Great service good ambiance the food is just good nothing special.
Everything is good except the food. Ordered the seared tuna salad, the tuna pieces is soooo small and thin compared with other average restaurant. It is like around 3 cm in length while most place is at least 5 cm in length. Also hardly green. Very disappointed. Expected better than that from Moxie's.
Excellent friendly and prompt service (from Andrew) comparing to our previous experiences. Other than food, service is considered important. We totally enjoyed our lunch!
Our waitress was amazing! The food was great and very accommodating. It was a bit noisy as it was busy but later on it was much better. Only recommendation was the hosts wgen you walk in should be more aware $ attentive to customers comin in. Will definitely return loved it!!
Red curry chicken was extremely bad. 3 people ordered it, 1 returned it for a nice club sandwich. Other 2 people told me that they would never order the red curry again.
My burger was great. Nothing special done for the birthday girl or even any kind of acknowledgement.
Had a great time. Service was perfect. Will be back for sure!!!
Really lovely service and everything was beautifully presented and fresh. This is the only “chain” I like.
We had an excellent experience. There were 4 of us and we each ordered a different meal. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. The service was excellent. We had a gift certificate from the Manager because of a previous issue and we are very glad we came back. Thanks for a lovely evening.
The Hostess was very somber. She showed us to our table and soon after a girl came to take our drink order she disappeared and then a second girl came along for the same purpose. The noise level was through the roof but did subside considerably after the 12:00 crowd started to leave. The food did arrive in a timely fashion, probably due to our ordering after the rush was over (around 1:30). The other guys seemed to like their orders, mine was not very good. I had the beef dip with au jus on the side. It was probably my fault for ordering it in the first place because it did say it came with mushrooms, horse radish, and some kind of cheese. There was probably as many mushrooms as shaved beef. I really do not like mushrooms. I could hardly taste the beef and it was not very tender or lean. The sandwich was served on a paper napkin of sorts which was to absorb the runniness caused by the horse radish and mushrooms. It was even too messy to dip in the au jus sauce. I barely finished half the sandwich and then gave up. We had trouble ordering a second drink and in the end we had trouble finding someone to do our bills. It was almost as if the entire staff were taking a break during the lull which ensued after the 12:00 crown had left. There were staff members sitting in tables beside or behind us who appeared to be just sitting there. No attempt was made to attend to our needs. All in all, not a very good experience and I dare say we will likely not return.
Omelette was tasteless and spongy.. we had to constantly call the server to take our order or ask for things forgotten.. but he then would randomly just keep serving glasses upon glasses of water.. inconsistent service and disappointing food
This location is fire, keep up the great Ambiance, Food, and Customer service. EZ 👃🔥🔥
Wasn’t what I normally get from this moxies
My friends and I had an amazing time celebrating my birthday thanks to the staff. Our waiter Nate was so nice and personable, he enriched our experience. The entire staff was welcoming and I will recommend this location and definitely visit again.
I drove in from Burlington to meet a friend for lunch.
I felt welcomed when I was greeted at the door ... parking was easy ... getting from Burlington was easy ... service was very good ... quick to provide drinks, deliver food and then clear table as dishes were emptied ... food was very tasty ... pleased that we were left to enjoy our visit after we had finished our meal and did not feel rushed to leave ... too bad we don't have one in Burlington ... but will look at going to the one in Stoney Creek.
Just want to have Thanksgiving dinner with parents.
We had such an enjoyable evening at Moxie’s! We booked a table with two of our best friends. Love the ambiance, so cozy and intimate. The house wine is always delicious and two of our group had the house red, and one of us had the house white. All delicious. The food was delicious and we always appreciate the excellent staff who go,out of their way to make the evening enjoyable.
Strongly recommends Moxie’s for a relaxing evening out with delicious food.
It was ok, but the food was cold. We still had to wait a long time before the food came.
For some reasons, we have not got very good services for the past couple of dining. Hope we'll have better luck next time.
The food is ok, what's f awesome is the service specially the two sisters that are very sweet and attentive. Would come back every week just to talk to them
Food quality was only adequate. My burrito was poorly seasoned, nut hot enough and ‘gluey’. Our server was good. Much too noisy. Large group very noisy - noisy beyond what I would have expected for its size.
Server Michael was very good. Very attentive and was successful in surprising me with an Arnold Palmer
The visit was great. The hostess seated us immediately even though I made a mistake with the reservation. Our waitress was friendly and efficient.
Had a wonderful dining experience here tonight!!! Service was prompt and the staff was friendly and efficient! Food was fresh and delicious! Really enjoyed the Bruschetta starter. Seating was spacious and comfortable. We noticed the outside patio while walking in and it also looked like a great place to sit...may be we'll hang out there during our next visit! Would definitely eat here again.
My steak dinner was served ice cold
Server was constantly upselling
Has gone downhill
great meal & great service.
loved the tuna poke (as always!)
Great location and we were able to watch the Raptors, baseball and other sports. Plus the wine list is quite good.
We have a party of 5 ppl. I ordered three Sirloin steak. It was very tough, very chewy. I didn't ask for an exchange but the waitress was nice enough to give me another steak. However this one was still tough. I could not eat it at all.
Food not worth the money.
Won't go back.
Great service. Good food..
AC was very high and two out of four chairs were broken
I have been to Moxie’s RH a few times and it has never disappointed me until today. The service was barely there (our waitress did warn us from the beginning that there has been a mix up of server for our table). But the night didn’t get any better as my, normally well prepared steak, was not season. My whole plate of food was not seasoned at all. Good thing I had my apps that did come well done (dry ribs). The lettuce for the ceasar salad was not well strained and thus the dressing was a bit runny. Overall not very happy today with my meal and we were celebrating my daughter graduation and recital completion. ... a bit of a damper. Nonetheless, my daughter was happy with her me. Waitress was nice but I’m not sure how much effort was put in to look after our table. ...
When it was time to pay for the bill, I wanted pay in cash so I presented the $100 bill to the server. When the server saw the $100 bill, she outright refused to take the bill stating that "I have no change for that honey! I can not take that!" I asked if she could check to see if there really was no change available for the bill but she rebuked at my request and demanded that I should pay with credit card. I requested that she should still check as I intended on paying with cash. She proceeded to tell me that I was 'rude' and reluctantly went away to check if change was available. Soon after she came back stating that there WAS change available at the bar and that she could take the cash as payment. Shouldn't she have checked this before refusing? As for the incident tonight, had there been any signs or indications that usage of $100 bill was not allowed, I would have accommodated accordingly. However in this incidence, I felt that the server should have checked before refusing the customer outright. Furthermore, the tone and the mannerism of her actions were extremely condescending and rude, providing for extremely unpleasant overall experience at Moxies. I was at Moxie’s as a friend’s birthday celebration and yet to end the night on a such negative experience was hugely disappointing!
Very polite staff but the food was so so.
New menu since the last time I was there. Good food and reasonable prices. Nice variety on the menu for all tastes.
Excellent service, great food and lively atmosphere!
It was good
It seemed a little pricey of $39 for a 3 course meal for Mother's Day. Food was tasty and served in a timely fashion for the busyness of the restaurant.
For a Mother’s Day you would think people would go over and beyond; however 25 minutes seated and not one greeting; had to flag a waiter who wasn’t attending our table to ask for drinks and complain. Our waitress didn’t even introduce her name (Maxine), we had to ask for refills of our beverages, didn’t even ask about deserts. Food was served by various people working there and None of them were personable- no one looked you in the eye. A bunch of robots not happy being there. Of the 8 people to came to service our table 3 should be employed there. One was the Manager (Tim) and two others. The lack of service was beyond terrible. I would have left a zero tip, since the service didn’t improve from the first complaint but Tim did comp our appetizers and he did apologize but they need a refresh of staff there
We went for Mother’s Day brunch and the menu was amazing ....we didn’t know you served brunch and were pleasantly surprised. Gannon was an amazing waiter. He took time to answer our questions and was very personable. Flowers were a nice touch for all the mothers.
