The service was excellent. Our server Kenisha was amazing. Unfortunately there was a hair in my food but she was great.
Great gluten-free menu and understanding of restrictions.
Good selection form main menu as well, plus that volcano kids dessert
Good Evening, Thank you for taking the time out of your day to provide us with such positive feedback from your experience. We are glad you enjoyed your time with us and that we could cater to your dietary needs. Looking forward to hosting you in the near future. Sincerely, Ashley Peck Manager Moxie's Pickering
Receptionist not familiar with the Open Table concept-again.
$11.50 for a kid's grilled cheese is ridiculous. Other prices are reasonable. Not recommended for lunch which includes children.
The food was delicious.
Fantastic service and staff have always great suggestions for drinks! Food is exceptional and always served warm!
Portions were small and overpriced for what you got. For example, the guacamole and chips came with a handful of chips and we had to ask for more twice.
Service was good. Staff was very polite and attentive.
On a busy night it was as expected. Service is normally slower on a Friday.
Celebrating a Birthday. We found the booth to be a little small for 4 people.
Excellent vibes.. just sitting closer to the bar was not a great idea for conversations. My next reservation for 2 I would request non bar side
We went for my birthday lunch today. When we arrived, the tables that were put together in the back corner of the room were not even height, so it was a little awkward sitting as a group. Our server was very sweet but was really slow... even just a pop took quite a while.
Food wasn’t anything special, burgers were lukewarm and burnt. The manager was kind enough to send a new one out but it took so long, the rest of the group had already had finished eating, and plates were cleared. They were nice enough to comp the burgers which I suppose they didn’t have to do...
Don’t think we will be returning... I left feeling rather disappointed.
Food and service was good. Music was a bit loud and not quite what I would call dinner music. It was more like party/dance music and even our server was having trouble hearing people.
Arrived on time and was seated promptly. The orders were taken however we advised when seated that we had to be out by 6.15. That seemed fine to them however the food delivery was slow and we were rushed at the end to meet our goal.
Excellent staff. Amazing food. Would definitely visit again.
Hello FARAHA, thank you for the wonderful review. It gives me great pleasure to hear you enjoyed your entire experience. Please come back and see us again. Stephen Johnson, General Manager
Reservations are a must . The atmosphere provides a great dining experience as tables are not too close together and noise level was adequate for conversation without yelling. Vegetables were not cooked and hard but steak was delicious. Overpriced for some items but I will go back
We always enjoy Moxie's. What made this night special was our server, Samantha. She was professional yet very friendly; attentive without being intrusive; exceptionally polite. The best server we have experienced in many, many years. Bravo!
Service needs to be improved-waiters seem stretched, despite our reservation being @ 4pm on a Sunday.
Table was not prepared-took 15 minutes after arrival to get it ready.
Very pleasant atmosphere , friendly staff and good food!
The staff at Moxie’s is the ult!! They are so accommodating and we really appreciated it! Both myself and my friend have allergies to a few foods and they double and triple checked each item we ordered to make sure we would be good - we jokingly told them they could call the ambulance and just park it outside if worse came to worse! Lol
The food was fantastic and the ambience perfect. My friend and I will be back soon!
Table booked on the Open Table concept-as is obvious from this request for feedback.
However points have not been recorded-which is not really surprising as neither the manager or staff were familiar with the arrangement.
Please arrange for these points to be posted to my account.
The only disappointment was that even thought I mentioned on the reservation that lunch was a birthday celebration and as we were seated asked who’s birthday it was it was not until later I was told by someone my guest should have been offered a birthday dessert. This suggests an inconsistent attitude.
Exceptional service as usual at the Pickering Moxie’s. Food was good too. Beef vindaloo, Herb Penne Pasta and kids burger were good, my lettuce bun burger was a bit overdone, but okay. Overall good experience. This is one of my favourite spots in Pickering.
Good food and good service!!
Just went through a brutal break-up and told Moxies my girls and I would be there for our reservation. They made games for us and gave us three free desserts. It warmed my heart so much. I will always keep going to Moxies.
Great. We come every Friday night.
When we got there, the resturant was full and they could not accommodate our 7:15 reservation. The staff was apologetic and did their best to get us seated, asap. The Manager came over, after we were seated, to apologize and offered us free dessert. Good Customer Service.
Server was odd, he tossed down the coasters as he introduced him. We asked for water and he brought one glass for four people. He kept reaching over the table or asking us to pass the dishes down even though there was room at either end of the table.
Meal was expense for the quality and serving size. One of our meals was way over cooked and very dry.
I made reservation for the dining room and was seated in the patio where it was initially cold and also the music was extremely loud to allow conversation. I asked twice if it could be turned down slightly but nothing was done. Waiter Riley was excellent. I would not return unless I could be seated in the dining room as requested.
Front desk staff were not courteous or helpful
Food was great as usual. Our waitress Angela was very attentive and had great customer service skills
Service and food was very good!
Service was great.
Very good experience. thank you for a very good time.
The food was great, the service was nice. The staff could be a bit more friendly, at times it was kind of awkward but I noticed the managers were very attentive and compensating. We had a good time overall.
Perfect for casual business appointment!!
Everything was as expected.
Food was great, service was slow...our reservation was for 6:30pm and we didn't get served our dinner until around 7:45pm! The table behind us left without eating because they were going to miss their movie, not cool. Nothing against the server herself as I know it's not her fault. Perhaps they should get in more servers for a busy Friday night.
My family of 10 attended the Pickering location to celebrate a birthday. I will begin by saying the food itself was good. However the staff was another story. They were polite and dressed nicely they all just didn’t care we sat waiting for 30 mins for our drink order or that we had no cutlery on the table, they didn’t clear dishes from our appetizers unless we asked they didn’t offer refills on drinks unless we asked. They didn’t even make eye contact. We felt as if we were bothering them. Even when Scott the manager came to apologize for the long wait on food we asked him about the water we ordered when we arrived that never showed. He sent one glass back to the table of 10. It took 20 minutes to refill a Pepsi. Beer took 30 minutes. Staff would drop something off and leave through the gated fence to go vape at the side of the building.
I personally have never visited a Moxies before and I can honestly say I will not any time soon.
The young lady that was hosting absolutely amazing. She is the only person we saw more then once that night.
Room for improvement all round.
Service can still be slow-and the burgers were all burnt on this occasion.
I love the relaxed feel of this place – I definitely would return to try more dishes. The Salmon Cobb Salad was amazing and made to perfection. The portion was very generous and the salmon was moist and flavourful. Service was well-timed and friendly. Never felt rushed from the time we arrived until the time we left.
It was my first time there and I will be adding this location to my list of favourites for dining out!
Told we could come at 5:15 - tons of room when we left . Taken to a dirty hot indoor solarium- horrible!!!we asked to move - asked very nicely . Eventually taken to a noisy table in the bar right by the door to the patio - terrible noisy / sunny / fans . We won’t be back $ 240 of wasted $$ Tried to make the best of it for the sake of the birthday person
