    From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and was greeted immediately and taken to my table. Not too long after I was asked what type of water I preferred so I asked for a sparkling water, and was given the menus for drinks and meal. I was asked if I was familiar with their menu, and if it was a first time which was so I was offered by my waiter, top choices by client and his favorites. He explained if there’s any questions or I needed more clarification on what to choose to not hesitate and ask. After perusal over the drink menu, I went with the cold sake. For my appetizers, I have the crab dumplings ; tuna tartare and Wagyu tartar. Presentations were phenomenal and everything was delicious and up to par. I definitely recommend this restaurant quality and taste was 10 on 10.  I cannot wait to return to try out the other delicacies on their menu.

    I always make a point of reading the negative reviews before deciding to book. I'm glad I did. They make a point of answering negative reviews and they do so with humility. They did not become defensive or make excuses, they owned it, and that's important. Muni Robata is a Gem. Everything was excellent. The food was delicious. The service was exceptional. The place is clean. I highly recommend and will definitely go again. It was a wonderful experience.

    Our experience at Muni Robata was amazing! Every single member of the team gave us exceptional service and made us feel welcome. The crab dumplings melt in your mouth and both the rib eye and live lobster were cooked and seasoned amazingly and on the first bite we knew we had to come back and try the whole menu. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and they brought us out a delicious slice of matcha cheesecake, it was so cute and thoughtful! Thank you to everyone at Muni Robata for a great evening.

    Exceptional food but the service was very slow. Drinks took almost 30 min and some dishes took over an hour. But the food was SO great. Must have been because there was a large party there at the same time as us. Would go back for sure.

    The combination of the Wagyu Foie Gras roll is a good idea but the taste is too dry and hard to swallow it. Also, the wagyu is a bit small piece and can’t taste the texture of the good meat. The smell of truffle of the Veggie Truffle Mushroom Kamameshi is good, but it tastes too sticky and hard to finish it. The Yuzu Scallop is fairy good, which can taste it as good quality and the Nigiri set is good, especially the Foie Gras.

    Over priced! Rib eye is tough! Everything we ate except the sukiyaki was under seasoned. Resto was not even half full and when I requested for a bigger table because my boys are big, they said we need to at least guarantee a $135 bill per person in order for them to transfer us. I understand if the resto was full but again a seating time at 8:30pm, thats a bit of a stretch to likely hood that a good as big as ours will show up on a Sunday on a long weekend. Poor customer service!

    Our server Jay was outstanding. A little disappointed that the restaurant did not have any Toro, especially given it was a Friday night. Jay guided us through the menu, gave us great options. The crab dumpling dish, tuna and waygu maki and the waygu tartare were the stars.

    Unfortunately some items from the menu I was curious about were unavailable. Disliked the sauce with Waguy Tataki - it’s saltiness distracted from buttery sweetness a lot. Salmon temaki were underwhelming, presentation seemed a bit rushed. Sashimi platter was okay. Our server was very friendly and kind.

    Lovely place, went here for my boyfriends birthday and the we tried the tasting menu. It was a beautifully planned menu, all the flavours combinations were so complementing. The cod with yuzu miso sauce was our favourite it was very sweet and savoury. along side the oyster and sashimi they were so fresh. Thank you muni we will be back.

    Great service. We got the tasting menu premium version. They gave us a lot of food. It started off with great food but as we got to the main i found the wagyu a little over cooked and didn’t have much flavor or perhaps under seasoned.

    Food was ok, cocktails are over priced I was excited to hear they offered us a special on uni. After eating it, couldn’t help but to think.. They couldn’t get their shipment of premium.. was left with mediocre quality. Just imo

    Wow what can I say , the food , the vibe , the staff and owners are all top notch! I’ve been here a few times now and the service gets better and better. They actually remembered my name from a months ago! My go to for apps is the crab dumplings (x2) and ofcourse the oysters with that amazing mignonette! The main will always be the succulent Waygu steak paired up with the amazing sake! Do yourself a favour and book a reservation here ASAP! Cheers and good eats!
