   The food was okay. Wine options were limited due to a large party the night before. We all had steaks. They were pretty bland(minimal season) Our app was warm, not hot.

   When I made the reservation, I specified that it was our anniversary. I was hoping our server might be notified so she could congratulate us but service was quick and not very engaging. She seemed rushed.

   It was busier on a weekend but we went out to dinner with my parents from a smaller town. my father never is into fancy appetizers nor much or things with crazy add ons (a very plain guy) he loved this restaurant, going here often we felt this was a better option than most. I think anyone who needs a fun delicious meal ..with feeling that fine dining with the price that is affordable.. should go here. Also the hot lobster dunk is our jam. Order it or regret it!!

    We were pleasantly surprised with our dining experience at Mr Mikes in St Catharines. It was a busy Saturday but the service was great! We had the Oscars Sirloin Lobster and it was a good steak and there actually was lobster in the sauce! Also had the seafood fettuccine which was good. Mr Mikes is as good as the Keg if not better!

    Had reservations for a bday dinner. Waited 15 minutes before anyone came to take the drink orders. Servers should know what tables their serving, it wasn't even busy there.

    Upon arrival excellent reception and guided to our table. Our server was the upmost gentlemen and provided a giggle or two. The food we ordered was beyond our expectations this is the second we've been there and it will not be the last. Happy New Year.

    tried first time for us. beef dip was tasty but a little on the small side. wife had mac and cheese was decent and ordered a appetiser of bruschetta not impressed. i would try again but different items.

    We arrived and was greeted by a young girl, who sat us straight away in a booth. Our server came over and introduced himself, was a little abrupt in his manner. We asked his opinion on what was good to eat, to which he replied I’m sure you will find something on the menu, and that he eats there everyday so he can’t really recommend! He took our drinks order, no offer of water for any of us. We had to ask for that. He came back to 10 minutes later, to take our order, as one of my friends was giving her order he interrupted her saying how about you just give me your starters and he would come back for our mains, as there was a party about to order and he didn’t want us to be behind them. So we ordered, and we ordered a bottle of red wine. He brought the wine to our table to open, to which the cork split in two, so we refused it. He brought a second bottle to the table, to which I tasted it, and it was completely not drinkable. He looked at me like I didn’t know what I was talking about, but went to get another bottle, opened and said well hopefully this is too your liking!! It was fine, but he said he was going to check the other bottles too. He manner was not very pleasant for the remainder of time we were there, not very attentive, we had to flag another member of staff to help us at one point.

    We were at Mike’s sharing a great dining experience with our son & grandson who were visiting from Toronto. I had never been there before (except patio) so I was hopeful things would go well ‘cause it was my recommendation. It did.

    The food was so good ..great deal great price and our server Drew was so good friendly and informative....I would greatly recommend and will be going back for sure.. Also the bruschetta was so good as well as the sticky toffee dessert.....

    I have dined here twice with friends. Both times everyone enjoyed their food, fish n chips, lobster mac, steaks, all great. The sticky pudding is a great dessert to share. At both visits, we enjoyed impeccable service - staff are well trained and look after you personally! Very good.

    The food is always great at the restaurant and you get your value for the cost. It unfortunate that the takeout or delivery service results in cold food. I have ordered three times for pick-up and they give you a time but then the food is done 10-15 Minutes earlier than indicated on the order. So the food is sitting at the front door getting cold which is too bad as the shrimp tacos are fabulous.

    I had to give two items only one star because at the time we were there the kitchen had a problem where meals could not be cooked. Therefore we did not get a chance to dine and I was so looking forward to the surf and turf. The waitress was so apologetic, but not her fault, We were given a gift certificate for our inconveniece and we will revisit again.

    Food was okay but our server wasn’t. He kept stopping by our table to make excuses why he was taking so long. Then we could see our food sitting under the lamps for 10 minutes ready to go while he was nowhere to be found. It took him over 10 minutes to even take our drink order after we sat down. We were there because the first time we went, our order was so wrong they gave us gift cards for our next visit. We won’t be back. The food didn’t make up for the crappy service. I don’t care why you’re taking so long, in the time it took you to tell us about it, you could have taken our drink order.

    It is good overall except for one of the dish that has a piece of hair on the side vegetables dish. It was quickly brought it in and “replaced” but I doubt that is the case as she bought back my steak with other sides in less than 5 mins.

    Stopped in for lunch during happy hour. It was great. It was a Saturday afternoon but it was quiet. Had the casual soda and the bruschetta and chicken fingers off the happy hour menu. The food was awesome as was the bartender. Servers and hostess.

    Our food was good - standard fare, ok price (not great value). Our service, however, was lacking. Server was disinterested, more occupied with friends at a nearby table, where he sat with them a few times during our time in the restaurant. He didn't realize that a food runner had brought our food out, and came to tell us it would be out soon and we already had it. Restaurant wasn't busy when we were there (6:30pm arrival on a Friday night).
