Restaurant was not very busy but our waitress was not very attentive. Not sure if this is the new way of service after covid or not. The tip option minimum was 18% - that's ridiculous - tip options should go back to being the customers choice.

My family and I had a terrible experience at moxies. We made a reservation for standard dinner but instead were seating at the bar, which I then proceeded to tell my waitress that we wouldn’t be able to sit because we don’t drink and didn’t reserved that seating. She then told us there would be a wait for the table we wanted. My family and I were fasting and wanted to break our fast at moxies. And the time to break fast had come and we still weren’t seated. But they continued to seat other guests that came in after us. Hands down the worst experience. We didn’t get an apology for the inconvenience or anything. We not be returning there ever.

Food and drinks are overpriced here. It does taste very good but portion sizes at any moxies are lacking heavily. Service was alright but nothing extra that deserves a tip. The valentines experience for a 3 course meal for 2 was highly disappointing in terms of the menu that we did not even choose that and went with the regular menu.

The service after we sit was amazing but at the front desk not so much. Moxies made reservations for Valentine's day but was not being able to sit everyone because Thad the house full for the entire evening. So the same way that you have waiting list for people that didn't make a reservation, that day had a waiting list for everyone with reservation waiting for a table.

It is a nice modern place and the service was fast and friendly. We were a company of 4. We ordered 2 appetizers which were OK. I was disappointed with my burger, it was more of a fast food quality: small meat patty, smashed basic bun.. little toppings.. The same goes for the chicken sandwich ordered by us. For the 2 steak mains, they were average.. Overall it feels like the place has very average food quality but good ambience if you like modern busy atmosphere.

Last night was an episode of being constantly monitored and very bland, mostly prepackaged food. The manager and other walkie talkie people were staring down every table as they consistently walked by. We were made to feel like we were too long eating, when in actual fact, the service was extremely slow. The soup tasted like Campbells canned chicken noodle. The fettuccini Alfredo tasted like it came from a bag. Mango chipotle chicken had a charcoal taste, and the sweet potatoes were so overcooked they were like piles of mush. The steak was decent in texture, but overly salted. Caesar salad had barely any dressing. To top it off, the $20 pitcher of sangria was so full of ice that we barely got 2 5oz servings from it. If that's the way you are trying to make profit, don't even bother. As a family we have decided to never visit Moxie's again.
