   Made on line reservation for 5:30 (6 people) requesting’open table’ . Spoke to someone via phone making sure ‘no booth’ as most of us in their 80’s so need to be able to get out easily. Also mentioned it was for an 80th b/d celebration. Received an email from you confirming reservation, etc. Upon arrival at 5:30 was directed to a booth so we mentioned our reservation requesting ‘open table’ but it wasn’t set up at all. They madly had to rush to the back to clean & set up our table😠. What was the point of reserving? Also found certain dishes priced a little high! After dinner Pete received the bill & paid but no mention of 80th b/d celebration so someone in our group had to say something. Totally very disappointed !!

   Brought my husband here for a milestone (60th) birthday along with a few close friends. Mentioned this to our server thinking that we would be given a comped dessert or at least a drink. The bill was over $220, only 2 out of 5 had alcohol, 4 of 5 had pasta, I was coerced into giving a 15% tip (I could have selected other) bringing the bill to over $270. I didn’t feel ANY value in dining at Mr.Mikes for this special occasion. I realize the cost of EVERYTHING has exploded (except our wages), for this reason restaurants need to step it up so customers feel they are appreciated.

    We usually enjoy our meals at Mr Mikes. Our server was sweet, she was apologetic, but continually forgot things, spilt food, and at times we thought she forgot about us all together. Food was mediocre.Our food wasn't as tasty as usual, it looked as if it were rushed to be put on the plate. Not a great experience.

    Our time with Mr.Mike was great. Our wait person was very professional and still. Made our time there awesome. Even though it was her first day at Mr.Mike’s , she was obviously someone with great credentials. We even made a reservation for April 8 for seven people for a birthday lunch it was a great time .

    Asked for a half salad , whole salad came and was charged for a whole salad . Another member of family ordered a $23.00 steak with onion rings and was charged extra for the onion rings . Was supposed to come with onion rings . Mike burgers and fries were good . Food was good but pricey for what you get ! Ken

    Terrible service. Lady was rude when we asked to turn on the heater again. The guy that was serving us had no idea what he was doing and we wouldn’t see him for 20-30 minutes at a time.

    Grandson's 13th birthday. We all had steaks, all cooked to the way we each prefer. Delicious meal! Service was wonderful, attentive and caring. Mention to waitress celebrating Grandson's birthday. She brought out his sticky toffee cake with a sparkle candle and sang happy birthday to him. When bill came...no charge for the cake. First time to Mr. Mike's will certainly return. Only thing, I booked on line and requested a booth. We were seated at table on the patio and the overhead heater was far too hot. We asked for it to be turned down, it was turned off. Did notice a few other tables requesting the heater be turned down.

    the service was friendly but haphazard , no cutlery ,forgot tea , coffee . The food was good , but not enough . All in all we did enjoy our visit , and I would recommend Mr. Mikes

    Our only & usual complaint is the slowness of service in ever aspect, from from service after being seated to receiving your beverage or food. Our Server did apologize for the every wait. On a positive note, I did receive a comlimentary dessert for my Birthday. Thanks Mr. Mikes

    We understand the shortage of staff, and things may take longer. We are patient and don't mind waiting extra. But for our patience and understanding, we received less than great service and food. We were disappointed, but will try again at a later date. Hopefully things will improve.

    Food was consistently good. Service was attentive and accommodating. Food preparation was a long wait but understandable with staff shortages and full capacity now. I did notice plexiglass between tables was all removed and that was disappointing. Get safer being at full capacity with plexiglass in place.

    The restaurant was busy with people lined up inside when we arrived. Thank goodness I had made a reservation. The greeter checked our vaccine passports and showed us to a table in the patio area which had been closed in for the winter. Our wait for the server was only a few minutes long. She was pleasant and friendly and delivered our beverages quickly. Our food order arrived within about twenty minutes. Everything tasted great and the portions were a good size. I do love the Mr. Mike Burgers being served on garlic bread. It's just a nice plus from the usual burger presentation. Overall, it was a very good experience. We will dine at Mr. Mike's again soon.

    WOW, gotta love this place. Mr. Mikes in Duncan is a delightful place to enjoy a fun-filled evening. Great staff, tremendous food, and a peaceful or exciting atmosphere depending on your desire.

    Took over 25 minutes to get our drinks (water tea pop and 1 Cesar) and place an order. Then over an hour to get even our appetizers which ended up being wrong. Extremely poor service

    Dinner reservations for a special event. 4 guests arrived at 5:25pm. Ordered appies and for dip for panko shrimp so when dip finally arrived, shrimp were cold. One order was wrong took back to redo, didn’t receive until 7pm when all other meals consumed. Steak for bbq steak salad was cold and overcooked. I understand there are staff shortages but a messed up meal should take priority. Manager came over and comped appies and redo meal. And provided a gift card.

    The food was of very poor quality. The mash potatoes were dry and without any flavour, the green beans were overcooked and the steak was chewy and we had to send one back because it was overcooked. Honestly, terrible food. We have been coming here for years and it was super disappointing. It has become a hit and miss when it comes to the quality of the food.

    Restaurant was not open when we arrived. Their website said they were open. The signage outside their door said they should be open. There was no note on the door saying they had to close unexpectedly.

    Wow, am a regular visitor to the Duncan Mr Mikes but it gets better and better with each visit. We were celebrating our daughter and son in law moving to Canada and I cannot think of a better way to celebrate then going to me Mikes. The food was amazing, the atmosphere fun and energetic and the drinks flowing. What made it exceptional was the staff, the server, Issac took care of us as if we were VIPs, and the General Manager ensured we ere happy. If you are celebrating anything, it would be hard to find a better place than Mr Mikes, Duncan, to experience good food.

    Patio area not warm enough or overheated, more needs to be done to make it a draft free and comfortable environment for winter dining. Food quality was disappointing, burger was low grade compressed meat and overpriced. Previous visits have been good but I hope quality and value for money improves.
