Me and my sisters had an amazing time!! Nick attended to our every need. The food was outstanding!! So delicious! Great atmosphere and attentive staff. I'll definitely be back!!

The new Mythology is a welcome addition to the vegan food scene. The former menu - diner-food staples heavy with seitan - was curious but far too heavy. Chef McNish has instead created an upscale, completely vegan experience, with a delicious selection of appetizers and mains. We had a hard time deciding on one dish and could have easily ordered anything from the menu. We settled for sharing the arancini, which were light, crisp, fresh with herbs and surprisingly interesting smoked tofu centre. As a main, my partner chose the king oyster mushroom, marinated and prepared as scallops on polenta, and I chose the cassoulet, a comforting bean casserole with chestnuts and Beyond sausage with garlic toast. She was underwhelmed with her mushroom - it had picked up too much oil from the pan and that's all we could taste - but my cassoulet was fantastic. I'm not a fan of Beyond meats, but this sausage was exceptional and I needed all my toast to get every bit of it from my bowl. We found service a bit slow, with a long wait between appetizer and main (the restaurant was about 2/3 full at the time), but the staff were helpful and friendly. The dessert was just OK: the sticky toffee pudding had neither sticky nor toffee, it was just the square of spiced cake, which, although good, cannot quite be a sticky toffee pudding without the toffee syrup. My chocolate ganache was quite good, but the portion size for a dessert was a bit too big. Yes, it IS possible to have too much chocolate for dessert! We'll definitely be back, because it provides an excellent upscale dining experience for vegans.

Good service, good food, nice vibe. Enjoyed the food for the most part, but could not finish the Beyond sausage. I would recommend looking into an alternative. And the sticky toffee pudding was quite tasty, but I did not like the wine-poached pear that went with it.
Food was disappointing and seemed to have declined since our last visit. Tastes were plain.
I’ve been to the restaurant a few times. The first time was for brunch around the time it first opened and the food was decent. The second time I came back with my boyfriend and I ordered the fish and chips. The flavour profile of that dish didn’t sit well with me so I ended up sending it back and ordering a “prime rib” sandwich, I believe it was. The third time my boyfriend and I ordered the same sandwich and his was cold to the touch. Like it had just been pulled out of the fridge, but the toast was warm. So we sent it back and had them remake it, and by the time it was ready, I had finished eating. The fourth time was actually just a couple days ago and I was really hoping with the new menu and the renovations that there would be an improvement in the food... I ordered the eggs benny and my boyfriend ordered the classic breakfast or something... they were both about Luke warm and both meals definitely had cold pockets. I also really didn’t enjoy the coffee. It tasted like it was watered down light roast that you only got a tiny cup of and still had to pay 3.75. So over all, not great job you’re doing. The only place there’s consistency is in the cold pockets of food. I’d give the restaurant a 3.5/10
Upon arrival it took the staff a long time before acknowledging us standing at the door. I had a reservation for regular seating and instead I received high top seating. We did not see our waitress for almost 10 minutes after being seated and no one bothered to bring us a drinks menu. By the time we got one we were ready to order so out drinks actually came out when we were almost finished with our meal. I also noticed that all the other tables were getting a small dish complements of the kitchen and we never got one so I thought that was a bit strange. The food was good but overpriced ($6 for a side of 1 beyond meat sausage) and a breakfast sandwich with a side of potatoes is about $20. All in all our brunch bill was $70 without any alcohol orders. I don’t think the food is bad but definitely not worth the high prices. However, I would not mind these prices at all if the service was better but in our experience it was subpar.
Bacon is amazing!!!!!!!! Only reason i didnt give 5 stars for all is that parts of my breakfast was cold. Love Mythology otherwise.
We had a wonderful meal. Our server was very attentive and gave us great suggestions. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Toronto.

Friendly staff - all seemed to truly enjoy working there. Absolutely amazing food - even better than any expectation I could’ve had. Love the concept (myths surrounding veganism). Cozy, romantic atmosphere. Cannot wait to go again!
Glad to be able to celebrate world vegan day at the Myth. Service was ok and meal was prepared well, however the Food cooled down quickly. Perhaps because the plates were cool when food was plated? It was a cool evening and we were seating next to the window which probably made it worse. We Were not offered the amuse bouche after hearing it being offered to the table next to us after we ate our appetizer, when we mentioned it to server she did apologize and told us we would get it, but we never did. The coconut mint cocktail was delicious as was mushroom ravioli and chocolate cake. Calamari would have tasted even better had it not cooled down so fast.
Disclaimer: I am not Vegan and this was my first experience eating at a Vegan restaurant.
Having said that, I was embracing my visit to Mythology to try Vegan cuisine because I had heard so much about the restaurant and the Chef - Doug. The good: the restaurant is comfortable, the ambiance is nice and the wait staff was excellent. The not so good: the Vegan Benedict option. Although the presentation was awesome (it really was a work of art), the taste was off for me...the "fake" eggs and the "hollandaise sauce" especially, just didn't taste right...and it was also luke warm coming to the table. When I asked the server about the dish, she did say that it was not an easy dish for Vegan first timers to try and that because of the way it is prepared, coming to the table hot really isn't an option - both of which I hoped the server might have told me before I ordered the dish?!? The Khachapuri Chili dish was tasty but not hot...which I found surprising as I thought they would have a pot of Chili simmering in the kitchen and that of all dishes, this one would come out piping hot.
So, I think that if I were to try this restaurant again, I would be better off trying a dish that is intended to be Vegan from the start and not try to have food that is trying to mimic meat or non-vegan. Live and learn.

The food as always was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect for a brunch with a friend.
The service was awesome and the food was delicious. The price was very reasonable.
2 vegans, 2 non-vegans. We all enjoyed everything that we had. We decided to share a lot so that we could taste most of the menu. The tartare was everyones favorite starter. We also had the mushroom calamari and charcuterie board that we would all happily have again. Mains and all the way through to desserts were so delicious and filling. This was the best vegan restaurant experience that we have had since going vegan 7 years ago. The menu was very appropriately priced. It was a Sunday evening so I think a little quieter than a Friday or Saturday which was perfect for enjoying conversation. We will definitely be back, again and again.
The place was a lot smaller than I expected. The staff were knowledgeable.

I love Mythology, and I love the new decor but I do think it's lost its touch for brunch. While I understand vegan food isn't cheap, I still think $22 for two 3 inch latkes and what was basically half a sandwich was too much. I was still hungry afterwards and if that's the case, the restaurant has failed in its job. I think what's worse was it was delicious so I was very much left wanting more. Other party members had cold half cooked "egg" and we were given cold coffee twice in a row. Over all for the $50 plus tip we spent, it was not worth it. Little things that added up to an ok experience and not the amazing one I'm used to when attending.
Love this incarnation of Mythology. Music a bit too loud but overall, great food, service, and space. Check it out.
Food was beautiful and delicious. Atmosphere was sophisticated, soft and modern with perfect lighting. They made Martinis that were not on the menu and they were perfect.
We kept asking ourselves, is this vegan? Sure was. Everything was spectacular and our waiter was very informative and passionate about everything they served.
Want to go back again soon!
I was looking for a spot for dinner for one night in Toronto and came across mythology online. I liked the look so went ahead and booked a reservation. The food, ambiance and decor were all excellent and really made it a great experience.
Our waitress was amazing. Even though the place was busy, it was like we were the only table there, and she made sure we were always taken care of! Great food and service with the ambiance to go with it!
Service was wonderful. Server was attentive, knowledgeable about the wine and food, and we felt well looked after. Wine list was very good. Food was very good, servings quite generous, especially liked the appetizers - calamari, and avocado tuna tartar.
My friend and I had always wanted to visit and decided to go for brunch there before she moved away. Its a beautiful restaurant with lots of nice art.
I had the complete breakfast (with tofu scramble) and my friend had the open croque madame. We ended up sharing each as we wanted to try everything. It was so delicious, we cleaned the plates. The Complete breakfast is better value for money if you want a good feed but both dishes are worth it.
For drinks I got a vodka apple beet cocktail which was so tasty.
The servers were very polite and helpful. I will definitely be going back to try some more of the menu.
The food came out really slow. Took at least 45 minutes. And when the food came the pancakes were burnt and not shaped as a round pancake either. It was mushy as well.
Exceptional food, bursting to the full with flavour. Excellent amuse bouche when we first sat down. Excellent cocktails. Lovely decor and ambience. Service was great and staff were really lovely and accommodating. Only recommendation to bring the whole place to the next level would be to step up the professional of the service staff - but that comes with time and experience.
Most of it was great. The Tuna tartar seemed very salty to one of the two parties. The Mushroom Rav was perfect. The mock Kumquat Jalapeno had all the simple syrup in one place in the drink. The Coo Vin seemed spongy and lacking in flavour. The floors are really slippery. There is one point where the floor dips down when walked upon.
Wonderful, super tasty brunch 🥞 Little bit chilly inside but a beautiful space and excellent service.

Our server was THE BEST. So helpful and knowledgeable with a wonderful attitude. I love the concept and design very much. Menu is inspired and beautiful and the virgin cocktails were amazing! I’d eat here all the time if I lived in the area and can’t wait to go back once I’ve given birth to enjoy the full cocktail menu! Don’t miss the calamari, it’s exceptional!
We were honestly slightly underwhelmed. The garlic aioli on the panisse was not garlicky at all. Just could've had more flavour overall in all the dishes. But that's just our preference maybe! Excellent waiter, but the waitress we sometimes had didn't know the explanations of the dishes, and we couldn't hear her half the time :)
Vegan food at it’s finest! Beautiful for the eye and the stomach.
As good of food as high end places I have been to in Chicago, LA and Miami.
I can’t say enough good things to do this place justice. We missed out on their Sunday brunch and regret it.

I would still recommend Mythology. I have rarely been disappointed there until this weekend. The soy milk for my coffee was curdled, and the latke and seitan in the Croque Monsieur were tasteless. The food was incredibly bland. I would go back for dinner but not so sure about brunch.
