Morton's Grille - Niagara Falls
Very good food, great view. Very friendly staff. easy walking distance from our hotel. Thumbs up!!
Extremely overpriced for an average meal and disappointing ambiance. Server stations were a mess and in plain sight of our table. Serving stands left out all around the area. Lighting was terrible with some lights bright, some dim and others not working. Service was just okay. It seemed the Hostess was in training and struggling on her own most of the time. For over $100 per person I expect more. Very disappointing for a special occasion. Would not recommend nor return.
This is second time we have eaten in a Morton’s. Never again!
Service was extremely slow. Food did not come out at the same time. Extremely salty
Cocktail drinks were tiny. Glass half full
Pork chop dry, filet mignon was cooked right but had a sauce that was extremely salty.
Parmesan truffle fries came late and did not have Parmesan or truffle oil on it. The fries were extremely salty as well.
I’m a Morton’s regular in New York and have never had a bad experience there.
Outside of Rouchelle, experience was way belong what I would have expected for a 350 dollar meal for two. This is not a Mortons other than by name and price. I am surprised Mortons is not a little more protective of its branding. A very high priced road house. Left lights to bright so could not take advantage of environment. People were pleasant. Slimy lettuce, they then acknowledged that our incident lead to an inventory check, where more was removed.
My husband and I went for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect!
Very expensive for a disappointing dining experience.
I ordered the $57 bone-in striploin which had a lot of gristle and fat, and was not seared like normal. I sent it back and was given a regular striploin but it took a long time and wasn't very good either.
Steaks are a la carte so we paid another $15 each for beans and mushrooms. The beans were ok but under cooked.
I should have just opted not to have the steak replaced because not only was the steak not comp'd or even discounted, but I was charged full price for the other steak which was more expensive.
Our server was very nice but overall, we we're not impressed that there was not even an apology for the bad steak or the fact that my husband was already finished his meal by the time my new steak had arrived.
I had an exceptional meal at another restaurant the next night for a quarter of the price.
Bartender was rude and ignored us. Food was overpriced and only fair.
Overpriced for average food - steak was good but should be at 60 dollars! Rest of food was nothing special. So overpriced it made the meal unenjoyable.
Don't do breakfast at Morton's - cold, basic breakfast that cost 30 dollars a head - go to Applebite 100 yds along the road, a quarter of the price and much better.
Steaks are average, if you make good steaks at home, you can do the same as they do,, prices are crazy,, being able to sit and watch the Falls while you eat may be worth the price.
Unfortunately the experience was rather poor… Complete opposite to what we are hoping especially for the premium price. The 8 once fillet mignon steak was just “OK” but certainly nothing special, the button mushrooms were extremely salty (as if somebody dropped a salt container in the mushrooms) but the asparagus was very good and tasty...unfortunately although it wasn’t busy the service was very poor (it appeared they where understaffed)
The food was very good and service was exceptional. Very pricey but you’re paying for the view of the falls.
No need to make a reservation as it means nothing. We had to wait until several other parties were seated before getting our table, even though we reserved in advance and were on time. Non-reservations even got the better tables! However, the waitresses were awesome, as was the food and ambience, so that made up for the initial disappointment and frustration. Good meal.
Over priced. Small portions. Nice view and bar scene
NY Strip Steak was amazing, delcious perfect cut with the smallest amount if fat at the very end. Appetizers and sides were good as well. Service was excellent, came to chek on the table multiple times, came and told us there was a 20 min delay in the kitchen and brought us free appetizer while we waited but the sad part is that theres NOT THAT GOOD OF A VIEW OF THE FALLS. The restaurant is only on the 3rd floor of the hotel, I Sat against the window but there are a lot of trees blocking the view of the falls but you Can still see parts of the falls, but not the view youd expect! AND there was an extra $16 Charge to the bill for "fireworks and falls view" when I didnt even stay for the fireworks. Had a much better view from my hotel room on the 9th floor!
Overall it was a great experience and the food was good. A little overpriced though.
Slightly disappointed - the view of the Falls was nonexistent because of the trees which I was told by server they cannot trim because of environmental rules. Food was good but overpriced considering other options in the area have better views and just as good of food. Service was good but nothing special. Also, not a member of Landry's, so could not use gift card we had and did not get points for dining.
Very noisy with small children present. Poor dress attire, dress code not enforced. Quality of food is not appropriate for the price. Had high hopes since it was a Morton's but very disappointing over all. Will not recommend to others.
The food was subpar. The service was excellent and the ambiance, with the view of the falls, was very enjoyable. But, overall, this was my first, and last, visit to Morton's Steakhouse.
The filet mignon at Morton's was the best I have ever tasted. We had a beautiful view of the Falls. Service was exceptional. There is nothing I would change; a perfect dining experience.
Waaaaaaayyyy overpriced. Did not accept American money. BS
Great location, great service & great food!
We had the crab cake- best crab cake we’ve ever had.
I highly recommend Morton’s for a nice meal out.
Great service and food! I was initially upset because the website describes that a Prix-fix menu is available, but when we got there we were told that it is only during the winter. That information should be on the website. We enjoyed a wonderful meal with great service anyway.
View not so good
Service better yet vs food
Value not so much
Service was good however paying 280.00 for something that tasted like it came from a wedding buffet is completely unacceptable. We ordered a striploin and chefs cut ribeye. I ordered the striploin medium rare it came out on the well done side. I sent it back and the second try was blue in the middle and burnt on the outside. The ribeye looked like a fillet and was very dry with out any marbling and tasted like a burnt meat loaf. This was easily the worst steak I’ve browsed ever had at a so called high end restaurant. Also the first time I sent back a steak. No apologies for the terrible meal and would never consider eating there again.
A total waste of time and money.
The food was poorly prepared and the service staff was amateurish at best, particularly the manager who appeared to do nothing more than strut through the dining room looking at her reflection in the windows.
We would strongly advise hotel guests and visitors to Niagara Falls to look elsewhere.
Great service by Mario, over the top!
Was disappointed in the overall ambience of restaurant. I was on a special occasion date and dressed accordingly, as was my date. We felt a little uncomfortable when we were seated next to a family with children who were dressed as if they were going to McDonalds. The table we were seated at was terribly small to the point we had to be very careful for fear of knocking over our drinks. The food was acceptable but my steak was not cooked as I requested. I did not want to send it back and wait so I just made the best of the situation. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant if you want have a romantic dinner.
Server was very good. Pleasant & answered all our questions! She was the highlight of our experience. food was overpriced & underwhelming. I've cooked much better steaks, for about a quarter of what we paid at Mortons, on my own grill at home. For the prices they charge, everything should be exceptional, it wasn't!
This isn’t what I was expecting.. I was expecting Morton’s steakhouse seamless service. But I went to Morton’s grille... it’s like going to Burger King looking for a Big Mac. They are completely different
Food at Morton's was not good at all it took a long time to get the meal. The steak actually made me a little sick and had way too much sauce on it. I found the environment to be loud and unnecessarily noisy. I would not recommend this restaurant any celebrations. Staff was somewhat friendly but still the wait for the food was not worth it. If you can find another Steakhouse to go to like Copacabana or brizes or Sparks I was suggested.
The view was great and the service was excellent. We loved the wine selection.
had a wonderful meal with fine food and great service.
Excellent service! Desiree our waitress was amazing!! Food was outrageous and all our requests were met! 5 star!!
Excellent service. Food was great too. Enjoyed a quiet evening with the family
Miriam was an amazing waitress! We had a lovely birthday for my mother- couldn’t have asked for a better meal and service.
Not a real Morton’s. Didn’t honor Landry’s points program, didn’t allow redemption of gift certificate. Doesn’t offer a full Morton’s menu and service was poor. An ok selection of local wines but poor recommendations and no knowledge of what they had.
Thoroughly disappointing and not worthy of full service Marriott Resort.
Service was great. Very friendly. Green beans are to die for and my son enjoyed his steak salad. The steak, lobster/steak we just par for the price.
Could be better if the threes in front were well cut. As a this you can not really see the falls
