   The place is lovely and the concept really great. It is an "experience" and as such I am glad I had it. I suppose I should have done my research but I was a bit taken aback with the $60 per person price tag for 10 little sandwiches, cakes and endless tea. The prices are comparable to some great restaurants, such as Ana Lena's but the food definitely was not. It felt like a $30 dollar experience with a $60 ambiance. I was disappointed I could not individually choose the food items but was pleased with the teas. I do not plan on going again or recommending unless they make their prices closer to the quality of the food. Their interior decorating and service was top notch, however

   My mom and I had wonderful time at Neverland Tea Salon. The food was delicious and we loved that we were able to try so many different types of teas. Staff was very knowledgable and helpful.

   It’s a lovely place to go with my daughter for a mommy/daughter date, but the prices make it difficult. I wish there were some cheaper options for high tea. It’s way more food and way more sugar than my kid needs in one sitting. Also, because the food is all prepped in advance, it makes it hard to cater to picky eater taste buds - particularly with the savoury bites. A lovely time, but because of the above the value for money means we won’t likely return any time soon.

   Honestly, the experience was very disappointing. My mother is visiting from Ottawa, and I had booked high tea for us (and a friend) for an early 'Mothers Day' treat. We drove over from Burnaby. My mom was quite looking forward to it, especially since you offer both a gluten and dairy free option. When asked about allergies however; (my mom is allergic to soy), we were informed that every item on the gluten and dairy free as well as the vegetarian options contained soy (both savory and sweet). My mom had to settle for soup and salad (both of which were rather mediocre). I find it hard to believe that every item in the gluten and dairy free option (and the vegetarian options) contain soy. As Soy is one of the top 5 food allergens, I had verified the menu prior to the reservation being made, and the gluten and dairy free option seemed perfect. While I appreciate your caution, I most certainly question the use of soy in ALL the listed items for the gluten, dairy free as well as the vegetarian options. It meant that my mom couldn't enjoy the high tea at all. Moving forward it would be wise for staff to know precisely which items contain soy and which don't - so that the entire menu isn't arbitrarily eliminated.

    The good things about Neverland are that they feature several different high tea menus that cater to patrons with different dietary needs. Their high tea is also reasonably priced, and their service is good. We also appreciated the opportunity to try several teas on their extensive menu. However, it is not a relaxing experience to dine there. The atmosphere is very noisy, tables are close together, and the room is not attractive. Also, you are on the clock--you must be done with your high tea within 1.5 hours. For these reasons I would not return.

    The food was good & presented very well. The atmosphere for afternoon tea was great. The 2 complaints I have are, it was a bit over priced & they rush you out after you have spent a fair amount of money.

    This was the cutest place. Service was great- very attentive. The food selection was perfect. Some food combinations that you would never think of but they worked! Tasty desserts and sandwiches. The never ending tea is flavourful. I definitely plan on going again!

    Our first server was not great. Mediocre service and overall friendliness, and really made us feel rushed, which was a huge bummer on out special occasion. For some reason about 2/3 the way through our visit, another server began to help us, even though the other was around. I didn’t catch her name sadly, but she was excellent! So friendly and kind. She had shoulder length red hair; hopefully you can recognise who I mean. 10/10 she was great. The food was okay, nothing over the top amazing in our opinions. We did really like our tea selections. We were very disappointed that you no longer serve a demi tea. We actually came for that more affordable option and ended up having to order the $50 high tea because that was the most affordable option. Pricey for the quality, but we had a good time. We did feel very rushed having only 90 minutes, so I likely wouldn’t choose this for a special event again. We really had to hurry to finish by 5. Over all it’s a cute place, but has become not really worth it for the quality and time constraints. I’ve had afternoon tea at The Empress in Victoria for only another $30 ($80 pp) and the quality is absolutely stunning, not to mention the historic setting and no time limit (imagine that!), and there is a High Tea downtown Vancouver for $50 that is far more high-end. Step it up Neverland, or at least readjust your pricing!

    Usually waitress would describe each item for high tea, bought friends never been before. We had to guess what everything was. Didn’t get anyone check if wanted more tea until one hour in. Disappointed overall with service.

    This my 3rd time at Neverland - this time to reunite with a former colleague who was in from Manitoba. We were a party of 4 and were lucky enough to experience the Easter High Tea. Neverland never disappoints. The food, the tea, the ambience and the staff are wonderful. I tremendously enjoy each and every visit here and highly recommend it to all my friends.

    Always love coming here. But the level of service we received was poor. Felt constantly rushed and towards the end pushed out even though we're completely aware of the 1.5hr reservation time. Made for a poor experience. Especially from the elderly lady who works there. To bad.

    The food was delicious, the tea never-ending, and the service couldn’t have been better. It was a great voice for my 91-year old mom because there are no stairs and it’s not too big or noisy. We’ll definitely be back!

    Enjoyed a girls day here for my friends bday. The savoury items were SO good. The sweet items in afternoon tea were so refreshing compared to tea time we’ve had elsewhere which was always so sweet. The price was also a lot more fair compared to other afternoon tea places

    This tea house has good service, good waitress Sarah, food is excellent, decor is quaint. The only issue I have was that for the price which was over $100 for two for tea which I knew would be high as everything is these days. But for the money I didn't like being kicked out after an hour and a half.

    What a fun mad hatter theme! The teas were delicious and so nice to be able to try any kind with each pot. Only damper is they remind u of the time 2-3x making me feel rushed even tho it was only an hour into the reservation when they first reminded us. I guess they’re super busy and don’t have buffer times for in-between each slot.

    I love the ritual of high tea, but it is impossible to find a tea house that serves both gluten free and vegan high tea together. Neverland Tea Salon's gluten free and vegan high tea was delicious. I also appreciated being able to try different varieties of tea. If you are a fan of Peter Pan, I highly recommend reserving a seat at this charming tea salon.

    If you can get past the vaguely rude hostess keeping you out until your allotted seating time (thank goodness it wasn't raining when I went!), the actual table servers are stellar.
