   The full course tasting menu with non-alcohol pairings was outstanding! We tried both the regular and plant based. The food, presentation and service were second to none. Be prepared to pay for the experience. But for real foodies, it’s worth it.

   Dined here on our anniversary and did the plant based tasting at the counter. The experience was amazing watching the beautiful dishes be prepared. I chose a cocktail instead of the paring for the tasting menu. Both the tasting and the cocktail were great! We also enjoyed chatting with our server Shelby.

   Incredible fine dining for vegans! They also easily accommodate for gluten intolerances as well. Many of the dishes were out of this word delicious and provided a wonderful and unique experience.

   The price tag is a bit steep. However the staff were splendid. The food was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. The story and inspiration behind each dish made it even more phenomenal. It kept be full for the six hour flight I took right after.

   2nd time there, 2nd time NatuRe delivered an outstanding f&b experience. Fantastic food, great wine pairing, awesome service. My father mentioned that he did particularly cared for Rosé wine and on one of the pairing they automatically adjusted his wine pairing. It’s the small details that make a difference!

    I really liked this meal, there were some really lovely parts to it. I personally think it's a shame to create a beautiful menu and then add ingredients for an extra charge on it. If you curate a menu, that should be the perfect composition. And I would have thought a dessert should be included. Apart from that the menu was fabulous, delicious rabbit, perfect beef, some sauces were so delicious. I'll definitely go back and do the a la carte and sit at the animated bar rather than in the quieter dining room next time.

    The Tasting Manu was awful: it looked bad and tasted disgusting. On top of that, they put empty wine bottle with MOLD on the bottom (!)as a part of the drinks paring experience! And that was my Birthday Dinner! Avoid this place if you don’t want to ruin your day/evening/night.

    We enjoyed the ala carte dining experience - the pate was a great starter. (The reason we came back to restaurant for second time in one week - first was tasting menu). The meat special was veal steak with a cheese fondue, onions, haricot vertes and fingerling potatoes- which was a great dish to share. We’ll go one more time this week before our holiday is over for the chocolate old fashion!

    Loved the restaurant so much booked it again the same week to try their ala carte menu. The tasting menu and drinks were all very creative. Fun to sit at chef’s counter to watch the magic. Only issue was pacing of food was too fast, we asked them to slow down which seemed to offend the waitress. Jason took over seamlessly so they managed it well. Also some food ie Rabbit could have been hotter but it didn’t impact flavors. The island beef with keiki mushrooms were a favorite

    Enjoyed this place more than orchids. Was more hip. Went for the tasting menu. I didn't do the wine paring because I don't drink much alcohol. Food presentation and taste was excellent. Aesthetics of the restaurant down to the staff uniforms was excellent. Would go again. Server named Annie was a pleasure to talk to.

    This was my 4th time being at this restaurant and the food and the service have been consistently excellent. The Executive Chef Nae and the other chefs are so personable and kind. Our server Sarah was superb! She is not only very knowledgeable about the food and drinks, but she also provided meticulous service. I definitely recommend natuRe Waikiki for a memorable dining experience.

    Coming over for Maui its always nice to dine at different restaurants and this was my first time coming to NatuRe. I enjoyed a couple nice craft cocktails, oysters, prawns & dessert. Prices were fair, service was great, food was yummy and all while close walking distance from my hotel (Alohilani). I shall return on my next trip back to Waikiki.     Beautiful restaurant, amazing food. We were really looking forward to this dinner. The disappointment was in the service. We sat at the bar. The bar tender had friends there who he paid most of his attention to while our wine glass sat empty halfway into our meal. Once food was dropped our server never came back to check in, even after we asked him for more wine. Maybe there was something else going on? Unfortunately what started great, finished less then. When we paid at the end of our meal, we were asked if we needed change. Which was questioning if we wanted to leave a 30%+ tip. Just seemed in poor taste. There were apparently issues with making change, so they should just be a cashless restaurant instead of asking people to leave such large gratuity.

    Nature and it’s staff from top to bottom are a wonderful welcoming family of creative passion. I can’t imagine a trip to Oahu without a trip to Nature. The first time we went a year ago we came in late and they accommodated us in ways I would have understood if they hadn’t. Everything about Nature is incredible and it definitely begins with the staff. May everyone feel the beauty that is Nature on their trip to Waikiki.

    We were looking for somewhere special to celebrate my wife's birthday. As a vegetarian this isn't always easy but we can across natuRe and saw the vegan tasting menu so gave it a go. I am an omnivore but still gave it a go and am so glad that I did. Everything was absolutely amazing, wonderful flavors and creative presentation. I cannot speak too highly of the quality of this experience. My wife had a wine pairing and I had the nature pairing, both were great accompaniments to the respective courses. The evening was finished off with a special desert treat compliments of the restaurant for the occasion. You have to try this place, it's not cheap, but it is worth the money.

    I really wanted to love this place but, unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. I had booked a high-top table in the bar and when we arrived all of the tables were full. After a few minutes of what looked like some confusion, and without any apology, the host asked if we would sit at the bar instead. After we said we'd prefer to have a table, we were told that one party was finishing up dessert and they could move us from the bar to the table when it was free. This was fine with us as we were happy to have a cocktail at the bar first. It was just a bit perplexing why we weren't just offered this option to begin with. Now at the bar, my husband asked the server if they could make an El Diablo. The server turned to ask the bartender who quickly responded "no, I don't think so". Again, with no apology or any reason given for why, the server simply turned back to us and said "no". As promised, they moved us to the table once it was available and there were no additional mishaps. The food was good but, sadly, nothing was outstanding. The space is very cool, and the food presentation was lovely. I wish our experience had been better.

    In the context of Waikiki, this is great spot for a date or a more modern upscale experience which caters towards slightly more affluent 30 to 40-something’s. The staff effort is consistent and in line with other restaurants of this caliber around the West Coast, including even some comparable Michelin star restaurants. The menu is consistent with the marketing/branding, food presentation is well executed, and the vibe on the veranda is intimate with just the right amount of background noise. Again in the context of Waikiki, the food is noticeably different and generally better than other restaurants charging similar prices for a la carte items. Overall, nature has made our recommendation list for reasons noted above and we are likely return. Where this review get subjective, resulting in the provided rating, is when we compare the food in the context of other restaurants catering towards the similar demographic of patrons across various parts of the West Coast. If you’re visiting from a town with a well established restaurant scene, your food expectations may be left unfulfilled. Although menu items are very unique since they offer a very local take on some more traditional items, the flavors and textures just aren’t there. In our case, the pasta noodles weren’t fresh or cooked well. Surprisingly for a restaurant like this they were not made in house. Making these in house is generally easy and would have made a lot of difference in the quality of that dish. The fish was also noticeably overcooked. Although we still enjoyed the dish, the fish was not flaky on the outside, with the inside only retaining a bit of moisture. The cocktails were on point, as was the dessert. Notwithstanding the above subjective notes about the food, we recommend the restaurant and we’ll likely come back.
