   We had a delicious range of cocktails from every section of Mother’s new menu. Really recommend having a dialogue with the folks at Mother as they’re always happy to chat and will never lead you astray.

   Incredible food, drinks, and atmosphere. Matt, our bartender, was incredibly skilled and knowledgeable about the craft of cocktail making. Watching the bartenders is a spectacle, and the drinks are beautifully complex.

    The service was great! I loved how our server took the time to explain each drink as well as make suggestions based off of our individual tastes. The drinks tasted amazing and you can taste all of the undertones of the drink. That along with the ingredients it came with on the side made it a really cool experience!

    We had an excellent experience last night at Mother. We sat at the bar which offered us an intimate experience and the ability to ask the bartender questions and advice on all of the cocktails. I wish I remembered her name but she was wonderful - professional, kind, informative and fun! We will be back.

    Outstanding cocktail bar. Was my first time in Toronto and had a great experience here. Cool vibe, wonderful service and memorable drinks. I was in town for work, but I think this would be an excellent date spot.

    Amazing experience. Drinks were so lovely. The bartenders are very talented and charming. Cheers to James. Such an charming person and amazing bartender. I was suggested two drinks that I loved. And one if them was a his pick and I was surprised how well made it was to suit my taste. Very satisfied with the experience. Thank to james and rest of the staff for such a wonderful evening.

    Really nice cocktail bar with some good bites as well. The service is incredible from start to finish. They will customize a cocktail to your liking and everything we tried was a hit. Definitely recommend for any occasion!

    Very nice no complaints. They take themselves just a bit too seriously with the whole ‘this cocktail was inspired by rain’ BS. I think the servers have to get high before they explain the menu with a straight face. Not much to eat. Overall good

    There was a plumbing vent odour that was extremely unpleasant in the restaurant. I shouldn’t have to smell noxious gas while enjoying a meal and drinks. A repair should be addressed immediately. Aside from that our server did extremely well and food and drinks were great.

    An average experience. Gimmicky accessories accompany high quality drinks; no extra flair is needed to showcase the bartender’s talents. Food overpriced and of average quality. Decor is lovely and soundtrack/vibe good. There’s too much going on at once.

    Have been here twice and both times were exceptional. Amazing cocktails and delicious food (have to try the burger!) will keep bringing me back. The service was on point despite being St. Paddy's Day and our server was really attentive and super friendly. This should be on your permanent list of go-to cocktail bars in T.O.
