   Four of us went for a casual dinner over Memorial Day weekend, and while the area was busy the restaurant was “dead”. Should have been a red flag. We sat down and started to place our order for drinks and starters. Ms Myers (?) our waitress was awesome. She helped us select some entrees and all was good. While waiting for our entrees we learned that they were out of french fries. No big deal. Swapped for a baked potato. Then five minutes later Ms Myers comes back to tell us that they were out of grits for shrimp and grits. Asked if they could swap mashed potatoes. You could tell she was embarrassed and maybe irritated with the kitchen. But it wasn’t her fault. If it wasn’t for Ms Myers service the rating would have been much lower. There are probably many better places to go in the area.

   Probably not their fault because of workforce shortages, but the food came out wrong and took forever. The food was really good! We had the salmon, pork chops and the burger. We all agreed this might be the best burger we’d ever had. As tempting as it may be to eat on the rooftop, don’t. The bar next door is so loud and they look over this dining space. Eat inside on the mezzanine. The view is lovely and it’s quieter.

   The restaurant is a little difficult to find once in the hotel. Once we located the restaurant the rooftop is a little small. At night it is dark and hard to see your food while eating. Also the food is just ok. The best thing we had was the shrimp and grits which was good. Everything else including drinks were ok. When we got our tickets to pay for our meal (party of 7) we paid individually. All our tickets prior to us paying did not include gratuity. However after we paid we were handed our credit card and the receipt to sign with a different amount that included gratuity. Nobody said anything about the difference in price we were charged until after they ran our cards and took the money. None of us will be back to this business

   Service from waitress was attentive. Price of food and quality was poor. My hamburger tasted like old meat and they tried to cover it up with bacon and seasoning . Fries tasted like cooked in old oil. Will not return when we go back to Nashville.

   The serve when entering the bar was externally dismissive. When we sat down the temperature was extremely cold. We had a different serve from the one who greeted us. For as slow as the bar was I thought she would be more attentive to our table when we needed top ups. The food was sub par specially since we tried to order a number of items off the menu to be told you didn’t have them in stock similar to beer choices you hadn’t had deliveries. The only good thing about the brunch was your music. Other than that the vibe was dead, your servers had no personality and your food for what you had was sub par. Disappointed to say the least specially since I was taking my husband there for his birthday and we were traveling from out of town.

    Our reservation that was made a month ahead of time was for rooftop dining. When we were seated indoors, i asked about our reservation for the rooftop. I was told there was no room with no explanation at all. No apology or acknowledgment that they did a bait and switch. It took forever to take our order and much longer to get our food (at least an hour). About 10 minutes before we got our food, they had the nerve to say that they were out of an entree and the person in our party who ordered it had to reorder. She received her entree after we were done eating ours. Was it comped? No way, she only received a discount. Insulting. Don’t go here- not worth your time or money.

    Taylor Swift Pop up? Uh no. Drinks were 1/2 full, you werent even playing Taylor Music, extremely lame vibe. Left after one drink because we felt like we were falling asleep. Super disappointing.

    The place was not busy at all, but it took forever to get service, drinks were very overpriced, almost $20 for a drink that was like 3 drinks to finish. They forgot to make my aunts food and it took forever to get it and it wasn’t what she ordered. Wouldn’t recommend. Looks cute but not worth it.

    Believe the negative reviews! We waited an hour and fifteen minutes before having to leave to get to an event without getting our food or second drink. I was hesitant to book a reservation after seeing some bad reviews, but was interested based on the proximity to the pedestrian bridge and thought surely they’d be properly staffed for the weekend. Our server was apologetic but couldn’t explain what the delay was. There were many open tables so it was hard to think they were just busy…very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

    Our server was AMAZING but management clearly set her up to fail. We made reservations for 1.5 hours before we wanted to be at the TS show at Nissan Stadium. They had themed drinks advertised online and we made our reservation weeks in advance. They were not even full at 4:45PM and were out of two of the special drinks. When we ordered, our drinks took almost an hour from when we arrived and only came because our server went behind the bar to make them herself. Our food was ordered on the first visit to the table and came out wrong and took more than 1 hour for our party of 3's appetizers and sides. Our server was truly great but this restaurant had to know to expect large crowds and was not able to deliver on basic service, even with plenty of time accounted for in our planning.

    Moxy was wholly unprepared for the Taylor Swift eras cocktail theme they advertised. We had a reservation, but all themed drinks we wanted were either out completely or served in different drink ware than the drink called for. Example, a martini in a highball/shot glass. The drinks also took an unreasonably long time to arrive. Each of our food items came out at different times and was mediocre. Our server was friendly and doing her best under circumstances that were probably not her fault.

    Our party showed up for our reservation we made through OpenTable and the Host acted confused, as if our reservation had never been made. I provided the email confirmation, as well as the reservation shown on OpenTable's site. The Host offered no remedy; just stared at us confused. I asked if we could still please be seated and she said, "Maybe at the bar". I went to look around and found lots of open tables, so I asked directly if we could sit at one outside. It took awhile for a server to come around, but once she did the service was decent. We had to go find the server to close our tab when we were ready to leave. It is a great ambiance, provided it's a rooftop bar right on Broadway. It's quieter than some of the super loud bars, but still a lively vibe. I wouldn't necessarily go back provided the service.

    Horrible experience. Was advertised to be a Taylor Swift event in which reservations were recommended. We had a reservation. Very slow staff-we waiting 20 min just to be greeted and given a menu. We had to ask for waters and when our drinks finally arrived they were not made as advertised. We asked for food menus and only received 1 for a table of 4. We were never asked for our food orders but we had decided that we would not be getting food at this establishment. Our waitress was outright rude, probably overworked but still that was not the fault of her customers. As far as the Taylor Swift vibe that was advertised-no Taylor music was even playing and the “photo opportunity” was really just half a balloon arch. There are many other places to go in Nashville. Don’t waste your money here.

    A friend and I visited Moxy Rooftop for the first time this past weekend. Location was very convenient, food was delicious, portions were significant, and service was outstanding. Cool venue with views of Lower broadway. Highly recommend!

    Started off with quite a lineup at the hostess stand with no one appearing for about five minutes. Try to avoid the tables by the kitchen.. Some really great the spots at other tables towards the outdoor patio. Food is quite slow to come out same with drinks. Salad came out with entrees . Pappardelle noodles were good . Shrimp and grits kind of bland . With all the great food in Nashville probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Would not recommend this restaurant- was surprised it had gotten such good reviews. It’s a bar, and the rooftop views are nice. But for a $35 entree one expects it to be edible, and mine was not. Food was cold and tasteless, seemed old. My husbands burger was decent, fresh. Server was nice. Go for drinks here, not food.

    The hostess was unfriendly and the bartenders were rude and inexperienced. The bar was dirty. Dirty glasses everywhere. Random bottles around the bar. I asked for it to be cleaned and was met with attitude. The drinks were below average. The signature cocktail menu didn’t have the ingredients on them so you have no clue what your drinking. The one meal we got was very spicy. I’m not big on putting in bad reviews but got away for the weekend to Nashville with the wife and no kids. We wanted to experience the best restaurants in the city. This was not one of them.

    Made a reservation for the top floor but they wouldn’t seat us there. Took us to a table with chairs that were soaking wet and made us clean our chairs with our napkins and didn’t supply additional napkins. The waiter asked us if the bill was together or separate 5 times. Food was plain, drinks were okay. Ordered a second drink and ten minutes later the waiter asked what I had ordered because he didn’t put the drink order in. Overall not great and the staff talked about how short staffed they were and how no one in the kitchen knew what they were doing and it showed.

    Sat on the outdoor rooftop area. Great ambiance of the lower Broadway experience. It was a Friday afternoon so not too crazy. Our server was wonderful and was the only one serving out there, she worked really hard and was very good.

    Don't go there 25 minutes to place an order. Waited 1 hour to get food after ordered. Chicken was raw when delivered to table and I mean RAW. There was no staff. Only 2 people working kitchen. Only one waitress. The waitress was sweet and apologized for the raw food and poor service. She said she would like to say this rarely happens but she said its a frequent occurrence...

    We ate at an outside long table rooftop. Marybeth was an excellent server. Drinks were great. We loved the hot chicken sliders, chicken wings and burgers. The music coming from all the other rooftop bars were great. What a fun city!!!
