This was the best dinner both my boyfriend and I have ever had! Delicious and elegant, perfect for a wedding 😜 Can’t recommend this restaurant enough. The atmosphere and vibes, let alone the views make it a perfectly romantic evening.

Fantastic location to have an excellent meal food lovely only down side on the night service slow then gave up bill before our dessert which they seem to have forgot as we had to ask for it. 10/10 for location and ambience.

We've ate here many times in the past and have always raved about it. Last night was a major disappointment, from the food quality to the overall service. The duck was ordered medium rare and came raw on one side and well done on the other side to the point red duck juice was all over the bottom of the dish. The chicken was very tender but rather bland. When we brought our issues to the server, we were informed that's the way things were supposed to be cooked and they wouldn't do anything. Next morning we had breakfast at the restaurant and they now only have a buffet and all the hot dishes were cold and we were told it was due to heating issues in the building and they couldn't keep the food warm. The quality level at the overall lodge has gone down drastically so we won't be back as the food was the only thing that kept us coming back.

Our Server was Lisa, a lovely young lady who made the evening very special by being prompt, amiable and caring of my gluten free specific needs. The Alberta Beef was delicious, the vegetables good except the carrot, that did not see the boiling water long enough. Although the view was nil, the ambience was pleasant and we are returning this evening.

Had dinner 2 nights and both times the food was wonderful. Totally delicious meals both nights. Service was fantastic and the views are simply gorgeous. Best way for both of us to celebrate our birthdays. Thanks to staff and chef for 2 wonderful evening's.

Fantastic restaurant to enjoy wonderful food. The Salmon soup was out of this world and the bison and elk steak was an interesting eat. The staff made you feel at home and you can easily end up eating to much.

Probably my favorite restaurant for my whole trip to Banff and Jasper! The food was sustainably raised game meat! Fine dining at its best! A beautiful lake side table with a view unsurpassed! Five star chef, with five star food!

The food was wonderful. However we had to wait for an hour after ordering to receive our meal, and we'd only ordered a main meal. We were told not to come to the dining room any earlier as we'd probably have a long wait for our meal. It didn't make any difference as we still had a long wait to have our meal served. It was a shame, as it did effect our overall experience of our dining experience.

Unfortunately not a great dining experience . When we sat down it took approximately 30 minutes to get water for our table . Appetizers were very delicious however when my wife’s steak came out it was under cooked. Instead of sending another one they “warmed” it up which resulted in the glaze burning and did not cook the inside to the medium she had requested . So they sent it back for a second time to try and get the correct cook on the meat .

Great food in a stunning setting. We dined here 2 nights and I had the Elk and then the Buffalo, both of which were very good. The vegan tiramisu is not tiramisu, more a chocolate nut layer cake - would have benefited from some sauce or other accompaniment. Service a little slow to start but otherwise fine.

When entering info into OpenTable I put down Anniversary for special occasion and nothing was said or done, didn’t even get a good table. Not the first time I have had this issue so disappointing for sure.

Dinner was very good. Service was good as well. For some reason the person who seats you keep walking us over to a inferior table even though the good tables was empty. We didn’t appreciate this and felt discriminated. Breakfast is another matter. Complete garbage. The Lodge should be embarrassed serving this sub par food. Avoid Breakfast if possible.

The Mount Burgess Dining room offers interesting Canadian fare with beautiful views of Emerald Lake. The service at the restaurant was not very professional or particularly knowledgeable. I would not go out of my way to dine here again, but the location for Emerald Lake Lodge make it hard to beat for at least one on-site meal.
