Waiter did not come by to check on us at all. Had he checked, we could have returned our raw sausages. Never refilled coffee (which tasted burnt). Overall an unpleasant experience.

Was quite shocked by the level of (poor) service including order error and having the shift manager not just apologize/fix it but argue I may have ordered the dish incorrectly?? (Was the same dish ordered by another person at the table). Why not just fix it quietly instead of make it a defensive conversation?

The improvise on the food because they ran out of ingredients and it was terrible. The lobsters over cook the rice if it’s sitting on her head out for ages and they still charge us for the food.

I had a very nice evening here but some of the food was just ok. I started with the burrata which was delicious and so well put together with caramelized figs etc. I then had the mussels as my main course and this is where they fell short. The mussels were small, some dried out and three not open at all but the real disappointment was the bowl of fries that accompanied them. While a large portion, they were completely soggy and lukewarm, not a crispy one in the bunch and the gentleman next to me said his were the same. The staff was so welcoming and friendly but the food needs an upgrade. Also lovely setting with the windows open to the street but I was hoping to find better food here than some of the other commercial places in Old Montreal.

Very good food, charming service. I had prosecco before dinner and ordered a second glass of wine to have with dinner. Always appreciative when the wine comes with the entree, as it did here, not trailing behind!

The ambiance was modern, upbeat, and convivial, with attractive furniture and lighting. The staff were welcoming and efficient. Unfortunately, the meal was lackluster: a slab of room-temperature, well-done (overcooked) salmon atop a large bed of very salty rice, along with two spears of salty and undercooked broccoli. Very disappointing.

Perfect for a business lunch. Great area. I had the lobster pasta and my guest had the brussel sprouts salad with chicken. The service is impeccable as always. They even let me stay a bit afterwards to complete my work on my laptop before I head off to my next thing.

The service was not really good … we had to remember ordered all the time because she was forgetting about us . Temperature was very high … we were sweating while eating . We order tartare and that was ok but not much . The server offered a drink for my girlfriend s birthday but it was charged $23 on the bill .. so for that , I can t give more than a generous 3 stars

Waited 2+ hours for our food that never came. Continually blew past servers estimations of when food would be out. Eventually left only paying for our over priced drinks without eating a scrap. Idk what was going on in the kitchen, but figure it out…

Il n’y a plus l’emphase sur les vins natures qui les caractérisait à l’ouverture . Semble que les touristes n’en veulent pas, à ce qu’on m’a expliqué . D’ailleurs tout les employés nous abordent en anglais, ils assument que nous sommes touristes. C’est un resto d’hôtel typique…sans charme, sans caractère. Et c’est cher pour rien.

This was the second time I went to Nelli's for brunch. The first time was great. But the last time was disappointing, the filter coffee I ordered took 40 minutes to get to my table.

The food was just okay and service was horrible. We had to ask for more water and they pretty much forgot about us so it took 30 minutes just to order. There are much better places to eat in Old Montreal.
