   The ambiance is lovely, and the food was delicious. I’ve always wanted to try this restaurant, and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s much brighter and prettier inside than I expected.

   We went to see where our Grandson works and hospitality, atmosphere, service, food and everything about our dining experience was over the top!!! I have been recommending to all ever since and will definitely go back!

   I really like this place, especially for business lunches. Solid and consistent in every category. Food is delicious, ambience is lovely, not too loud, and attentive staff. Why not 5 stars? It's not over the top in any of the categories, but very good. A solid 4.7

   Ordered an omelet , and it , and everything else on the plate, was the saltiest thing I’ve ever tasted ! Could not eat . Waitress was very kind to get something else for me . Beware of all the salt !

   I always enjoy dining here for brunch, so I wanted to try out their dinner. It was very, very good! Service was great and atmosphere was quiet and calm. I will definitely be back for dinner.

    NIce Matin is an excellent take on a typical Parisian restaurant/cafe, but without the attitude, which is a good thing. The service is excellent and at a NY pace, not rushed, but paced to suit your observed interest in either taking your time or getting back "on the road". Food arrived hot and well plated, with a nice mix of salads/veggies to go with your main course. Overall a very pleasant way to spend a lunch and/or dinner with friends.

    Nice evening with good food. We were outside so the noise level was low. Food excellent and enjoyed by all. Only wish the delivery bikes weren't quite so ambitiouss.

    We had a lovely evening at Nice Matin. We greatly appreciated the welcoming waitstaff and delicious food. The Lamb Shank over Polenta and the chocolate Soufflé were our special favorites!

    A fine choice for pre- Beacon Theatre dining. Southern French with pretty decor, good service and excellent food. Stands out in a sea of mediocrity in the area. My sea bass special was excellent as was my wife's duck and her soup special appetizer. My tuna tartare could have used a little more tuna and a little less guac but the taste was fine. Lovely apple tart to finish.

    For a reunion with our niece and grandniece, Nice Matin was the obvious choice. It did not disappoint (it never does). Highlights: escargots (3 of us got ‘em, all of us loved them on an interesting herbal preparation without garlic or perno, and in very generous portions); a pasta special (stuffed agnolotti in a nice broth); steak frites ( the steak is a good size, but not huge, cooked exactly as requested), and the frites are purely Parisian). The service is impeccable (James the waiters, Lisa the manager, the friendly and obliging servers) and finally the room has a genuine French vibe. We come here often and are always delighted.

    We had brunch with a family of 7. We sat at a round table which was great. Restaurant has lovely ambiance, really nicely decorated and plenty of space from other tables so we could talk. Food (omelets and shakshuka) was tasty and good, but our only complaint is that didn’t come out hot. Coffee was meh. They served all plates at the same time, very professional. Our waitress was a doll. Very attentive service from the moment we walked in. This place was a treat and we’d definitely go back.

    Great food. Great Service, Great selection. I was surprised by the level of service from an entire team of servers that worked together to create a seamless experience. The food was prepared with care tasted as good as it looked. This is a classy place that cares about the entire customer experience.

    Nice Matin is a classic UWS gem. I love dining there. It is perfect for solo meals, with friends, or a romantic date. Their wines are superb and I love the chicken paillard. 10 out of 10!

    The breakfast only gets better and better. The American breakfast includes coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice (fantastic!), good potatoes and meats or beautifully smoked salmon which is perfect with the crusty whole grain bread. Service is charming and efficient, and the whole operation is managed so well that your needs are anticipated (more coffee?) before you can even think of flagging a waitress or bus person. At the price, it’s a steal.
