Morton's Grille - Niagara Fallsの評価
The restaurant is nice, comfortable, our server (Mike) was great, friendly, attentive. I ordered a filet, butterflied and cooked medium well. My husband ordered a NY strip, rare. His steak was medium, one of my pieces was perfect, the other more medium/medium rare. Considering it's a steak house, and very expensive, they should be able to get this right. We stay in this hotel every January for our anniversary, but we won't go to this restaurant again.
Service is a Morton’s hallmark at all the Mortons we’ve been too and this location certainly upheld the high service standards. This location is a Morton’s Grill, a slightly scaled down version of Morton’s with a limited but adequate menu. The view of the Falls is spectacular especially from the window tables. We were staying at the Marriott where the restaurant is located so parking was not an issue. There appears to be adequate parking even for the busy season. I suspect that in the busy season this is a very busy venue and reservations are a must. Easily done on Opentable. At check in the hotel gave us promo vouchers redeemable at the restaurant For a great dinner with a great view and exceptional service this is the place. Prices were about the same as any other good restaurant in the area.
Waitress brought us the wrong meals but was prompt to correct it. Ribeye steaks were tough and without flavor. Upon leaving we were billed for our meals as well as the ones that were wrong. Over all a bad experience.
The food here was pretty good. We didn't have any problems with our food. Desert was great I had an amazing cheese cake. The prices for the food were a bit high but the view from the restaurant and the ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic.
What a great night! I was a little nervous making reservations because the menu prices were not posted online but was happy to find it very affordable. The food was delicious, the service (we had Luke) was top notch! It really was high quality food and service at a reasonable price. Of course the view of the falls is magnificent. We will visit next time we are in town.
French onion soup was good, chopped house salad wasnt bad, salmon arugula was good, rib eye steak was not good, requested for medium rare recieved it as medium well server tried to say it was the lighting so it may appear to look medium well. Sent it back to the kitchen second piece came and it was rare! Server even said she rushed bringing it out! For a steak place i was pretty dissappointed that they could not cook steak and for the server to blame the lighting and not just bring it back was even worse! Presentation of the food was minimal!
Our Sevice was excellent, the waitress was so engaging and so genuine. The food was excellent, bread not so good.
We went for my daughters 13th Birthday. Right off the bat everything was good. They accommodated our seating request and the server was right over. We had a couple questions regarding the menu which were answered. After that I began to feel rushed into making a dinner choice. The choice I made (Ribs) I was told they were out. Dinner service had only been going for 2 hours and they were out of a very popular item with 3 hours to go. Restaurant was only half full. When dinner arrived 2 of the 3 ($50) steaks were not cooked right. We asked for pink through and they were more Blue through. Waited about 8 to 10 min for the server to return in order for it to be correct. They also forgot to prepare one of the 2 sides we ordered. We did not get to eat together as a family as my husband dinner was getting cold while they corrected the error. He was almost done by the time our dinner returned. After all this was corrected we never saw our server again till we were finished. I noticed she was now serving on the other side of the restaurant. We did order a desert for my daughters birthday which took over 20 min to come out. It was a slice of pie. Now the plate was done nicely but not 20 min wait. Also the problem was with our server now working the other side of the restaurant we were forgotten. I was watching and she finally noticed we did not have our desert. I feel when you are paying $50 min a steak and $12 per side you should have a fair bit better services and attention. Overall I was not really happy and did feel we would not return as I was displeased. There were no apologies for the delay or that items were forgotten or that we were forgotten. When it came time to pay the bill the server stood there watching us. It made it very uncomfortable and again we felt were under pressure.
Our experience was not so good. Our party was for 17 people and the staff was not prepared to serve a large group. Even the restaurant offering only a pre set menu for new years eve (which was very expensive by the way) it was a terrible experience. The food was great but the service did not math with the concept of the restaurant.
Some itens of the pre set menu was not available, sparkling wine included was served after midnight, kids meals was served over than 1 hour, not friendly servers...
It is a pitty and unacceptable because the restaurant has an amazing view and tasteful food. However they need to improve the sevice urgently.
We had a wonderful meal on New Year's Eve we chose the last sitting. Our server was very professional and helpful regarding wine selection & food suggestions. There was 4 of us Tuna Poke was amazing 2 of us ordered it I would order it again. The beet salad was great got ro try the french onion soup delicious. Had the rib steak cooked to perfection thr portion was big but took some to go. Had rhe white chocolate bread pudding just delicious one of the best I ever had. They served champagne at midnight & was able to see the fireworks. The while evening was excellent. I would return had lovely view of falls even though we were not right by the water.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!
4 people, spent over $700.00 for what should be the funnest evening, New Year's Eve at the falls. We arrived at 9:30pm, had to request our desert to go at 11:45pm, so we could take in the fireworks. there was almost a 45mins wait between each course ( 4 course) , the portion size were ridiculous . No extras like hats or anything to bring in the New Year. The table next to us had 3 kids under the age of 6 that were crying. What they serve us & the price, we could of went to any restaurant in the falls for 1/2 the price & have entertainment.
I should be credit for this amount of wasted money & time. It has been my worst experience ever
This was a New Year's Eve Celebration.
1. The first two courses arrived in a timely manner. The main courses (salmon and fillet mignon) arrived 1 hour after our salads were removed. The dessert course was served 45 minutes after the main course was removed.
2. When we made the reservation, we asked for a window table. There was a table at the window very near where we were placed. We asked about the window table then, and later during the meal, and both times we were told that someone was coming for the table. No one came to the table from 9:05 p.m. - 12:20 a.m. when we left. Both times we spoke with the Manager -- Todd Sylvester.
3. Two meatballs the size of baseballs as an appetizer is a waste of food.
This was a very disappointing New Year's Eve experience.
Dinner menu for New Years was great. Excellent choices and delicious food. Unfortunately my reservation was not updated for 6 (they had us down for 4) and we were stuck near the cash and cutlery section, at the very back, were the lighting was very bright. Requested if lighting could be turned down, advised it could not. Even got a no show e-mail, for 6, disappointed about that.
New Years Eve
The lighting was extremely bright for an evening dinner it felt like you had spotlights on you. Not very intimate. I felt like we were put in the middle of a room with bright lights on you. I felt like we were at a deli that wanted you in and out quickly. Definitely not a place you dress up and go to for a nice dinner. Poor.
Bad experience for NYE there. Won't go there again.
Excellent service and the food was delicious. Can’t beat their Mac & Cheese to accompany your main meat dish.
Overpriced dinner and reservation made on my side but table was not ready..
Drinks are over priced, food is good. Not the Best steak and not the worst. Side portions are almost generous but again the food is on the high side. Guess your paying for the view of the falls. Would I return, no, I've been to Morton's in the US and had much better experiences.
For me a meat and potatoes type the best steak in North America is Maestro's, no one has come close. However, I do have to mention our server Christina was attentive and engaged in conversation, I would give her 9/10. The floor manager who introduced himself as he hurried by without stopping appeared to be on a mission, to see how many people he could say hi to under a minute. Didn't even hear his name, guess we were not a valued client. Conclusion disappointed after great US experiences at Morton's. Christina was the only above and beyond.
Decent enough meal, but was given the wrong cut of steak. Didn't bother sending it back. Otherwise, service was good. It's one of those hotel restaurants where they can shoot for "decent enough." People will still go, especially when it is frigid out.
Wanted to talk to chef regarding food but he was too busy to talk to guests. Host was also rude. Server did not check in on us. Being a platinum with Marriott this was a huge disappointment since this is the flagship restaurant of Marriott at Niagara Falls.
The hostess was not at all knowledgeable and took her at least 10 mins to get us seated. The foods way over priced and not the greatest quality. Ordered filet mignon and it was over cooked.
Great meal with a super view of the falls always a place to visit
Was a little overpriced. Although food and service was excellent. Did not like the 7.9percent promotion fee. A bill for 4 people i paid 100 dollars in taxes alone.
The food was great! Love the mashed potatoes! Our server was very nice.
Food was delicious! Service (Anna) was amazing! View was stupendous (the Falls). We'll definitely be back!!!
Just an amazing meal. Wonderful strip steak and Mahi Mahi. Desserts were delicious too.
Disappointing experience. Steak was tough, restaurant was very cold, pop music way too loud, and lights so bright overhead we felt like we were in a cafeteria. Poor ambience for such a spectacular view.
Our food was excellent. It would be impossible to complain about the food or the service.
Please know while we know that Morton’s is a tad pricey, it’s also in the Fallsview area of Niagara Falls. For two people, it was $200.
IMO, no meal is worth that.
Dinner was amazing. Meal portions were too big, but it's all the Americans you're catering to I'm sure. But dinner and service was amazing. I went back for brunch after staying in the hotel, and it was bad. Like would never go back for brunch / breakfast bad. Service was great... But food / buffet was shameful. Don't do a buffet if you can't do it right. Very disappointing after the amazing dinner the night before.
Walking distance to our hotel which was good and it was a draw because they have fresh oysters. The oysters were a fair price but everything else was high compared to all the other higher end restaurants within 100yards.
Miriam, our server, made the celebration evening even better by providing consistent, yet not bothersome, service throughout. Recommendations were obviously educated by experience and true to description. Great food, and sides were more than enough to feed 4 adults. Mac and Cheese is a must side and the signature chocolate cake was worth the 20 minute wait to prepare.
Food was mediocre for a Morton’s. Nice staff and wonderful view.
My date and I started with the tot’chos which were deliscious. My partner got a steak and a twice baked potatoe he said the steak was great but the twice baked potatoes were just okay. I had the bolognese pasta it was okay nothing special. We were so stuff we had no dessert. Our waiter was awkward and wasn’t that great. When we got our bill there was a PF tax .... the waiter tried to convince me that it’s mandatory and I said no I’ve had it taken off before he made no fus and took it off. So whatever you do get that removed it is such a scam! Overall I wouldn’t recommend it. Too expensive for the atmosphere and the food. I would have rather gone to the keg!
Food was great,Mac & Cheese outstanding, service was over the top and our server Mike was awsome felt like we knew him for years, had a great night
I always wanted to try this restaurant so I finally booked a table for two, but unfortunately they food was not at all worth the price! I'm disappointed. I won't go back to this restaurant and won't recommend it.
The steak and appetizer potions were very good. We ordered broccoli that was very salty and overwhelmingly garlic, the steak aus jus was also very salty. Ambience was nice but for the overall price I feel we paid more for the name then the food. Service was excellent.
From soul to nuts my night out with friend s went smashingly.
A very good experience! Would definitely eat there again!
Thanks for an amazing night with my daughter. All was fantastic and what a view. They also helped us with a coupon we forgot in our room! We will be back!!
