Morton's Grille - Niagara Falls
Food at Morton's was not good at all it took a long time to get the meal. The steak actually made me a little sick and had way too much sauce on it. I found the environment to be loud and unnecessarily noisy. I would not recommend this restaurant any celebrations. Staff was somewhat friendly but still the wait for the food was not worth it. If you can find another Steakhouse to go to like Copacabana or brizes or Sparks I was suggested.
The view was great and the service was excellent. We loved the wine selection.
had a wonderful meal with fine food and great service.
Excellent service! Desiree our waitress was amazing!! Food was outrageous and all our requests were met! 5 star!!
Excellent service. Food was great too. Enjoyed a quiet evening with the family
Miriam was an amazing waitress! We had a lovely birthday for my mother- couldn’t have asked for a better meal and service.
Not a real Morton’s. Didn’t honor Landry’s points program, didn’t allow redemption of gift certificate. Doesn’t offer a full Morton’s menu and service was poor. An ok selection of local wines but poor recommendations and no knowledge of what they had.
Thoroughly disappointing and not worthy of full service Marriott Resort.
Service was great. Very friendly. Green beans are to die for and my son enjoyed his steak salad. The steak, lobster/steak we just par for the price.
Could be better if the threes in front were well cut. As a this you can not really see the falls
I thought it was great- got two free cocktails as per Marriott tour we booked. Flatbread, onion bread, and meatball apps were delish. Garlic green beans were the best I ever had. Potatoes augratin were amazing. Just a little pricey but I enjoyed it with my family!
Options for fine dining are limited. My first visit to a a Morton’s Grill. A little more casual on both the dinner and wine menu. The pasta was OK and the service was a lot better than the upscale Ruth’s Chris. Complementary Key Lime Pie for our thirtieth anniversary. Window seat had a limited view of Horse Shoe Falls through the trees.
Appalling service. Spoke to manager who equally showed little interest.
Staff were helpful beyond their job description. Happy to share feedback Regarding things to do in Canada. Waitress was attentive, professional and personable.
The steaks are overpriced and we’re not cooked as ordered. Asked for medium and got rare. The ah gratin potatoes were pretty bland. The high point was the desert which was overpriced as well.
We were not impressed by this "STEAKHOUSE" drinks were slow to come out and poorly made, food was slow and really not what is expected at the price. Go for the view and order a $20 cheeseburger and coke.
Took 1 hour to receive our food which had only a few tables occupied. Reservations with children was at 8:30pm and received our food at 9:35pm.
Ambiance, staff and service were excellent. Underwhelmed by the steak for being Morton’s
Hostess was not friendly which got the night off to a bad start (yes we had reservations) If we weren’t on vacation and it wasn’t our anniversary dinner I would have left. Luckily the night was saved by our waitress who was super friendly and excellent all around. The food was not worth the money. I have had better steaks in many other steakhouses, average at best.
The food was amazing. Pricey but really really Amazing
We came here because it was located close to the Marriott where we were staying for our anniversary & told our waiter-he gave us a dessert with happy 27th Anniversary on it!! Very sweet & made us both feel “special”!
Good location- food average - ambience and service terrible
View was the best part of the experience. My filet was a bit over cooked, but the au Poivre was great. The double stack burger was very average. The twice baked potato side was not good. The asparagus was good, but didn’t need the balsamic. The bread pudding was very good. The wine list is mediocre...very disappointing.
For the price, I would have expected much better.
The steak was AMAZING!
The waitress was awful, rude from the beginning and so terrible with timing, waited 15 mins for apps, then waited for her to clear them when we were done, completely unprofessional for this type of restaurant... made it a yucky experience -never going back
The food was delicious and the servers are very attentive. My husband and I had a table next to the window and were able to enjoy the view of Horseshoe Falls. However, I believe any seat in the house provides a great view of the falls.
Quality of ribeye was not like we are used from Morton’s
The Creme Brûlée was to low viscous (it was like Crema Catalan) also to less vanilla seeds. The guy who served the food had food marks on his shirt and trousers.
Luckily the waitress “Anna” was really warm and professional.
Service was very slow. We waited over an hour for our dinner. Drinks and first course came quickly but main course was so slow.
Our waitress organized a birthday photo & personalized dessert for my son’s 10th birthday. It was perfect!
Our 7pm reservation turned into a 2.5 hour dinner. Took forever to get our dinner, then one of the steaks was over cooked. Didn’t want to wait forever for another one, so ate it. Mac and cheese was dried out. Waited for the bill for 20 minutes. Steak taken off , but too many negatives to recommend this place. Very overpriced.
The food was fantastic but the service left a lot to be desired. It was disorganized. Ny server was not very attentive although she was very pleasant. I asked another gentleman for bread and I never saw him again. It took 20 mins to get my check. Over all the only thing I can say is the food was great and that’s it
Unfortunately we never had a chance to eat at Morton’s in Niagara Falls. After an hour of waiting for the food we ordered (a simple order of two fillets and a side order) we reluctantly made the decision to cancel our order and pay for wine we ordered and did not even finish. Our server indicated they prioritized two large groups before our order. A business decision that means we will not return to this establishment which was indicated to the server. While she discussed the situation with the “manager” no direct discussion with the manager ensued. Very disappointed given the high end prices and cache supposedly associated with the Morton’s name.
This was a watered down version of the Morton's experience. The drinks were watery, salad was cold and wilted (not prepared to order) and steak was overdone (ordered medium and got nearly well). The sides were just okay, too much salt on everything. I resent paying top dollar for a mediocre meal that is supposed to be up to standard. I would not return here.
The steak was cooked wrong and inedible, and the manager could not have cared less and was borderline rude, don’t know how he got to be a manager as he has had little or no training in customer service. It was our anniversary and we were told when we got there that we could not sit in the section that had a good view of the falls because they did not have enough serving staff to serve that section, which we had requested in advance for our special occasion. A $45 ribeye steak had so much gristle in it that you could not chew it up. We were also told that this was a Morton franchise and not part of the Morton family, so we could not use the $50 gift card we had been given for our anniversary. Overall a terrible experience it all the more frustrating by and I’m caring and defensive manager. He reluctantly deducted $20 from a $45 steak that could not be eating and was not eating And which we should not have been charged for.
Travel dinner overlooking Niagara Falls
Steak had to be taken back as it was way overcooked. Manager and wait staff tried to convince me it was the lighting that made it look overdone, not the fact that it was dry and tasteless.
Excellent food and service. So glad we decided to go!
Our server Crystal was top notch.
Excellent food and service.
Definitely over priced. The steak at the keg is was better and priced better as well. The view of the falls is obstructed. I would probably never go back. However waiter was friendly and helpful. But the experience and food just not worth the price we paid.
Our steaks ordered as medium rare and received as medium; unacceptable in a noted steakhouse. Manager discounted and gave us a dessert; still disappointing.
The only thing I noticed was the large quantity of young loud kids - Morton's isn't the brand I think of when I have to tolerate loud screaming kids.
