   The food was excellent our only negative was the heat. We were sat by an open window with the sun baking on us and the blinds were stuck so we couldn't lower them anymore.

   We were seated quickly in a beautiful spot with a lovely view of the mountains. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. The food was spectacular. Wine selection was abundant.

   Beautiful location in downtown Canmore. Food unfortunately was mediocre (parts overdone, sauces not flavourful), wine list OK. Service was ok but didn’t offer suggestions, not really friendly but was efficient. Overall an average experience and we will try again.

   My wife and I dined at Murrieta's recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere was cheery and lively, but you didn't need to shout to make yourself heard. View of the mountains are wonderful. Our server wsa very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. My Lamb Meatballs and Spaghetti was delicious, and the portion size of the meatballs was generous. My wife had the salmon and loved it. We will definitely be back.

   All servers are engaged, accommodating, respectful and pleasant. The noise level is generally gentle, until the lounge side gets going about 9pm. The mountainous views are available on all sides, and there's an open hot pass section through which you may watch the kitchen do their dance. Probably my favourite restaurant in the world.

    Great lunch with friends. Our waiter Josh was fantastic. I needed a sodium reduced meal and he arranged for a burger without seasoning. It was great. Another person in our party needed gluten free and that was arranged. Thanks so much.

    From out of town so I reserved a week before to celebrate my husband's birthday. We loved the food and the friendly service. Nice ambiance and great mountain views. Would definitely recommend. Looks like a great place for larger groups as well.

    They were busy and short staffed. The manager/bartender came over and took care of us the whole time and was fantastic. Food was fabulous. Would definitely recommend this place.

    Back to Murrieta's for another dinner looking at the mountains and enjoying the excellent menu. Service seemed a little choppy compared to previous but still a great place to eat / drink in Canmore.

    We visited on a Thursday evening for a steak supper. Right from the start the hospitality was dismal. We were treated hurriedly and abruptly seated in a crowded middle section even though the dining room was more than 50% empty. Our server was Jessie and she did not even smile once. She took our order and proceeded to take the orders of three other tables of foursomes prior to inputting our orders in the computer. We watched the chefs in the open kitchen basically doing clean up to keep busy because they had no orders to work on. Then Jessie put in all the orders and the tables who were seated after us of course received their meals before us even though our dinners were pretty straightforward grilled steaks. Jessie only came back once to ask about how are dinners were and by then we were pretty much finished. Dinner for two at about $150 should be somewhat special in our opinions.

    Atmosphere and view in the restaurant were just fantastic. Service was okay, our server wasn’t super attentive, but it was adequate. Food was over all delicious, gnocchi, spaghetti and cod were great. Hummus appy was 10/10. Ordered the calamari however which came just a bit too salty. We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely come back!

    Murrieta's rose to the top again. The food was excellent as was the service. we have eaten there a number of times and the food and service has not waivered off excellent. We highly recommend Murrieta's as your stop for a meal while in Canmore.

    We celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday here as new locals to Canmore. Our server, Jesse, was excellent - friendly and attentive. The meal, from the appetizer to the wine, the entrees and dessert were all exceptional. And the views - can’t say enough - just stunning. We are happy to have such a wonderful restaurant within walking distance of our new home and look forward to many more dinners here!

    Our server did not introduce herself - nor did she smile. Not even once! I would suggest - that as a way to improve the dining experience - that the server introduce themselves, act friendly and smile. The food way amazing - but unfortunately the service was so bad that it made the entire experience less than average.

    Seated at the best seat in the house (right in front of the window) we had a lovely evening at Murrieta’s! They have my favourite Sauvignon Blanc (Mount Riley), the calamari portion was HUGE & the gnocchi was soooo good. All rounded out by our lovely, attentive server, Eva.     We had an enjoyable dinner at Murrieta’s. There was a small hiccup with our order that our server addressed and rectified very quickly. The restaurant was a bit loud but quieted down when the diners at adjoining tables finished and departed. Still, we quite enjoyed our evening and would certainly dine there again.
