I took my friends at this restaurant on Wed from 2pm -3:30ish. It was supposed to be happy hour but we got charged regular price. When we mentioned to the server, she said the prices are supposed to get adjusted automatically by the computer and asked us if we want to talk to the manager about it. Why would she even give us that option? She should have taken our bill and speak to her manager instead. We said forget it. We also felt rushed when she said her shift is over and gave us the option to either settle with her now or she can transfer us to another server. Again, why would she even give us that option? She should have just transferred us to another server. Very disappointing. I used to be a regular at this restaurant but it has gone downhill. Will find another restaurant next time.

Surprise birthday and sent instruction to open table for a slice of cake with candle for a table of 6. Spoke to Justin Hall over the phone and confirmed all would be done. Birthday dessert would be on house per Justin. Reservation for 8pm but table was ready around 8:25 but was kept informed by Justin that would be a few minutes late. Birthday celebrant was in the car waiting with his cousin as others waited inside to be seated first as a surprise for the celebrant. Server appeared to be not upbeat. Ordered 6 water with lemon and 3 appetizers, 2 calamari and 1 nachos. 6 water came and a dish of 3 lemon slices only. Had only 5 wet naps for table of 6. I guessed we would have to fight for the lemons and wet naps? Had to request more lemons. 3 steaks and 3 chicken pasta. Lack of sauce on all the 3 pasta dishes. Steaks were great. No offer of refills of water. Were very thirsty. Food services were great but server lacks attentiveness. Had to remind server regarding my instructions left and we ordered desserts as she appeared uninformed. We purposely asked the celebrant to share a lime pie with me as I knew he was to get the house compliment dessert with candle. Ordered 2 white brownie and 1 lime pie. 3 desserts came instead of 4. server used one of white brownie as a complimentary item. Server appeared to spend more time in the kitchen then at the dining table areas. Thus I didn't bother to ask for the missing dessert or refill of water or coffee or tea. Waited for a long time to ask for the bill. i had to stand up and waived at her for the bill. Overall service was really poor and food was ok. Spent over $250. Open table didn't work well as we had to wait for about 25 minutes. Should have gone to the Keg.

The food, overall was excellent. A portion of my chicken breast was a little under done, but the rest of my meal was delicious. I expect this could happen at any restaurant, and my kids got a free dessert. I've been to Moxie's a few times and it's always good.

My son is celiac (severe gluten allergy) and there just aren’t too many options on the menu that he can have. Would be nice if there were more and better options. We’ve been to Moxies with him a few time and he is frustrated that he ends up with the same thing every time - burger on a gluten-free bun. With the array of gluten-free products available could the kitchen staff not develop sandwiches on gluten-free breads, fish & chips, fried chicken using gluten-free flour etc. etc.

I always like Moxies but the patio could use more lights at this location, it was too dark that at 10pm we were the only ones sitting there. Food is always good but the cappuccino machine must have broken down because my cappuccino was half a cup and no foam at all :( Anyways good service overall Thank you

The restaurant was empty yet our service was lit existent. I started with a glass of wine. It wasn’t available so they Poured me something completely different not even the same type of wine and without even coming back to ask me. Getting another glass took 15 mins again with hardly any tables occupied. They even Then put it on the bill. .(punched in as what I ordered but didn’t get). Really. I had the beef dip which was horrible. Barely any meat and looked like the end pieces of leftovers. My wife had the asparagus pasta that was bland.

The steak was very tough, and seemed to be a poor cut (New York). I had to take multiple pieces out of my mouth that were almost rock hard in spots (possibly fat or something?), and I couldn’t actually get my teeth trough it.

We sat at the patio in the early evening temperature was cool and while all the staff were quite nice and friendly the food was rather mediocre and tasteless. The seat cushions were soil with bird droppings, the cement floors needed a wash, big floor planters with no plants, fireplace not on, ambiance lighting not on, no music. So much potential 😩

The service was amazing, our waitress Sarah was super nice and friendly. The food however wasn't as expected, we had 4 main courses and 2 Appetizers, and none of the dishes met the expectations. Will not consider this place for food again.... maybe will visit for drinks only!

My Thai salad was terrible, wilted lettuce avocado and not much else. The others enjoyed their beef dip.

Waiter did not come to us for over 20 minutes. I had to go find someone to take our order. Once the manger took our order, everything else went fine.
