    Was a bit of a drive from Bonita to Next Door but well worth the trip, we’ll be back! What a little gem! Dined outside on the patio/walkway to appreciate the water. The quality of dishes ordered had to be some of the best we’ve had in Florida.we started with a farm fresh beet salad followed by Agnolitti with Italian Sausage. The chef was spot on with this dish, the pasta paired with the spicy homemade sausage left us longing for more. The Iberico pork entree was a delight, tender thin slices set atop a silky celeriac purée. We finished our experience with sharing a affogatto from the pastry chef. Creamy, crunchy with the perfect expresso drizzle. These chefs know what they’re doing.!! We can’t forget to mention our server, Nicole who made us feel right at home. Can’t wait to return.

    First visit to Next Door near Westin. Awesome experience. We loved the beet salad, focaccia bread appetizer, veal pasta dish, & pasta sausage dish. Nice touch with complementary pre appetizer tapas and post dinner orange-cello. Manager and staff were excellent. Really nice intimate, casual environment with gourmet food!

    Fantastic dinner. Great atmosphere. Food was amazing with a fabulous menu of different type dishes. Wouldn’t miss it if I was in the area. Chef created a masterful dish with great flavors.

    Wow if I could afford to eat here every day, I probably would. Homemade pasta was amazing - don’t remember what mine was called but it had broccoli and grilled zucchini in a creamy white sauce. Just the right portion too - we were full but not sooo full that we couldn’t eat the fresh baked cookie on the dessert menu! The service was outstanding - bring your $$ because you will want to tip them more than 20%!

    First time Next door although we knew it was going to be amazing as we are regulars at Gathers, it didn’t diss spout at all and Chef John once again delighted are taste buds! Now we’re just gonna have to flip a coin on which restaurant to go to from now On, gathers or next door lol.

    We came in for our 37th anniversary. Our server was excellent. Not sure of her name, but we've had her before and she's awesome! We were in 10-18-23. She was the only one serving. Thanks for a great night!

    Our second visit and again, just wow! This is a small intimate setting with a wonderful menu of carefully crafted fare. Melt in your mouth Waygu Filet, freshly prepared sides, and fantastic service.

    The restaurant is small and intimate. On a rainy night, it felt cozy and warm. The food was absolutely delicious. The chef makes the pasta homemade; my husband had The Carbonara and it was light and flavorful. I had chicken Milanese which was crisp on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. Ii highly recommend this restaurant.

    Food off the charts. Value is outstanding. Anyone staying near the Westin shouldn’t even think about driving anywhere with such a great spot so close. Nicole and the rest of the staff was incredible! Thank you! We will be back.

    A nice place for a casual Italian dinner on the waterside. The cocktails were perfect. The mussels (app) were very good with a good bit of spice. The cioppino was very good with a different sauce than usual - a bit thicker than marinara and tasty. The ricotta gnocchi is yummy - light and delicious. For dessert, the tiramisu was spot on. We will definitely return to this restaurant for more of the homemade goodness!

    The Amuse Bouche was a very nice touch. I enjoyed the Sizzle Menu (for restaurant month). I started with the melon salad (excellent), my husband had the focaccia as appetizer, and we then shared the basil pasta and the Iberian ham (very tender), followed by the cake dessert (a tad dry?). The 2019 e Guigal Saint Joseph at 50% off, was EXCELLENT. Amanda did a great job explaining the options, refilling our waters, ensuring we had everything that we needed, BEFORE we needed it. (Thank you, Amanda.)

    This place is awesome!! Service was above and beyond (Amanda was the best!), dinner was exceptional & the view was gorgeous! The Sunset Ravioli was incredible. Do not miss the Affogato….the entire table was jealous of mine! Fantastic place.

    This is my favorite restaurant in Cape Coral/Ft Myers. From the greeting at the door, to attentive, yet not overbearing service, from amuse bouche to lemon coni, everything is to notch.. The homemade pasta never disappoints, and all of the pasta and seafood is very fresh. Tonight I had the watermelon salad, which was light and refreshing, and the fruit de mare pasta. The saffron cream in the pasta was very flavorful, and the mussels, scallops and shrimp were fresh and each retained their distinctive flavor. I always have to have the cake and ice cream for dessert. The buttercream is not overly sweet, and the cake is always moist, and the ice cream delicious, regardless of what flavor has been baked that day. You cannot go wrong here, and there is something for everyone whether you are a meat eater, or vegetarian. I always look forward to a dinner Next Door!

    We visited on a Thursday night. We arrived 30 minutes early for our reservation but a table was ready. The chef walked around with small tastes. He also spoke to us about the pasta that he makes. It appeared there was only one wait staff or they were being shared with Gather. As different people would come through but there was usually one person trying to handle all tables. Wine service bar service was a little slow for that reason. And then attempting to pay was also delayed because of the lack of staff. Otherwise food was on point with taste and presentation. It is a good date night location.

    Next Door Cape never disappoints! Chef prepares everything with detail in mind. Food is fantastic and fresh - always something interesting. Service is on point and super friendly and comfortable. And the hazelnut dessert is divine!

     I joined Neighbors for dinner next-door and it was a very delightful experience.  Next Door is like a micro bistro. It’s intimate and allows for quiet conversation. The drinks, food and the service are excellent.  I highly recommend.

    They started out by bringing a free little sample of gazpacho to the table, which was a very nice touch, and it was delicious. The food was very good and reasonably priced. At the end of the meal, They brought us a complementary shot of lemon cello, which was also a nice touch and it was delicious, the service was great we will definitely go again
