6 oz Center Cut Filet Mignon
The four people in our party ordered their filet medium rare. All of us received a very over done filet with no pink at all. The waitress was not attentive and we were not able to return our meal by the time she did come around. I would not recommend Morton’s to friends the experience was less than average.
Overall good dinner, with a few skips here & there. Waiter was a bit scattered and gave us wrong info on the surf & turf. Told us the lobster tail was 7-8 ounces and it ended being closer to 4 ounces at the most. Four out of the six of us ordered it based on that info, so somewhat disappointed. Bread not as fresh as on previous visits. Two people split the Caesar salad and it came to the table split, as it should. Two others split the Wedge salad and that did not come split. Again, a miss for a fine dining establishment. All dishes were hot, delicious and seasoned to perfection. Drinks outrageously priced. Bill for 6 adults with apps, drinks & tip, north of $700.
Food was great though small portions
Wait staff was perfect!
Very crowded but to be expected
The noise level was horrible the music was blasting
The positives greatly outnumbered the negatives
I look forward to returning to the restaurant
First time at Morton's and we weren't disappointed. Service and food were excellent. I will say they told us that the sides were big enough for two. The side of asparagus was not big enough for two. We are big vegetable eaters and that side was only large enough for one of us but other than that, our steaks were done perfectly and were so tender. Our only disappointment was the bread. We prefer a bread basket with several types of breads to choose from, like they do at Capital Grille. All in all our evening was enjoyable and we will return in the future.
Somewhere near the top of the menu was an appetizer that was about 75% fat. We left most of it on the plate and we paid for it without question. Otherwise the food was good but not great. Overall the product and presentation was certainly not a great value in view of the high prices.
Our meals were outstanding. Our server Becky was the icing that put our evening over the top. A jazz pianist for musical ambiance would be better than the piped in music. I know a good pianist (ME)
Went for a holiday dinner and wit was amazing. The service was exceptional.
We have come to Morton’s on Thanksgiving because they are one of very few restaurants open, and literally the only place in town where I could get a reservation a week in advance. Thankfully, they offered a traditional turkey dinner this year, unlike the last time we ate here. But, our waitress failed to give us the special menu along with the regular one until we asked. If we hadn’t checked the website earlier, perhaps we would never have known. Maybe this is what happened to us in 2018. My wife ordered the turkey; I ordered steak from the regular menu. My dinner was more than double the price of the $59 Thanksgiving special. Do you think that’s why the waitress didn’t mention it? Regardless, the price of the turkey dinner was very fair.
The food was great; no complaints about the quality. I wish they offered smaller steaks; I just can’t eat that much as I’ve gotten older. Sadly, I can’t drink as much as I used to either. The bread was very good, but at these prices, more than one type would have been appreciated.
The service was excellent; I greatly appreciated the servers and kitchen staff working on the holiday and tipped 30% to show my appreciation. I wished the kitchen staff could share in that, but I don’t think State Law allows it.
Steakhouse dinners always seem overpriced to me but I’m always reluctant to order steak at cheaper restaurants because I have become conditioned to expect that they need to be expensive.
One disadvantage of a chain restaurant like Morton’s is that they are required to post the calorie count of every dish on the menu; a real disincentive to order that stuffed baked potato.
This was our second time at Morton's Steakhouse in Saratoga Springs. I started with the lobster bisque, my entre was the 8oz filet with bacon wrapped scallops and potato gratin. My wife started with the chop house salad, and her entre was the chicken christopher with grilled asparagus. We asked for a bottle of wine and our server Sara recommended the house cabernet sauvignon, it was delicious!
The food and service at Morton's is second to none. It is one of our very favorite places for fine dining, and we will happily go again.
Thanksgiving dinner was amazing. Our server Amy really made this a special meal. #Another holiday tradition at Morton’s…
Anniversary dinner. Service was outstanding
Amazing birthday celebration! Fine dining at its best and the staff are experts.
Wife's filet was tough and my salmon very overdone.
Excellent beef, very nice starters and sides, and friendly service. Pricey but you know that from Morton’s.
Perfect Evening at Morton’s! Again we enjoyed a fabulous time at Morton’s in Saratoga Springs. Our meals and service were spectacular. Personal attention is a hallmark of this restaurant. It’s always nice to be greeted like an old friend and served with excellence. Thank you to Adam, Sarah, and Kelly. An A+ dining experience!
We booked our reservation well in advance and requested a private table as we were celebrating our 9 year wedding anniversary. When we arrived, we were brought to a table in the middle of the incredibly loud dining room. We asked for a different table and we’re told the only one available was right next to the kitchen. It was extremely loud and distracting but at least we weren’t surrounded by other tables. Then, when our food arrived both steaks we’re supposed to be cooked medium well. My husband’s was rare and mine was well done. They took his back but I declined as we we’re going to a show after dinner. They ended up taking money off the check which was the right thing to do. However, we will never go back. Prices are exorbitant and food is mediocre at best.
Our first visit was for a special birthday, they even printed happy birthday on our menu. Tried the "ocean platter" it was fantastic. The food was prepared perfectly.
Will be there again.
Always a pleasure dining at Morton's. Food and ambience as always great. Will recommend to all.
Food and service was amazing!
Birthday food was excellent servers were attentive
This was a birthday celebration - Morton's created the birthday boy. Service was outstanding and food excellent
In Town celebrating our 51st anniversary. Decided to return to Morton's as we had a great experience last year celebrating our 50th. Again No disappointment. Food, service and drinks beyond our expectation.
Morton’s -Saratoga is such a wonderful special occasion restaurant! The staff is friendly and always attentive. Frank is awesome!! Food is delicious and always hits the mark!
Service at the bar and at the table was below satisfactory. Filet Mignon was coated with to much salt. High way robbery for cost of alcoholic beverages.
Always fun during restaurant week or any other specials they have to offer!
We happened to go to Morton’s this particular evening for our anniversary, and the staff made us feel incredibly loved. Everyone that interacted with us wished us a happy anniversary, and the food (LOVE the lobster bisque) was delicious! So glad to have shared a special night at a great restaurant.
Always a good experience here. I could eat this everyday.
Food is cooked to perfection and service is always all good.
Excellent atmosphere, made you feel special, great meal
Food was perfect from salad to wine to dessert.
The 3 people who ordered lobster bisque were not happy with it. I thought the mashed potatoes tasted watery.
Food was delicious n service was outstanding made my birthday special
Everything was great had a good experience. Lighting was poor at the table.
We had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the kindness expressed in this restaurant was unbelievable. Loved every second and we will be going back.
Service was top notch and we enjoyed the dimly lit, elegant setting for a romantic dinner. The bread served with our meal was one the best and definitely in the top five of all time. Our dinners were flavorful and perfectly cooked. We also like the location as it is conveniently located at the hotel where we were staying.
Went fir Xi
Service was slow. Steak was over cooked. First negative experience here.
Everything tasted like fish!
Cross cooked chicken, fries onion rings all in the same grease.
Lemon…. Hope you like it because the food is drowning in lemon.
My husbands steak tasted okay
Disappointed that we spent $288.00 and consumed no adult beverages at that price, and I left hungry.
Our experiences at the Saratoga Springs Morton's Steakhouse have never disappointed. From initial greeting, through ordering and receipt of our delicious appetizer, entrees and dessert to delivery of our check, the service is seamless and outstanding. Never had a bad meal or experience which is why we keep coming back!
Never disappoints! Best steak, atmosphere and service
