Went there for brunch but it turned out to be a lunch instead. Even though nothing we've ordered needed cooking it took so long for them to serve our brunch boards, bruschettas. Everything was super super slow. The food was ok (nothing special for brunch) but the presentation was good.

What amazing time my family and I (party of 7) had al Mulino - am a foodie who has dined at excellent restaurants and I think that this is a hidden gem in Toronto - wine list is great, our pasta plates were outstanding! And we closed with limoncello and grappa - felt like I was in Italy without having to leave Toronto
Lastly, I would like to recognize how great the service was by Laura (the restaurant manager) - I promised her I will come back and certainly I will

Kitchen was unable to make order. We waited 1h10 min for 2 charcuterie boards (zero cooking required, only one other table in the restaurant so not busy at all). Those were for 2 of our attendees, the rest was not delivered as they started cooking the rest of the meals after that wait. We thus cancelled everything and left.
The 2 boards were offered free of charge which was a nice gesture and our waiter was doing his best and being very nice but unfortunately this restaurant is not ready to cater to people - looks like the chef was absent or other major issues are happening…

Brunch menu is amazing and very delicious. Atmosphere and service are great too. I’ve been there twice last week as I feel in love with food and service at this restaurant.

Everything was delicious but my favourites were the chicken cacciatore pizzetino, polenta fries, and tiramisu. And make sure you top it all off with a delicious bottle of lambrusco 👌

Goodness gracious, I've never been to Italy but I can only imagine how good the food there must be, because the cuisine I ate during Abruzzo night was just magical. I had the most delicious lasagna made of crepes! It was out of this world! My guest and I also shared these lamb skewers...I forget what it is called in Italian, but they were very savoury! In addition to the pre fixe menu we also bought some extra dessert, Tiramisu and "bomba". Absolutely delightful! The owner had just finished packaging some homemade sauce and pesto to sell, so we bought some too, in hopes of recreating a delicious Italian dinner at home!

I'm a vegetarian and really enjoyed the queen salad and caprese salad with my husband who is also a vegetarian. We also tried the spinach lasagna roses! They're so cute! We completed our meal with cocktails and donuts. Loved it! Great place to check out! Lots of vegetarian friendly options...bext time I'll have a veggie lasagna.

We ate on the last night of Puglia Night. This included a 4 course menu at an amazing price! The polenta with sea urchin was something I had never tried before and it was absolutely amazing! For an additional $35, we had the wine pairings...again a great deal for all that wine with dinner. Looking forward to the next event night, which is Abruzzo night!

I went to their Puglia Night and it outstanding. I totally understand why they had to extend it. Sooooo obsessed with their Polenta with Sea Urchins, I wish they could make it part of their regular menu. Also their Pasticiotto, warm and flaky, please!!! We also had their Braciola with pasta and the Tiella. Ohhh and their Foccaccia, sooo good. If you want an outstanding dinner with regional Italian menu this is the place.
I had Italian food I never knew it existed, super reccomended. Loved the modern Trattoria ambiance and the great service. Their Italian wines selection it's impressive to say the least. I'll be back for sure.

My friend and I had a lovely dinner here. We started with the calamari, which was perfectly crispy and not overcooked.
We had 2 lasagnas as our main. The "Sara" a classic meat and cheese lasagna...delicious! And the "Carla" a Bechamel-Basil-Pesto lasagna that was so good! Definitely a must try!
We stuck with nutella donuts (called bomba) for dessert...because who doesn't love nutella. My friend really enjoyed the wine, but I couldn't remember the name...either way there's a lot to choose from!

Food was amazing .. cannot complain about that however, not sure why reservations were made at 7:30 pm and we were still waiting for parts our meals at 10 pm - we did taste of Sicily 45.00$ for 4 course meal .. .. should not have been waiting so long between courses. I had to ask one our waitresses to bring out the dessert and bill all together because, as I mentioned reservations were at 7:30 pm .. 4 course meal and at 930 we just got the 3rd course ?!?!? ( not sure why) — I mentioned to the manager that since the course were taking so long maybe have a bread and butter basket available and place at centre of table .( did not happen)
Guest that arrived after our party of 4 .. (7:30) were receiving their meals before us . Again not sure why - our reservations were part of a promotion of 4 course meal for 45.00 and we were made to wait so long .
Again food was good .. however, don’t make any other plans for the evening when visiting this place as you will be waiting for a long time .
People remember 2 things about their restaurant experience ... food and service —- scale of 1-10
Food - 9 ( as their is always room for improvement
service - 5( as I won’t be that rude)

Buon appetito
