About Mott 32 @ Trump International Hotel & Tower ® - Vancouver
Mott 32 is named after 32 Mott Street in New York City. 32 Mott St. was the first ever Chinese convenience store to open in 1851 and was the nucleus for what is now a vibrant Chinatown in one of the most exciting cities in the world. Our cooking is principally Cantonese with some signature Sichuan and Beijing dishes. Our custom industrial duck oven and special air-drying duck fridge is a central feature of the restaurant. We roast ducks both in the Cantonese and Beijing method with our Peking duck only available for dinner and by pre-order only.

Mott 32 @ Trump International Hotel & Tower ® - Vancouver Ratings and Reviews
Exquisite service and fabulous service from gracious and attentive staff.
If I could describe this dining experience in one word, it would be WOW. We decided to do Mott 32 on our last night in Vancouver based upon a recommendation from our friend. We preordered a duck and iberico chashu pork (so worth it) and ordered the wagyu beef cheek per the recommendation of the bartender in the hotel lobby. Not only was the service impeccable but it was one of the top 3 dining experiences I have ever had. We ordered 4 desserts and I must say, they were all worth it. My boyfriend loved the mango soup (per the recommendation of what I am assuming to be a manager) and I killed the panna cotta, soy sauce ice cream and chocolate dessert. We probably ordered enough for 4 people but had some food left over for a late night snack. This was one of the greatest dining experiences we have had and loved this restaurant. We highly recommend it and are so glad we chose this place to be the way to end our trip.
So dark inside
Service is good
Food is hit or average
Perking Duck is average but chef has amazing cutting skills
The rice soup is really good
Other food are average
An unforgettable dining experience! Robert and Vivian went the extra mile to ensure our experience was first class.
good service and fresh dessert🤗
The food is an explosion of flavours. The service is excellent. The drinks are unique. It's extremely expensive but totally worth it.
Amazing service, food wasn’t worth the premium pricing. Would recommend to anyone looking to have interactive dining experience.
Spent my Christmas night here to celebrate both my mother’s belated birthday and Christmas. Excellent service, great food, awesome vibe!
Will definitely comeback!
Everything was great other than we had our reservation and got there early around 6pm they told us come back at 6:15 and when we came back they said there was a delay so we have to wait 30 more minutes ( without any apologizing from the host)
Otherwise food was great our server was great and excellent beer and champagne recommendations
Peking duck was amazing
Not enough staff. The server was good but one waiter was serving too many people. We end up didn’t get much service or had to wait too long.
The food was good but there is no surprise for the price we paid.
The food and drink were spectacular. Their version of shanghai soup dumplings with spicy broth was to die for and the Hanami cocktail was superb. Other good items were the signature baked pork buns and chive dumplings. The only downside was I felt everything was a bit overpriced for the quantity you got.
Wait for over an hour for the Peking Duck. The host did not tell me how long the wait for Peking duck was one day before when I confirmed my reservation with them. When we were seated, I was told I would need to wait for 30 minutes. Even though it was a bit rush for my next appointment, I accepted 30 minutes wait. However we waited for over 70 minutes. Broken process and bad management. Hope they can review and improve their work process.
Fantastic meal, very impressive service. It was very quiet in the restaurant though.
Went for a dinner with my Dad. I love the Chinese fusion style. My favorite dish was actually their dessert! So make sure to save some space of your stomach for that. I ordered the chocolate sphere and the panna cotta with soy sauce icecream. The soy sauce icecream has a very interesting flavor but still tastes really good! Also tip: make sure to reserve a Peking duck at least one day earlier if you wanna order that. I really wanted to try the Peking roasted duck but I didn’t know I had to pre-order:(
Great Asian fusion dishes at reasonable price. Perfect place for everyday dinning if you are a fan of good Chinese food
We're made to feel extremely special each time we're here. The food and service are both outstanding. Highly, highly recommended. Need we say more?
Awesome service. Food quality exceptional. This is not Trumps place this place belongs to every lucky patron that walks through its door to an experience unlike most in the City. Highly recommend... Eric, Robert, Mo and team are great at steering a highly dedicated group. Being able to see the kitchen and culinary staff at work was pure entertainment
Food absolutely amazing. Each dish was so dynamic. The duck spring rolls and shanghai soup dumplings are a must to start with. 100% will go back and Lucia, the assistant manager, could not have been more welcoming and professional!
Restaurant wasn’t busy, many servers running around, don’t know who is our waiter. Served wrong drink. Two Credit card machine did not work. Third one finally worked. After taking order, never saw waiter again. Had to grab other waiters. Kitchen staff made good food.
Was very impressed with the ambiance, the very friendly and helpful way that staff treated us, and the food was delicious.
My husband and I frequently eat Asian food when we travel. The food at Mott 32 was, by far the best Asian food we have ever been served! The service was second to none as well.
We came here for our anniversary. From the beginning of the dinner until the very end, our server Shane was very attentive and professional. He was knowledgeable of the menu and made excellent recommendations. We were blown away by the BBQ Iberico Pork and Kurabuta Pork with radish cake. The dishes were unique and flavourful. The price was definitely worth the quality of food served. We will definitely visit again!
Good service. But way overprice. $150 for 4 dim sum and a dessert. Not worth it.
Good food and nice atmosphere. The lobster rice was very tasty.
We were there celebrating a birthday and we received a wonderful welcome. The Pekinese Duck was delicious and the cocktails were great. Service has been amazing.
If I have to point out what I didn't like, the place was not well though in terms of sound spreading, it became very noisy once tables got filled. Also I do not expect crying babies in a fancy restaurant, if I was on the management side, I would reconsider their policy on admission at least for dinner time. Staff was extremely supportive when happened, but it just shouldn't be on them having to deal with it.
We were really looking forward to having dinner here but it was such a disappointment. I can think of at least two other restaurants in Vancouver that serve better Peking Duck and at a much lower price. The BBQ pork was even more ridiculous. Our waitress was nice but it was so weird that she only addressed one person at our table and basically ignored everyone else. The decor of the restaurant was very nice so it's worth one visit for sure. I would recommend to sticking with dishes on their menu that don't require reserving.
food is not that delicious, but the service and environment is good
Everything was really good, especially the food, however the bathrooms were a bit bizarre. As I came out of the unisex washroom, some man stared at me strangely.
Amazing!! Would have truly missed out had we left Vancouver and not dined here.
We all agreed it was one of our top 3 culinary experiences from NYC to SF and abroad.
PLEASE come to Atlanta! We could desperately use an up-scale dim sum to round out our city that is growing leaps and bounds on the food front!
Thank you for impeccable service, and smoked cod we will be talking about for a lifetime!
The Peking duck was good-highly recommend-, but one waitress at the entrance was not kind. Although she made me annoying, the others' services were good. Thus, I could bare her rudeness.
Fantastic food Dim sum fantastic A bit pricey eg cup hot sour soup $17can But Worth a splurge
Value is all relative . No set rule , 5 stars place with 5 stars price. It’s all good
Good customer services, took my bf to mott32 for the first time and the food is good..
Come here a lot!
Good food and good service
Food was just ok. You can get lot better authentic Chinese food in other Chinese restaurants for a fraction of the price. Service was just ok too. Took 45 minutes to have the Roasted Peking duck ready even though it was preordered. Won’t go back for sure.
The service was exemplary! Great attention to detail and the server made very good suggestions based on my preferences.
We preordered the Peking Duck and it was delicious. We made a reservation and had to back the time up which they were very accommodating. The food, food presentation and open kitchen were all outstanding. The wine Sommelier was funny and spot on with his selection of local wine. We ordered so many delicious items, you must try everything. Our server Eva was great, until the end when it was time for our check she disappeared to do her closing duties and kind of forgot about us for about 15 minutes but that did not ruin the experience. I would highly recommend dining here, you won't be disappointed.
