   Booked table for 4 at 5.30. Staff pleasant. Food was good and served hot and in a timely manner. We always go to Mr. Mike's for birthdays and other special occasions.

   I did not enjoy eating out of a metal tray. The steak was over done. The crostini wasn't toasted and the avocado was just piled on top with no appeal. The chicken tenders were ok. The spareribs had no flavour the meat was a little dry. In all it was not the worst, but it could have been much better. First time at Mr. Mikes but I (we) were not impressed.

   Never had this happen before, they brought our appetizers out at the same time as our main courses. Not sure if it was a mess up with our server, or kitchen, but it was just weird. Our table was full of plates of food. They offered to take back our main dishes and keep them under the warmers, but we declined since we already had them. Other than that, our food was great!

    As always …from the greeting when you walk in the door to the amazing service, food and that feel at home feeling….everything was outstanding! We had a birthday party of 16 and the food was excellent….love the panko shrimp tacos, the new meal that we used as an appetizer share and a meal of steak bruschetta and chicken tenders was delightful!! Thank you Mr Mikes team for your attention to our entire party!! We all had a fantastic time!!

    My wife and I had the burger that was on sale and we opted for the Caesar salad. The burger was fine, but the Caesar salad was limpy not crisp and fresh. Service was just okay.

    Not worth going as the hostess was not kind. The manager didn’t care and if you have kids be prepared to sit by the kitchen and washroom. We asked for a different table and they refused to move us even though they had available seating. We booked a month in advance and they didn’t care as we have a 8 year old. They said the other tables were reserved for A later time slot… by then we would of eaten and gotten out…Anyone with a child that evening sat by the kitchen or bathroom. The food was okay we have gone previously and it was great but not last night

    Our server was fantastic and I wish I could remember her name. She was super polite, professional and had great humour. Our Chinatown stir fry wasn’t like it has been in the past. It was very bland. Usually has a great teriyaki flavouring. Anyways service was good hopefully next time the stir fry is back to the way it was.

    Very expensive for the quality of food in my opinion. I can get a $50 ribeye steak at the keg that is twice as good. Service good. Ambience good. Good for kids. Just over priced for the quality of food. We went there as a cheaper option. Figured the food would be as good as it was…but didn’t expect them to charge as much as they did for it. Bad value.

    This isn’t about my visit on May 15th, but on June 5th. Had to post in case any one is thinking about eat there. Arrived at 5pm on a Sunday night. Staff said they were unable to have the kitchen make a Chinatown stir fry without onions. Said their general manager was not in the restaurant and the kitchen said no. Unreal. I even offered to pick the onions out before they cooked it…..still no. Wow. The server wouldn’t even come back to give us the bill when we said we would leave then and go elsewhere. We had to ask the shift supervisor for the bill. Had been going to this restaurant for over 15 years. Will never be back. No customer service at all and over priced.

    We’ve never been disappointed with our orders in the past and this visit was no exception. Our steaks and chicken were cooked to perfection and very flavourful as were our sides. Like many restaurants through the pandemic, it looks like there has been a change in staff but everyone is outgoing, friendly, and professional. Because of the restaurant layout, there is a constant din from all the conversations going on, but that’s part of the atmosphere.

    I was quite disappointed as we ordered 2 appies ( obviously before my meal ) they never showed up . It was not very busy …maybe 8 tables in total . Food took well over 30 minutes to come and still no appies . Was looking forward to them . Did end up ordering the bruschetta that we ate with the meal which our server rushed . I would have expected some form of compensation such as taking it off the bill or a comp desert but nothing . I’ve worked many years in the restaurant industry and it’s alway standard for a manger to come by and apologize and usually comp. something for the inconvenience. Otherwise the food was ok. I had a chicken dish that came with rice and veggies . The rice was a bit crunchy which was disappointing and the veg. Had no seasoning whatsoever. Chicken was great . When you are paying that much for something , I expect more . I may give it a try again but probably not for awhile.

    New manager. Doesn’t know how to make it right. Food was terrible, ask for med well, one came med rare and one came well done. Not my fault so they should fix it or take it off the bill.
