I had a Steak Sandwich and my husband had a burger. It was all we both could eat. Very tasty and the service was excellent.
Booked a reservation for Friday night as we knew it would be busy. Received confirmation that our reservation was accepted. Showed up to find out that they somehow missed our reservation and didn’t have table for us. Front door staff didn’t seem to really care that she missed our reservation and offered no explanation or compensation. It’s too bad because the food is great at this place.
Great food and very reasonably priced—well worth a visit and we look forward to coming back again the next time we’re in town again!
We had refrained from going out to dine during Covid but found the experience at Mr Mikes very safe and enjoyable .
We went here August 22 it was a complete waste of almost $100. It took a hour if not longer too get our food, people who came in after us were already eating before we got ours. When we finally did get ours my steak was med rare instead of medium, my husbands steak was burned and wasn't very good, our grandson tried it and said it was gross and ate his own steak, both of our mashed potatoes we cold. We made a point of staying the night in Hinton just so we could go for dinner at Mr. Mikes instead of driving straight too Vancouver. Was the biggest mistake and waste of $260.
Husband and I both ordered the steak sandwich. My steak was tough, but hubby’s was good.

While the restaurant wasn’t busy, out server seemed to take forever to remember that we were still there and when she did arrive it was very hurried and distracted. We had a gift card, but still we thought it a bit pricey, the food was mediocre so the chance we might go back are very slim

Great staff, nice modern warm décor. Salad was very fresh, steak was well done. Nice wine selection. If I return to Hinton I would eat there again.
I received a gift certificate from my real estate agent for Mr Mikes Steakhouse, otherwise I would have not have been able to go. The prices are WAY too high for my budget. There were 3 of us- my daughter, granddaughter ( 9 yrs ) and myself. My daughter and I each had 1 alcoholic drink and we all shared a dessert and our bill was $150.00 ( which included a very nice tip for our young & nervous waiter ). I realize for some people that's reasonable , however it's double what we can normally afford.

It took 20 mins to get our appetizer. And the vegetables on our plate tasted like it had been cooked without any spices.

Enjoyed the meal, drinks felt like they had to alcohols. Few mistakes on the order.
All in all it was still good.
Food was OK. Our table was near the door and when asked if she could close the inside doors the hostess stated that should could not close the doors. Every time the door opened I would get a blast of cold air not enjoyable.

The restaurant was not clean
Food was not fresh or tasty we wanted to order hamburgers but they don't make them less than medium well so we changed our order
Much too pricey for dinner

Sadly had a group there for a business lunch. We arrived at 1200 for the reservation. Some of the party were as late as 1230. We ordered lunch and dispute the fact that the place was all but empty we waited 45 mins at least for food. This is not a good thing when everyone has one hour for lunch. The food was good and nothing else was wrong but. This is a huge fail and surprisingly they tried to act like it was all ok not even one mention as to length of time for service or anything.

Asked for a special romantic table,they gave us first table by the front !
Asked for one of their deserts with candle,they seemed never to have read our request.No candle,we brought our own.
This is very expensive,what we would have paid $70 in Edmonton cost us $140.for a passable meal.
The baked potato was old and dark inside,plus they charged me $4.00 for my veggies which was supposed to come with meal.My husband's sauce was supposed to come with his small filet,charged also.
We only noticed these charges when we got home.
Not much choice of restaurant in Hinton, a friend suggested this place.
Overall not happy.
Will not go back.
