    Dinner was fabulous. Starting with Destiny our waitress and ending with Anita the Assistant GM coming over to say hi and thank you for coming in. Everything in between was 5 star with the Ribeye special being off the charts!

    It was my first time at Nick & G's and it did not disappoint! We sat in the bar area and they had live music which gave it a fun and festive vibe. The cocktails were great, the food was delicious (the portions generous) and the service was top notch (Paige was our server). We will be back for sure!

    Our waitress was attentive without hovering and assisted in pacing our dinner so we could enjoy a leisurely anniversary celebration. The calamari appetizer was more than plenty for us both and VERY tasty. My husband and I both ordered the filet, which was prepared perfectly. Live music and a the fireplace added to the ambience. I highly recommend Nick & G's for date night, celebration. or just a lovely evening!

    We took an out of town guest to dinner with live music. The food and cocktail choices were excellent. Our server was timely and attentive. He ensured that our guest’s allergy was managed appropriately and she was excited to be able to enjoy her dinner choice without the nuts. The music was also a nice addition to a special night.

    The food was excellent, and the ambience nice. I was annoyed with how the server tried to upsell everything from the wine to the bread to the desert. Also tried to upsell the water. I would like to go to a restaurant and relax and not feel like I’m trying to be sold.

    I had the lamb popsicles which were great and my wife had fish and chips. The fish was grouper and that was very good. The chips were standard so nothing special there. I also had the bread pudding which was very good. The prices are high which you would expect considering we were in Rancho Santa Fe.

    We enjoyed our dinner very much. The meal was excellent and the service was more than we could have asked for. Our only difficulty was that we sat next to a large group that came in after us. There were at least twelve people in their party. My husband has trouble hearing and that ended our ability to have a onversation I did not notice the large table sertting before we sat down. If I had noticed, I would have asked for a table away from the large group. The restaurant was quite empty when we arrived and we could have chosen a quieter spot. This is not a criticism but an observation on my part. I will be more observant in the future. Thank you to your staff for a wonderful meal.     Not our best experience here. Food is always delicious along with their specialty drinks and recommendations. Service was slow and for whatever reason parties who were seated 30 minutes after us were served their meals and able to request the check before we were able to order our main course.

    What a lovely evening at Nick & G’s. I flew out from Dallas to celebrate my Mom’s 95th birthday. So happy I found Nick & G’s. The food was amazing, the ambiance beautiful, the service impeccable! Highly recommend if you’re looking for fine dining! My Mom loved it!

    My Wife and I loved dining at this restaurant we were in the area for seven days on vacation so thankfully we dined at Nick & G’s on the first night we loved it so much we reserved a table for a few days later before we left the Area to go home to Scotland

    We had a wonderful evening in a corner booth where many staff members came over to check on us. The waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and carefully noted our dietary restrictions. The food was incredible and beautifully presented. We will come back to try other dishes and definitely recommend Nick & G's to our friends. Thank you for a memorable evening.     This is our favorite place. The best ambiance and most amazing staff you will ever find. We highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great experience.
