Our late Sunday afternoon lunch was our best meal in Puebla. We came late so there were very few people. The service was attentive and helpful. The food was superb. I had a fish special and my friend has a steak dish. Both were unique, prepared beautifully. The dessert -- a creme caramel -- was exquisite. If I visit Puebla again, I will be sure to come to this lovely restaurant.

The setting was very nice and cozy. The wait staff were attentive and helpful. The vegetables were amazing and inventive. I thought some plates were too salty (and I like salt), though my husband thought they were wonderful. Wine was really good.

Moyuelo is a great option if you already visited the most emblematic Restaurants in Puebla (regarding traditional food) and are ready to go further. The Cocktails are amazing and the ambiance puts you in the mood to have one or two. Food is on another level, the cemitas are very fun and original, with amazing ingredients like duck or pork belly. This time we tried Traditional Cemita and Pork Belly cemita. We also had a tasting menu which included an amazing mushroom taco with "jocoque" the cemita and carrot cake. We also had de Huazontles with Tempura (one of my favorites) and lentils soup. I highly recommend this place and would encourage any foodie to go :)

Disfrutamos mucho nuestra cena en Moyuelo. Pedimos varios platillos y todos estuvieron muy buenas, pero las cemitas son deliciosas, sobretodo la de pork belly. El menú degustación fue interesante y satisfactorio. El risotto con huitlacoche estaba perfecto. Las cervezas artesanales muy bien seleccionadas. Y los postres también estuvieron muy disfrutables. Nos tocó una noche tranquila, fuimos muy bien atendidos y lo recomendamos ampliamente.

The Airbnb host where we were staying, highly recommended this restaurant. Our small group had our good-bye dinner there, before heading back to Canada/US. The waiters spoke English, but it would have been helpful to also have a menu in English, especially for the one person in our group who didn't speak a word of Spanish AND was a picky eater. We sat on the upper floor (recommended), with the windows wide open, giving it a kind of patio feel, without being right on the street. The ambiance was very nice, though me personally I would have liked the music just a little quieter. The food was outstanding, and so original. I went with the recommendations I found online and had the tempura (deep fried amaranth plant, 'huazontles en tempura') and the shrimp chalupas (chalupas de cameron confitado) to share with the group. I had the pork belly cemita. And I had the "aqua del dia", which was mango and lemon grass juice. All was fantastic and so original. My daughter had another cemita, which was the arrachera (without cheese). My daughter's had less taste, but perhaps because she didn't add the pesto sauce that came with the cemitas. My colleagues seemed to really like their dishes, including fish of the day, though one complained that the risotto was too salty. Finally, we couldn't resist the dessert. We shared the triple chocolate dessert (which comes with a passion fruit/chocolate sauce) and the pepita ice cream dessert. Both were fantastic, though my preference was the pepita ice cream, which was just so original and so tasty. I would highly recommend this restaurant, which is on the expensive end compared to other places if you get the table d'hôte (325$), but not particularly pricey if you just get a cemita (85 pesos), which was huge. But the quality and originality of the food is phenomenal, and it is a great value. If I go back to Puebla, I will go here! Gracias Moyuelo!

La. comida excelente. El queso fundido y las chalupas de camarón confitado como entradas estuvieron excelentes. El pulpo y la trucha asalmonada muy buenas elecciones ambas. La cemita tradicional de milanesa de cerdo buena pero nada espectacular. Lo que sí el servicio no tan bueno y la trucha vino cruda y luego se tardaron casi 20 minutos en traerla de nuevo. Imperdonable.

Comida excelente!!!! El restaurante es pequeño y encontramos que el servicio podria haber sido más bienvenido para adaptarse al entorno íntimo. También hay ruido de la calle y de la música que podría hacer difícil oír para algunas personas.

Lo encontré recomendado en round Table un lugar peculiar pequeño, muy agradable y acogedor tiene muchas opciones de bebidas preparadas y comida fusión de platillos tradicionales con toque moderno. Pedimos la semita tradicional con toque Moyuelo tartar de Cordero y ensalada de jamón serrano y de bebida "chivitas" ah y de aperitivo licor de pasita Todo riquísimo. Definitivamente en nuestra próxima visita a Puebla volveremos felicidades al Chef Fernando Hernández
