Cajun Ribeye Steak
We were asked if we wanted a booth or a table and we said booth. The booth was great except that it was right in front of the kitchen and periodically there was load banging of pots and pans. The hostess had other booths available where we could have sat but she chose in front of the kitchen.
Our server was adequate but she did not do anything above or beyond. She was not very attentive.
The food was delicious as is at any Morton’s.
For Thanksgiving evening it was a nice place to be. Although our dessert came out before the entrée, nothing could take away from the wonderful tastes of the food or the professionalism of the wait staff.
Overall, not bad; however, when we arrived it appears the hostess and waitress were not prepared for my brother-in-law’s birthday. I had to ask for the special menu because nobody remembered or knew it was his birthday. The waitress didn’t bring us any bread until I asked for it and there were a couple of times our waitress didn’t even check on us. As a military member eating at Mortan’s is rare occasion, we expected more the amount of money we paid.
The food taste and quality definitely did not fit price tag it was my first time eating there and it was definitely my last I wouldn’t recommend Morton’s. It reminded me of eating at sizzler before they went out of business or possibly steak at Waffle House.
My money would have better been spend at “Ruth Chris”
Some steaks were overcooked. They ran out of turkey options on Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving dinner was memorable. Perfect shrimp cocktail, filet mignon, and yummy chocolate mousse for desert. Service was delightful and attentive.
It is a good experience because Morton's is a legendary restaurant, but the relation price-quality food does not match
Thanks for making it a special birthday and personalizing the menu for the bday girl
The food was horrible, tasteless, I honestly don’t think they a have chief, most of food were microwave prepared, worst steak house experience, the server was great
One of our favorite neighborhood restaurants, Morton never disappoints. The food is great, staff friendly, and dining experience wonderful. Don't forget to order the bread pudding. You won't have room to enjoy it there, but get it to go.
Had a wonderful dinner - the filet was the best we ever had there.
Great environment! The food was amazing. The steak was Cooked to the perfect temperature. Old fashion was marvelous. Great time
Birthday for husband. Food was great. Server got our meals correct and food came out quick but then he disappeared for long periods of time
We had excellent service from the valet to the check. The food was great.
We were shown to a table in a dark corner. Our waiter was excellent even though he was only on the job for a week. He was energetic. We ordered wine and the presentation was the wrong wine. It was explained the bin numbers were incorrect. After 25+ minutes the manager found the wine ordered. I would have expected an understanding and perhaps some remuneration. The food was excellent notwithstanding the wait.
Ate outdoors and was surprised at the Jazz concert across the street! Added bonus!
Hannah was attentive, but not overly so. The food was delicious and worth the price. Hannah's drink recommendation was on point.
We should have gone somewhere else after the negative experience with both the valet and hostess. We just had hopes things would get better. Valet was playing on his phone and said he was ‘busy’ we could go park ourselves. We waited at the door for 10 minutes for someone to greet us and seat us. When sassy rude pants finally came up there I was shocked she is a Morton’s employee with her attitude. I don’t know why no one wanted to give us food menus. We asked her, she said it’s not her job to give us one. We asked the guy who poured our water, he said our server would. From the time we walked into the door it took 30 minutes for us to get a food menu. That’s what we were there for, to eat. Out server was ok. He never brought us our lager beer or the club soda we ordered… we were finished with our steaks by the time our sides came & I’m pretty sure our server got high while we were eating because we could smell it & he was really weird while talking about packing up our food we didn’t eat. (Sides that came after we were done with meal). We were in town visiting our daughter in college and just wanted fo take her and her boyfriend to a good meal. We go to our Morton’s at home often. Corporate needs to check in on this location & do a little secret shopping because they are not meeting the mark.
The General Manager DAVID is Awesome he is always so PROFESSIONAL and HANNAH my server she is just a HUGE ASSET to the company.
It was really nice and chill. I always enjoy myself at this location everybody is so friendly and helpful. I will encourage anybody to go eat here they really make you feel special.
Excellent. Great food . Great service
The GM DAVID is always AMAZING when I dine here a few times a month, my server HANNAH is the BEST IN THE RESTAURANT, and BILL is such a GREAT ASSET to the company again.
High school freshman homecoming dance.
Wonderful food and atmosphere. Very attentive staff to make every occasion special.
Catching up with family
Haven't been to Morton's in a while and never been to this location. Food, service, and price were high-end chophouse standard . Our server, Grif, was outstanding and made us feel quite welcome. We enjoyed terrific steaks, cooked to perfection. The restaurant was quiet -- nearly empty -- which seemed unusual even for a Thursday night. But the intimacy only enhanced our leisurely meal with friends. I enjyed the Morton signature iceberg wedge, a delicious NY Strip cooked perfectly, complemeted with grilled asparagus drizzled with a balsamic sauce, seared brussel sprouts with onions and bacon, and sautéed mushrooms and shallots. Other members of our group enjoyed the petite Filet Mignon and a marvelous center cut rib-eye. Oh, and I had forgotten Mortons was a Landry's Restaurant, so I was able to collect my loyalty points. I need to add this to my favorites -- easy to reach by Metro and seconds off I-395 near the Pentagon. Parking right under the restaurant. I need to come back.
Soon as a I walked in the manager treated me and fiancé with nothing but disrespect . I’ve spent a lot of money with this food chain but I normally go to dc but I was near the Arlington location yesterday. And that was the mistake of a life time. He talk to us as if was our first time ever being in a 5-star restaurant. We was profiled and I’ve never been thru that before. I work in the federal government and for me to experience that was just totally uncalled for. We never was disrespectful. You all need to fire that manager who was on duty 9/13/21 at night time.
Hanna was fantastic. So attentive and helpful. Cajun ribeye and truffle fries were great. No soap in one of the sinks in the men's room but overall good dinner. $$$$
The service and food were superb.
New in the area The drink was out of this world Tge steak was soaked with bourbon Will be back with my family when they visit VA
Excellent service and great food.
Food and service was great! I had an early reservation and was seated right next to the kitchen. Nothing overt but having to listen to their conversation took away from my dining experience. No worries … I’ll ask to be seated elsewhere, next time!
The service was excellent and the food was very well put together. The professionalism and presentation was exceptional.
Morton's The Steakhouse was very professional and curiosity to my wife and I. It was her birthday and they made her feel very special on her special day. I really appreciate it and the food was incredible.
Great food. Tried the 55 usd menu. Amazing! Only expensive .. Double price with drinks.
Great food, the service was a bit slow at the bar. I will try sitting in the dining area next time.
As with most businesses, COVID impacts appear to be the source of Morton's problems. It took over 2-hours to get our food. 1 steak was not cooked properly. the sodas came out without fizz and there was no fix. But most importantly I rated 3 because of our server. He seemed annoyed and at times overly rude. Food was just okay.
A bit pricey which is why it’s a good place for a special occasion
Half of the reason you go to a top steakhouse and agree to pay top prices is for the experience and quality service. Although the food was above average, the experience was awful. We waited 30 minutes for cheesecake after telling the waitress we would have loved the chocolate cake but did not have time to stay for the 25 minute wait she said it would take t prepare it. The whole evening was like that. I understand there are staffing shortages everywhere, but patrons should be warned. Don’t go here thinking you will have a standard Morton’s dinner experience.
Perfection in the making.
