Located in South Edmonton Common, Moxies restaurant is a great place for casual dining or a late night snack. Open late on Fridays and Saturdays, we offer a full bar with a bustling social scene and a spacious four-season patio. Food was horrible. Salmon was overcooked, chicken my daughter ordered was too chewy and hard. My wife dish was chicken and pasta however it was all pasta and hard to find any chicken. Chicken was too overcooked too. I complained to server and hostess in the front but they did not listen to my complaint or let Manager knew about my complaints. Manager must fire the server and chef. Waste of money!!

The waitress (Lila? I believe, she has ginger/ copper hair) was very slow, we felt forgotten about many times - she meant to bring us our bill and we waited over 30 minutes while she dealt with the tables beside us who came after us (clearing their plates, having them pay etc). It was also very loud inside, I felt like I had to yell at my guests who were across the table. Food was great & the restaurant is beautiful.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, from the door staff to the waitress everyone was great. The waitress was knowledgeable and very patient with us as it took us some time to decide what to order. At one point a group of rowdy girls came in and sat not too far, they were behaving obnoxiously and looking to party. The staff came over and very respectfully informed them that moxies isn’t that type of establishment which I thought was wonderful. A+ service and experience.

I’ve booked on open table from morning for 4pm reservations all for me to get there 4.05pm and I was told they still cleaning my table, got to the table I was told they cleaning and it was still a dirty table and I had to show the waitress and she went to grab a rag to clean it. Come the service, the starter was actually good cos I ordered the calamari, dry rub wings and dry rub ribs and they all came out good. We all ordered main course and all came out cold and lack seasoning especially the pasta I ordered for my daughter which is cream base, you can imagine how the cold one of it will look and taste like without seasoning and the waitress excuse is that cos it’s for kids they don’t put salt but I would have think they should season for it to taste good. 3 of the adults ordered 2 sirloin and one rib eye which all came out very cold and I had to return mine cos I don’t eat cold food and the mashed potatoe was already gluey and it was changed and when the one they change it to came it was good and hot. This was my experience and it was only me that enjoyed my meal after the dinner cos I had to make them change mine. I believe they can do better cos I’ve been to other moxies and their food always come out well, I would think this place need to do better or maybe cos they still new and I think they need to reduce the tables each of their waiters serve cos I had to be waving at the waiters before she comes to refill our drinks or take our orders and I think they struggling with lots of tables to one person.

Absolutely terrible service. Restaurant has been open for a couple months and none of the service links have been worked out. Manager on duty was useless and didn’t help train our waitress and our waitress was seated way too many tables. Food came out wrong, drinks were extremely delayed, overall service and management were terrible.
