The staff really tries hard to be super professional and as perfect as they can get. From the drive in the biking instructor looked professional as the adults with bikes standing to listen… to the young EXCITED bike staff downstairs setting up and taking their time to let us know about the biking opportunities coming real soon! To the smiling staff starting her shift coming up the stairs at 11 to the server who demonstrated professionalism and letting us know he is proudly leading a shadow who was learning from him. The most valuable was the young server who was extremely knowledgeable and when she isn’t sure, she honestly said she isn’t too sure and it was perfect. All in all, great experience.

The location was stunning, with a truly breathtaking view. Unfortunately, all the dining tables were positioned at the back of the restaurant, limiting the guests' ability to fully enjoy the scenery. The service was pleasant, though it seemed the staff were not entirely prepared for our reservation. As for the food, it was a mixed experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the burrata, bacon, and asparagus appetizer, and the sticky toffee pudding was a standout dessert. However, the main courses fell short of expectations. Both the lamb and the steak were excessively fatty, which detracted from the overall meal. The pasta, on the other hand, was well-prepared and enjoyable.

The view is gorgeous if you are fortunate enough to be seated in the large dining room overlooking the hills & trails. My highlight is that after the meal was over we were able to sit outside & enjoy the view. The food was good enough but unremarkable. The service was terrible!! My husband and I travelled a distance for a nice meal with a view. Upon arrival we were told that we could not sit in the dining room with the nice view because there were no tables for 2 in that space. I checked on the space periodically … throughout our entire meal that room was virtually empty. When we we were leaving we saw a couple get seated at a 2 person table where we asked to sit. After being seated in a small room, no view with 1 menu to share between 2 people we were ignored for 15 minutes while 6 staff stood around or walked by us without even making eye contact. (We were the only customers in this small dining room.) Eventually I waved over to the group & asked if someone could please help. A man came over & seemed annoyed, asking us if we knew who our server was. We had not been assigned a server. Eventually our server came to take our order. She was 1 of the staff that had been standing around on her phone while we sat there waiting. She answered my questions about the menu, brought out food & checked on us a couple minutes after serving the food. Then, she disappeared. We spent much of the meal alone in a small room without any other customers. We barely saw staff except when they came into the room to get stuff (glasses, cutlery) & they did not acknowledge us with even a look/smile despite being the only customers there. In the larger room there was 1 table with about 6 guests. They must have been VIP because the staff seemed really tense & devoted to them while ignoring us. It seemed like our presence was inconvenient. An 18% gratuity is required so there is no incentive for good service. If I return it would be for the view & drink only. Food & service disappointing.

The food, service and atmosphere were amazing. It was very warm when we arrived so asked to have the a/c turned on and within 15 minutes, we were more comfortable. We were a little disappointed that the bread and butter were an extra charge but ordered it and were happy with the result. Overall, it’s always a wonderful experience at The Nest. Having been there several times, it never disappoints. A shout out to our waiter from the UK who was amazing !

We chose The Nest to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. The setting is absolutely stunning—calm, scenic, and perfect for a special evening. The salmon was beautifully presented, the ribeye well-cooked, and our server was sweet and attentive. A few areas need improvement: our table wasn't ready despite a quiet dining room, wine was served too warm in water glasses, some small details with the meals, and—most disappointing—our anniversary wasn’t acknowledged at all, despite being noted in the reservation. Small gestures could’ve made a big impact. We still enjoyed our evening and hope to return.

We had a lovely brunch today in the lounge at the Nest. I got the breakfast hash, my mom the brisket and mash, and my sister the omelette. All meals were phenomenal! And great value for what you get. We also had great service - Miguel and Payton were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful space - highly recommend this spot!!
