Located on Austin’s vibrant South Congress Avenue, Neighborhood Sushi serves high quality sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes in a casual and beautiful setting. Happy hour and-a-half will offer food and beverage specials weekdays 3pm - 5pm throughout the entire restaurant.

Our front door is on the neighborhood facing side, in the Annie Street parking lot. Look for a black-stained door with a white and wood light-box sign. Our host will be waiting inside to welcome you! ADA accessible entry through the Sake Garden on the Congress sidewalk.

Easily the best sushi in Austin, atmosphere is classy but subdued, could be dressed up or down. The nigiri is succulent and varied in selection. Tried the triggerfish on the specialty menu and was delicious, firm and flavorful

This is where we had our first date, we went back last night for our two year anniversary. The food was just as good if not better, the service was friendly, the vibe was great! Love this place it will always be in permanent rotation thanks neighborhood sushi for making our anniversary special!!!

This may be my all time favorite sushi spot! I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. It was truly impossible to pick a favorite dish. The entire staff was amazing! I’d rank it higher than 5 stars if I could!

It's not hard to argue that Neighborhood Sushi is the best restaurant of its kind in the capital city and yes I'm telling you it's better than those other well-known Austin Japanese sushi restaurants. The atmosphere is lovely and makes for a great date spot. The service like all of the restaurants in this group is friendly and attentive. And most importantly, the food is on point. A large variety of morsels of fish atop little mountains of sweet rice. Yum! Fish and other savory ingredients folded into salty, crunchy seaweed sheets like a taco. Outstanding rolls that will make your tongue dance with excitement. The yellowtail tartare with caviar is a flavor bomb of deliciousness...it's pure bliss. What more can be said? Neighborhood Sushi is well deserving of the saying "highly recommended".

We have visited Neighborhood Sushi in several occasions. By far the best Sushi in Austin. Fresh well prepared and very creative cocktails and sushi rolls. Excellent service even for a large group like ours. Definitely invited to return many more times… Anna Pearl, our server, was very attentive, and had great suggestions to try something new. Simply outstanding!

Sushi was phenomenal as always. Their soups are even off the charts delicious! They accommodated our group of seven's chaotic ordering well and food was relatively prompt, but our server was cold and gave me the sense that he felt we were a bit much. He didn't smile and would often send another server over to take our orders if he was "busy." We were simply a happy group of fun people that were excited to get together! I believe we behaved well, in spite of the copious sake that we drank :) I'll definitely be back, but have learned it's a better date night spot than a group spot.

This was our first visit to Neighborhood, Sushi, and we were not disappointed. Everything we ordered was excellent, but the tuna tartare was sublime. It was heaven on a spoon. Our waiter, Nate, was great. He knew the menu thoroughly and could explain every dish to us. We can’t wait to return.

Difficult to find. Door in back where parking lot is. Sign not legible. No sign on the street side which they say is their back. Small portions, high price. Food was good but no different the less expensive sushi restaurants. Nice looking place.

We had lots of Nigiri sushi and it was very good. I also had the egg custard which is very traditional Japanese and not on many menus these days. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. We were able to park in the parking lot - which is super helpful.
