   A little pricey for the portion size (had the hamachi crudo). The taste was excellent. Overall, the food is very different so if you like to try unique dishes, this is the place for you.

   Great food and consistent. This is my 4th time here for lunch, and everything I’ve tried, new and repeat items, have always been excellent. Flavors, combinations of ingredients, and presentation are novel and creative. Highly recommend. I have to try dinner soon.

   Everything we had was delicious. Hamachi sushi, garlic spicy string beans (hoo, spicy!), Cheng's tofu with smoked tomatoes (hubby said it was so easy to make, but it was exquisite!), and Kanpachi (YUM, tastebuds were jumping for joy!) Not cheap, but every bite was an experience!!

   We ordered all of our food at the beginning and asked our server to pace the meal for us. It was a disaster. We were served 6 dishes and paid our check in 45 minutes. If we ever return, we will only order one or two things at a time so we can control the pace and avoid being rushed along.

   We came here for a family brunch. Really liked the industrial space located next to pier. Japanese interpretation to preparation. Ordered 5 dishes to share: custard french toast with lilikoi syrup, shrimp toast benedict, teishoku w/kanpachi kama, mushroom omelet, and the people's choice fried chicken with spicy ahi poke. All of the dishes we ordered were creatively presented, ingredients were fresh and all delicious. The service was excellent. A great experience!

    Anthony and the whole staff went above and beyond to help. Will return to try more menu items. Beef short ribs are HEAVEN. Chawanmushi is delicate and RICH. Great experience start to finish.

    The ambience was great. The service was wonderful---they train their employees very well; was impressed. The food was excellent. Known for its fresh seafood---being right next to the pier and all---all that we ordered was indeed very fresh and delicious. If you like seafood, especially served in an Asian way, you really should try this place out. You'll be impressed.

    A sweet local we met on the beach recommended this restaurant, and it blew our mind. Everything was outstanding. Went for brunch, will be back for dinner next time. The omelet and Japanese breakfast are dishes I will dream about! Highly recommend!!

    Great experience overall! Customer service and food was top notch. Had lots of dishes, we did family style with a party of 4 for brunch. Creative and delicious dishes; Everything was great.     Everything is done through app. Not a fan of whole table has to order through app. Took us awhile to order our food. Then the wait was a little long. No explanation of sauces, had to find someone to explain. So much workers but if we order on app & pay, they should be able to check on table more often. Food was good.

    We had a birthday dinner at Name Kaze and shared all the food. From drinks to sushi and appetizers to main course and desserts, everything was excellent. All dishes had a twist on something familiar like yuzu on the hamachi roll which was stuffed with a lobster mix. Even the simple things like the ulu tots, corn beignets and the bread that came with the butter herb prawns were surprisingly delicious. The desserts were on par with any restaurant in town. Come here if you want perfectly executed, elevated casual food.

    Nami Kaze is one of my favorite restaurants. Everything that I have tried so far is excellent. The food is always fresh, very well presentation and hot; not cold like its been sitting on the counter for awhile. The staff members are very courteous and always checking if the food was alright and inquiring if there is anything else that is needed, and filling water or beverages without being asked. For seniors, the ordering system is a little complex until you get used to the system, as I have double ordered the food items and drinks.

    I came for lunch for the first time here. I was excited as it has been written up extensively. The service was great but the food was surprisingly just ok. I got the People’s Choice and the fried chicken was lukewarm and was a little dry, as someone else has mentioned. It’s as though it was premade and sat around a bit. The potato salad was good. The poke was a little too salty and pretty spicy. While not bad, I’m sorry to say it wasn’t worth the price. Maybe I was an outlier? I doubt I’ll be back since there are so many other good options in Honolulu.

    Awesome service by Ricky. Patient, helpful, informative, and polite. Food was good. Very nice presentation. Soft drink and tea refills complimentary. We were there for a birthday and they accommodated by cutting the cake we brought and served it too. Birthday girl also received complimentary dessert.

    The food was all excellent. Especially loved the Hamachi with ponzu butter. The oysters were perfect. Great cocktails. We sat at the bar and enjoyed Paul’s service. Liked how we could place orders via the app and the food or drinks came quickly. Casual and relaxed vibe, excellent food.

    We enjoyed our stay at this restaurant. We had a private booth and could discuss personal matters without external noise. The service was excellent; however, we waited for our last dish menu. The fusion flavor of the individual dishes made it worth the wait. I recommend this restaurant to those who enjoy Pacific Fusion and the quality of the unique dishes.     Because it was my friend's birthday we wanted to try all the best dishes. We opted for the Honey Walnut Shrimp Waffle and Diner's Choice a mix of potato salad, namasu rice, miso garlic poke and fried chicken. For dessert we had the deconstructed apple pie and lemon meringue. The lemon curd and meringue were exquisite. Locally sourced and expertly prepared food made us very happy and satisfied. Leftovers were great too! Our waiter recommended we try dinner next. Can't wait!
