Dined at Moxies Pickering on Tuesday Sept 26th at 8pm, resturant was quite and empty. Service started out great, and proceeded to becoming a ghost town. No employees in site. Dinner came out fairly quickly which was nice. I ordered the rigatoni pasta which was so small… for the value and upward of nearly $27 I think I deserved a full plate of food…. I had 11 noodles mind you the noodles are larger however the plate was left looking rather sad. My friend ordered the mango chicken, that was next to disgusting in her words. Burnt chicken, and stale grains rice. We would have said something but like I said, ghost town. When he waitress came back, we were just offered the bill. She didn’t offer us a dessert menu or dessert what so ever so we took the bill that was offered and left. It’s a Tuesday- you aren’t busy the least you could have had was good food and good service. This isn’t the first time I’m experiencing poor service at pickering moxies but I guess this is what they’re going for now. Sad….

The food was good. The service a bit slow but the staff was friendly. The table wasn’t set up properly as I would have expected it to be since we had a reservation. No utensils on the table.. we had to ask for them when we got our food served. Maybe they were understaffed.. But overall experience was good.

Ordered the steak salad - medium. Toughest steak I’ve probably ever had unfortunately. Caesars we’re good at least. And so was the service. Overall, a forgettable experience typical of what I remember from a place like this. Don’t go for the food.

The spicy cashew cheese queso was absolutely amazing. I am really hoping they keep it as a long-term menu item. I will purchase it every time! Super enjoyable. I also really enjoy the blackened shrimp tacos & chimichurri steak salad; super great every time. Thanks for the great experience once again. Looking forward to coming back.

Moxie’s in Pickering is a fave of mine. From the apps to the mains and, of course, the sweets, they’re all delicious. Have never had anything I didn’t like. The variety of drinks is a bonus. The hosts are always welcoming and service staff exceptional, friendly and genuinely happy to make your visit pleasing. A great place to gather with friends or families.

Thé waiters were so great. Attentive but not overwhelming and they were very polite. The guacamole dip was not very good but we ate it anyways…way too strong on the onions. Everything else was great and love half priced bottles of vino. Cheers

Our sever Nash was extremely professional and is an asset to your restaurant. He was caring, friendly and very courteous to my friend and I during our luncheon. The cobb salad was delicious as was the tuna api.

Horrible service!!!! Here is a list of issues -hair on fork -steak knives brought after we started eating -no cutlery for dessert (got it ourselves) -was never asked for a refill on drinks -no toilet paper in women’s washroom -server was never there!!! We almost left multiple times because we would go 20-30 minutes without anyone asking us if we needed anything. Asked for our bill as soon as dessert came and it still took 20 minutes for the server to bring it. Really ruined the experience and our night out.

Perfect spot for a date in the glass enclosed patio dining section of the restaurant. The food was great. We had shrimp tacos, Chimichurri Steak Salad and Roasted Tomatoes & Whipped Feta. Our server was excellent. To start this fiesta was a tequila shooter and to end the night a movie.

We threw every allergy and modification possible and even the manager came out to see what table was making this poor guy’s first day the most challenging day ever! We were all super impressed with the care taken for each person’s dish. Wonderful experience and excellent service. Thanks everyone ♥️

Moxies is always a reliable and enjoyable dining experience. Having gone to the locations at PTC, STC and Fairview I can say the food is consistently good and the staff are well trained, friendly and professional. This restaurant is able to accommodate food allergies and preferences very well. As a vegan, their plant based options on the menu do not disappoint. I know I will be back time and again. Keep up the great job, your formula is working!

The server seemed scattered. She would ask if we needed anything and before we could even answer she quickly walked away. The calamari was rubbery and we didn’t finish it. The portions have definitely gotten smaller.

Lettuce wraps were a huge disappointment. There were 5 pieces for small chicken and full of cucumbers. Awful value for money. I have commented on this before.

Went out for Mother’s Day and it was very busy as we expected but it took over an hour to get our food from the time we finished our appetizer. When the food finally came out, my mom’s food wasn’t warm. She had a steak and mashed potatoes. They did reheat it but even that took longer than it should have and we had almost finished our own meals by then. Would still go back but for the money we expected a better overall experience.

It was Mother’s Day so we expected it to be busy but service was really slow— totally fine, again, busy day. However, we booked the experience and we were never offered that menu. Servers did their own thing, got one of our mains wrong. For the price you’re paying here, better to plan ahead and pick somewhere more accommodating for special occasions.
