Thank you for a wonderful evening spent with a longtime friend.

Unfortunately..the steak looked like it came from Sizzler! New York strip was 1" thick and fatty..plus we had to send it back as it was tasteless. To make things worse..the Sea Bass was sent back too..no flavor. To their credit the chef came out and redid both dinners and removed corkage charge for wine I brought. The crowd was small..and now I know why.

We have been eating at Morgan’s for many years, and it never disappoints. It is one of the most beautiful back patios in the area. Our waiter, Jesse, was wonderful, knowledgeable and attentive. The seafood linguine was delicious and dessert with cherries and salted caramel gelato was to die for. We’ll be back. Thanks Jesse!

Wonderful evening at Morgan’s, service friendly and attentive, busboy, server and bartender Brian made us feel welcome, new manager Noe stop by to introduce himself and even Chef was checking on us and other tables. We can’t wait to be back to Morgan’s.

Loved the restaurant ambience and furnishings, very comfortable. Service was timely throughout the evening. I had the lamb shank which was delicious. There were four of us and we were all happy with our experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside on the patio by the firepit with my husband for an intimate birthday dinner. The staff was incredbile and worked well together as a team as well as talking with us and answering questions we had about the menu. The food was fantastic! Will definitely go again.

Delightful from beginning to end. We had the lemon pepper salad which was so fresh and tasty. Husband had what he says is the best filet he ever had and I had the scallop special which was very good. It was as my birthday so I was given a birthday card and ended with a complimentary dessert and a lit candle! Service was impeccable.
