   A company can work really hard to establish a brand and just the right vibe but if the service fails, it can instantly wipe away all that hard word. Our waitress was just horrible. I don’t blame her, I blame the manager. I asked her if a cocktail on the menu was their version of an old fashion and she said, “I have no idea I hate bourbon.” We watched everyone around us who was seated after us get served before us. And when we were finally served, we had to ask that our food be reheated because it was room temperature. We watcher her chit chat with other employees and we had to interrupt her to check on our order. I hope to visit Nic & Normans again in hopes that she is gone and the staff is better trained.

   We have had dinner there before and the food was excellent and today we tried their brunch which was equally delicious. My tip is try anything that includes the brisket and <3

   We got seated immediately at our booking time. The atmosphere is really cool and relaxing. Everything was super clean. Our waiter was super nice and efficient. The chicken pot pie was recommended by him and we both got it. We were not disappointed! We also got the brisket nachos and they were amazing. Def going back

   They took our 10:00 reservation at even though the kitchen was closing at that time and took care of our party of 6. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and swift. Will absolutely return and recommend.

   Had a reservation for 5 people at 9pm for dinner. We were sat quickly and served promptly. The food was okay, but nothing special. Most of us found the food to be under seasoned. Wouldn't go back.

   We didn't know this was a Norman Reedus & Greg Nicotero restaurant so when we arrived it was really cool to see TWD pictures etc. Everything about this place is great with the exception of the burgers and sidewinder fries. 2of us had Greg's Choice and the other the Pimento Cheese/Bacon burger. The patties were decent but it was the lack of cheese and toppings that made them not real good. Very skimpy would be my opinion. The fries could be crisper and hotter. They have a great menu so maybe we just ordered the wrong items. Kind of disappointing. Service and drinks were excellent

    Ate here before a UK game. Great location and walking distance to Rupp. The Mexican Burger and Sweet Potato fries were great. We also had a bbq flatbread that was good too.

    This restaurant has tremendous value for being in downtown Lexington. I got the pork shank and it was such a great deal. Highly recommend if you’re traveling under a budget.

    Overall, it was ok. Our server was very nice. We ordered the brisket nachos as an app, and they were pretty good. My wife ordered the Buffalo chicken Flatbread, and we both liked it. I ordered the lamb burger med-rare with fries. It was cooked to temp, but it was absolutely bland. Which was a shame because on paper it looked great. With feta, arugula, and tzatziki sauce, it should have been full of great flavors, not to mention the lamb, but it fell way short. I did let the server know it just lacked flavor. When she brought the bill, she let us know the manager had removed the burger(which wasn't my intention). She said it's their policy that they have to inform management when someone doesn't like a menu item and that he was in a lenient mood that night. 😄 The biggest issue was the room. It was a very slow night, but tables remained unbussed and dirty, as if the customers had only stepped away for a bit but would return angry if something had been removed. There are a lot of good-looking items on the menu, and I would probably give the place another shot, but there's too many other great restaurants in Lexington, for that visit to happen in the near future.

    Had reservations, had to still wait 15 min for a table. Drink service took a long time….had our food by the time my cocktail arrived. The food (bbq burger and Mac n cheese) was subpar at best. We won’t be back…..

    The un-bun burger was a great size and tasty, but the messy toppings need to be on top of the burger. There was no way to eat that the way it was served. The sweet potato fries were awesome, but it would have nice to have some kind of cinnamon butter or dip other than ketchup. The Cajun corn needs to go back to the drawing board and my friend’s biscuit for her chicken pot pie was overcooked. The atmosphere is very cool and the service was great. We’ll definitely be back, but will probably try something different.

    First timer to this establishment, was in town for business and decided to try it out! The restaurant ambience has the look and feel of a typical Tavern type bar scene, nothing fancy. But the food presentation, taste and smell is what's makes this place, I ordered the Mexican Burger and when it arrived, it was juice, good size burger and flavor was fantastic, different would go back again when in the area.

    Food was overcooked. We sat back in an area walled off from the rest of the restaurant. Couldn’t even see the bar area. Waitress was very nice but had no clue about the menu. Staff needs further training on how to receive and accommodate guests.

    Food was really disappointing and drinks were not good. Steak medallions were tough, over cooked and disappointing. This was our second visit, but we won’t go back. Our Service was decent, but I heard people behind us really frustrated with their service. Our waiter struggled a bit and food seemed to take a long time. Simple burger might have been a better choice at a place like this. Not a win unfortunately :(

    Beef medallions were tough. Lava cake was dry .. no lava. Rest of the food was delicious especially the chicken in the signature sauce. Our waiter Luke did a wonderful job. Made our dinning experience enjoyable. We will return in the future.

    We spent 10 minutes waiting for anyone to bring us water and menus and than 60 full minutes for a burger and side salad, a chicken sandwich and side salad and a side salad with a bowl of chili. One of the salads came out with topping that was specifically asked to be omitted due to an allergy and no one came over to check so I just didn’t eat it. After an hour and 45 minutes we just needed to get back to work so we just paid the bill and left. We won’t go out of our way to go back.
