Mour Cocina has FANTASTIC service, a beautiful interior, and creative food concepts with unique twists on standard dishes and stunning presentation but lacks flavor on the main dishes... desserts are on point though! SERVICE - The hostess got us seated right away and our server, Dylan, was phenomenal! He came by right away, had a great personality, always made sure we had enough water, and was extremely attentive. PRICING - Pretty fair for the large portion size you get... certainly not the cheapest brunch option but also not the most expensive. For the quality of ingredients they use, I think it's reasonable. SHAKSHUKA (8/10) - I didn't see many reviews on this but I think it's an underrated dish at Mour! It was sweet with the smallest hint of spice and all the flavors worked well together. DUCK AND GRITS (6/10) - This was the dish I was most excited for and unfortunately enjoyed the least. It gets points for creativity, but it really lacks in the flavor department. The duck was tender and and mascarpone cheese grits were good but I would have loved more grits to mix with the pumpkin seed mole verde because the mole verde barely had any flavor. The dish looks STUNNING but it doesn't taste nearly as good as it looks which is a big bummer. CHICKEN FLAUTAS (7/10) - The flautas were super crispy and had a great texture but the chicken inside had minimal flavor... I'm not sure it was even seasoned with salt. The curry and basmati rice were delicious and the feta paired nicely with them. TRES LECHES CAKE (10/10) - The unexpected hero of the entire meal! We ordered this on a whim and it was our favorite item! It's served as a traditional cake slice as opposed to the usual square shape but the cake was incredibly light and the sweetness was right on the edge of being too much without going over. The icing on the cake along with the whipped cream, fruit spread, and few blueberries created a nice balance. I'd come back for this cake alone!

Incredible. The Bodega had that latin feel to it and made me feel at home with a pour of upscale dining. Jackson is PHENOMENAL! He made our first visit warming and enjoyable.

If i could not give them any stars, i would. We waiting over an hour for pancakes, our sever never checked up on us until 45 min after she took our order to tell us they would be out shortly. Meanwhile, the table of 10 next to us receiver their appetizers and entrees. It wasn’t until after they realized how long we were waiting the manager came to tell us it wouldn’t be much longer. Keep in mind we only had one refill for the 2 hours we were there.

Great neighborhood restaurant with limited but eclectic menu. We were there at happy hour and were told bottles of wine on the happy hour menu were half price, but with the original markup being on the high side, half price seemed about right. One would be better off buying a bottle of wine in the store attached to the restaurant, which they allow customers to bring to their table. Service was very efficient. Noise level started to get a bit high as the restaurant filled up.

We ordered Pork Belly Fried Rice and their steak and eggs from their brunch menu. They were also celebrating Mexico's Independence Day that day and they have this special menu. We tried the bone marrow, which is a lil bland and nothing special with it. I already ate here several times but this was my first time for their brunch menu. Our server Elsie was very attentive and kind btw. She was amazing. Coffee was really good too, always and always!

This is a hidden gem and well worth a visit. The space and atmosphere is great and the service is fantastic. We went for a work lunch and one colleague in our group had a birthday and the staff went out of their way to wish her Happy Birthday and bought out a card and a special desert. The food is great, the watermelon salad was especially lovely. It is also great value, they have an eclectic menu and parking in the retail garage behind the building is super convenient.

Excellent in every way. Fabulous food, friendly staff, easy parking, a beautiful space and best of all, not too loud! We were able to have a leisurely brunch without being rushed. Mour Cafe has been added to my list of Austin favorites.

Our waitress messed up our appetizer order and couldn’t remember our drinks either, because she didn’t write anything down. Our food came very late and when we were ready to pay and leave, she was nowhere to be found and I had to ask bar staff for the check.

Armando was amazing! We came in for a last minute birthday celebration and they had a handwritten card from the staff when we sat down, how personable!! The truffle fries are incredible and I had an orange wine they had by the glass which you don't see at most restaurants. I ordered a seasonal smoked salmon dish, and I never send food back but they substituted for the poke bowl which I loved. They came out with a tres leches cake for desert and the staff actually came out and sang happy birthday! I was in awe of the food and services here and will definitely be recommending this place.

Nice surprise of a restaurant. I liked the diversity of the menu, everything from pseudo-Mexican food to Indian. And all of it very tasty and well done. It’s interesting that they have a little market attached. The only downside we could come up with was the odd behavior of our server. He kept trying to take plates from us before we were even finished with our meals. We had to tell him that we were still working on our food at least twice.

Mour Cafe is our go-to spot before flying out of ABI. It’s always perfect. They did an especially great job on this occasion accommodating a last minute reservation and a tight timeline to get to the airport… oh, and the food is to die for. Best pork belly fried rice around.

This was our first time at Mour Cafe and they hit it out of the park! Really happy to have found this spot. It was busy, but not a nightmare to get a pretty last minute table for Mother's Day. We sat on the outdoor patio, and it was raining off and on for a bit while we were there, but it never bothered us as they had a good polycarbonate top to their covered patio. The food was all very good, though I probably wouldn't come here for the tacos again as that it seems the other food offerings were really the stars of the show. The service was friendly, fast and on point through and through. We will be coming back for sure!

Great intimate locals spot with a solid kitchen and an aspirational vibe. The “pick your own water and wine “ approach is cool as their selection is informed, fairly broad and reasonably priced. A bit noisy but great for a mid week meal.

We went there for valentines day! I called the day before and i was told that they have a candle lit special valentines vibe with pre fix menu but we can still order from limited items on regular menu, they said the violinist would circle around so everyone, even people sitting outside could enjoy the music. But none of these were true. There was not even a single candle on our table, violinist was only at her station inside so we didn’t hear or saw her for a second, they didn’t let us order from the menu! These were only reasons that we chose that restaurant and they were all lies. We ended up stating because we didn’t wanna ruin our night. It was all you can eat for 80$ per person. But you could only order 3 dish at a time and the dishes were one bite portion and was taking so long to actually get the food so each time we would eat a bite then wait for 15 mins to get something else. And the food itself was pretty average nothing actually stand out and for 80$ was VERY OVERPRICED. All in all definitely didn’t worth the amount that we spent last night and we could have had much better experience somewhere else. The lady who was serving us was a nice lady though .
