Staff and management were lovely. Our server, Margot was genuine, personable, and friendly. They temporarily lost our doggie bag and quickly worked to resolve the issue- so gracious. On the way out the door they tracked us down when they found it. Super friendly. Will be back again! Cheers! Ps from sides to main dish, the meal did not disappoint. Cherry on top? The key lime pie was to die for.

Excellent steak. Dark ambience. Server was very good but one of our side dishes and a steak sauce never came. They were taken off the bill, of course. Cheesecake was so-so. Key lime pie was great. Don’t think the expense is worth what you’re getting.

Walter took forever, and there only a few tables. The Meat seamed dry as if though it wasnt frozen and defrosted properly.

Noise level-- I wouldn't say energetic; I'd say loud. My friend has hearing loss, wears a hearing aid. Not much conversation going on.

A true delight, as always. Keven is a terrific server. Steaks are highest quality and perfectly cooked. The teamwork in this place is a joy to watch.

All was pretty much the same as it has always been. I used to feel that Mortons was elevated, and while the steaks are great, I am not finding it as elevated as some of the newer restaurants that have come to Portland. We were very clear on what we ordered, but part our dining companions order ended up on our bill. A bit frustrating to have send the bill back. We always go with high hopes and most of the time we leave feeling like we probably won't be back.

It was my daughter's 21st birthday so she wanted to go to a nice steakhouse and dress up. There were six of us. It was a Thursday night and not even a little crowded. 6:30 reservation. We were seated immediately. After 10 minutes I had to wave someone down to get our drink and appetizer order taken. Turned out the man who came over when I was waving my hand was our server. He apologized for the wait. Anyway, long story short, one of the steaks we had was overcooked. The prosciutto wrapped mozzarella appetizers were not good. The prosciutto was way overdone. My sea bass was excellent and my daughter and her other five friends said their steaks were really good. It took a long time to get refills on diet cokes more than once. Service was lacking for sure. Promptness was an issue. We didn't get bread until after the appetizers came which was backwards too. Also: they knew it was her bday and had menus printed up with "Happy Birthday" on them which was nice however no bday dessert was offered to her. On a $600 tab, I would think a $20 comp'd dessert would be standard. We probably will not go back. Many other steakhouses in Portland have far superior service. NEXT!
