    Our first time at Nash Bar & Stage. The food is quite good and some of the menu items a bit out of the ordinary. We had the avocado salad and fish tacos, with beignets for dessert -- everything quite fine. Portions are reasonable size, not over-large as in some other places. Our server was friendly and gave good information to first-timers. The 'ambiance' is ordinary; there was some music playing but blessedly it was not loud. We left before the live music started so can't comment on that.

    Way too loud. Deafening. Food was very good. Service not good. Waited a long time for anyone to come to table. We received and finished food before drinks arrived. Not offered dessert or any more drinks, server never checked back if all was ok, had to find server to get the bill. Seemed short handed on staff maybe?

    chicken & waffles - my adult son gave it a 9/10 - lots of taste, good amount of food mac&cheese - i rate 7/10 - Taste was good - portion small Man who greeted us 10/10 Style/music 10/10 Bathroom 10/10 We were there early, before live music started and the only ones there. Wish I noticed the live music at 6pm. Would have been great. Overall glad we went during our trip to Boston.

    Great place to go for live music. There was a bachelorette party so it was a bit rowdy for an early Friday afternoon. Drinks and Nashville hot sliders were delicious!

    Great menu and affordable dining experience. Had a $17 swordfish entree that you would have been happy to twice as much at a premium restaurant. Great salad but missed the live music show. Great place!

    Stopped here before a show at the Wilbur and you can’t beat the convenience— right across the street. The food is all shareable, which was great and honestly a pretty incredible value price wise for Boston. The food was good all around, the cornbread was exceptional. I had the Bulldogger, which was one of the best coconut tequila cocktails I’ve ever had. The ambiance was a bit weird, as it seemed like a lot of open space but all of the occupied tables seated arms length away from each other, which made it a bit difficult to hear across my table. Service was slow, not a real sense of urgency. Overall it was better than I anticipated given the negative reviews. I would come here again for a bite and drinks before a show, but I wouldn’t come into the city and choose this as my ultimate dining choice. Might be interested to visit on a weekend though!

    We were charged for top shell liquor we did not order. We ordered food that never arrived and was on our bill. When we asked them to correct the bill they made a fuss about the liquor claiming we ordered it. Then they brought the corrected checks. We waited for a while waiting for the server to take our check we tried to flag her down several times by this time all the tables had cleared out. I walked up to the bar to hand them the check then they didn’t bring it back for quite some time. Another server came to our table and I asked if we could get our cards back and he yelled at us asking if we could see how crowded it was saying it was so busy and we were rude. He pointed at all us and said we were rude. Needless to say I will not be returning

    The service was very attentive, and the people are nice, but the food was really bad. Really. The ribs were super fatty and the potato salad was swimming in mayonnaise. The only thing that was enjoyable was the cornbread. It’s sad because the restaurant is in a great location for pre-theater dining and if they had better quality food it would really be a popular place.

    We were the only table there, and our server was MIA, our order was messed up and missing items, we were charged for a drink we sent back - and the wait was horrendous. I'd expect this if the place was crowded but there was no one there on a Mothers Day afternoon and now I know why.

    Cat was our waitress, she was great, very friendly & recommended the amazing specials and drinks of the day. It was our first time here they had live music which was awesome. We got a bunch of things to share on the menu like the Mac and cheese, nachos, and burger sliders. 10/10 the food was amazing. I also had strawberry margs which were also really good. I’ll definitely be coming back

    Came for VPR night and it was so fun! Trivia was a blast and we ended up joining in on some dancing downstairs on our way out! Thanks for hosting VPR night, we will be back!

    Server brought our wrong item. We sent it back. Took over 20 minutes to get it correct order while my husband ate his dinner. Was told it was a tapas style restaurant and that it would come out when it was ready. Cancelled my opentable reservation even though we were sitting right there and then they had to reinstate it so I would get my points.

    Went for a birthday dinner with friends. Booked a hightop and was put in the corner at a regular table next to the function room. Food was decent, priced reasonably since it wasn’t the best. The first half hour was decent although once the function room had the guests show up we didn’t see our server often after that since it seemed like he knew the party. Once we got a box for our stuff we waited over 40 minutes to be asked “everything good over here?” With a cleared table and no check. Finally he brought it over after another ten minutes and then waited another ten for a different server to come over and grab it. The party in the function room was ONTOP of us and behavior was rude since they surrounded us, no one from the restaurant said anything to change this and over all was a terrible experience. Could not contact the restraint afterwards and was unable to message on Open Table. They either need different management of servers. Not worth $83.00.

    We had fun sharing the food but it was just ok. I sent back my tasteless drink (which I’ve never done). It was very cold inside because they left the door open. Our waitress was great. The singer was also very good but not Country at all which we found odd.

    Portion size for once in a restaurant was perfect. I would much rather a ‘normal’ meal size serving than a portion big enough for 2+. I don’t want leftovers! Only negative was music was so loud couldn’t talk to others at the table

    Highly recommend the shrimp & grits, the cornbread side dish, and the chicken & waffles (gravy on the side). Service was very good. Went on a quieter day/time on a weekday around 6-7 PM. It was a great pre-Wilbur Theater dinner for us!
