   Have been here twice and both times were exceptional. Amazing cocktails and delicious food (have to try the burger!) will keep bringing me back. The service was on point despite being St. Paddy's Day and our server was really attentive and super friendly. This should be on your permanent list of go-to cocktail bars in T.O.

   Food and drinks were amazing! They even gave us the bday dessert as complimentary. There was just a small disappointing part where 30 minutes before the 2 hour of our stay, they started reminding us every 5 to 10 minutes to wrap it up because the next reservation was already waiting. We didn’t really get to finish our food and drinks.

   I loved the atmosphere and ambiance. The servers were extremely friendly and polite. Food was great too!

Our Pina Colada was inspired by the Founder Massi's personal life experience, where he lived and bartended at Sri Lanka with his wife and daughter. That's why the description "A winter journey to Sri Lanka". The new ingredient Chai was only added for the winter version and we did not intend to associated Chai with Sri Lanka at all. I fixed the typo on the website 2 weeks ago and will do so for the menu soon. Thank you SO much!

   We liked the experience but price wise it was not really worth it. The drinks were really interesting and tasty but very small quantity. The bread we ordered was fair priced and really delicious. Sitting by the window you could feel the cold air rushing in which lowered our experience.

    Best cocktail bar in Toronto. Amazing cocktails and fantastic food. The bartenders here are incredible and you can see the passion they have for what they put in a glass. Going to Mother is an experience!

    It was our first visit and while the drinks and the food were amazing, the way we were rushed out of the place was dissapointing. The waiter was trying to help us but the conceirge/table manager was a bit rude and wasnt very nice. I wish this experience was different since the place itself is quite unique and can be made more likeable with better service and more hospitality.

    Great place! Loved the ambient atmosphere! Is definitely a loud place but then again it’s a cocktail bar. Wide range of cocktail options and can tell that the bartender is talented. Waitress was sweet and everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves. Will come back! Reservations are mostly likely the only way to get seats though FYI.

    Cocktails were outstanding as anticipated. I got the Claire de Lune and a custom drink with prompt: "whiskey based, I like bitter notes, and had a rough day". Food was nice, especially appreciated the shrimp chip with beef tartar (childhood memories of Asian roasted pigeon chips) and the karaage served with an interesting fermented pineapple sauce. Only disappointing dish was the matcha creme brulee: custard not smooth enough, matcha flavour didn't really come through, too much salt (although I appreciate that it was there), and the ube meringue didn't really do much for the dish. I'm not much of a dessert guy anyway, so we were happy to ignore the last dish... We had a great time and would definitely come back!

    I have been to this bar a few times and was disappointed with the food this time around. It didn’t taste good and we even ended up returning some seafood items as it was really over cooked and I don’t think was fresh.

    Mother is a cute, intimate space to try out specialty cocktails. They focus on in-house fermentation and have unique combinations of ingredients in their drinks. I went on a Tuesday night and had live music playing - the musician was amazing! The service was also very attentive. Would highly recommend for a date night 😊

    Pricey. Customer's service tip top. All drinks are on the menu. Taste great! the only downside is that it's pricey and we have only 2 hours top on the reservation! I wouldn't mind that.

    Despite I had a confirmed reservation the place was closed! I find it quiet aggressive to have to leave a credit card number to assure the reservation and that you don’t even bother to set up correctly OpenTable to your schedules!

    great cocktail bar, so many interesting flavours and palettes to choose from. the octopus tacos were so good we got another order right after finishing our first plate. great time with great drinks - highly recommend crafting your own drink, mixologists know what they’re doing.
