We have always had great experience at Moxies in the past, but yesterday evening was a huge disappointment. My husband ordered the Beef Dip and the beef was served with tons of gristle and a mysterious white sauce on top. It was inedible. There must be a new chef because even the chicken lettuce wraps were different in taste and texture. The server was amazing and the manager did come to the table to hear our concerns. They did make amends to our satisfaction.

I had a great time at moxies. I had a reservation so we were seated right upon arrival. Our server was very nice. As a starter we had the feta and tomatoes and it was very tasty. For my main I had the rigatoni with wine sauce without the meat. Also very well made. Portions were good as-well. For dessert we had the white chocolate brownie which is my family’s favourite. We get it every time. We asked for no whip cream and instead a double scoop of ice cream but we got whip cream and not a double scoop. I understand that servers are busy and it was a small mistake. I just mentioned it to her at the end and she offered to replace it. I didn’t think that was necessary because it was still delicious. Overall pretty good experience!

From the beginning, we did not have a good experience at this location. There was a moment where we asked out loud if we even had a server because we were seated and waiting for quite a while before anyone came to introduce themselves and take any orders. Once someone finally did come there wasn’t an acknowledgment that we had been there a while. We event saw a table walk out because they ordered and waited forever for their food. The portion size for the calamari we ordered to start was VERY small and not worth the price (we have been here before and the portion used to be shareable, now it’s an app for one). I got their chicken lettuce wraps and the chicken was pretty salty but I didn’t bother bringing it up because I waited so long to order and eat already. My biggest issue was with the truffle fries. I got maybe a quarter of the way through when I realized that there was no truffle on the fries. I asked the server to grab truffle oil that I could just put on myself he came back and notified me that the kitchen was actually out of truffle oil and that’s why there was no truffle oil on the fries… Very odd to me that upon ordering, I wasn’t notified of this or even after before making it they didn’t say anything so I could have ordered something else. There was no real recourse, I didn’t finish the fries and I had to request that it was taken off of my bill. This isn’t the first time we have had a mediocre meal here but it is the last time because we will not be returning.

The food was subpar, almost regretted ordering the shrimp tacos that came along with stale guacamole and extremely tangy sour tasting salsa that overpowered even when a drop was poured on the tacos My partner ordered the bacon cheeseburger and the server was puzzled what he was ordering, only realizing later its a new item on the menu, which again compared to a fastfood burger did not live up to the price tag of $23+. The add on truffle fries with parm did not even have any truffle and tasted like frozen fries with bottled parm added hastly on top. Overall, I will not consider going back at this location as the food did not live up to previous experiences and basically ruined our evening. Could not justify spending 50+ per person overall with just 1 drink and 1 main

Our server was great. The manager not so great. We were turned away despite the fact that the restaurant was empty. He said that they were fully booked. We went outside booked a reservation on OpenTable and walked back in for dinner. It totally ruined our mood for dinner that night.
