They stayed late for us due to our party arriving late, and we truly appreciate that we were not rushed out. The food was FANTASTIC, brussel sprouts and braised beef that I ordered were delicious. Despite the construction happening around it, they still delivered5 star service and food.

I ordered the $99 4 ounce waygu steak, and literally half of it was fat. Thankfully the manager adjusted my bill and I was grateful. Nonetheless it was very disappointing.

My lifelong friend an I had dinner at Nick and Stef’s before a concert at the Garden. Our waiter was fabulous. Informative, helpful and efficient. We both had steak, the New York Strip steak and the Rib-eye steak. The food was excellent! I highly recommend giving Nick and Stef’s a try!

For a bill that was over $350 it was mediocre at best! Had the maple coated bacon as appetizer. Tasted like cured hamsteak with a maple glaze - did not have bacon flavor at all - portion was plentiful though and it was tasty but not bacon! Caesar salad was small but okay. 1 NY strip steak was just thrown in the center of this huge dish. Not appetizing and lightly seasoned - No grill or char marks but it was tender and okay. Filet mignon was nothing to write home about and def a bit over cooked and dry - thank god for the complimentary sauce (beef gravy) that added some flavor to it. Best mashed potatoes of my life! Seriously if they could get everything else this good it would be a 10 out of 10! Asparagus fair and blah! Key lime pie for dessert very tasty and good coffee! Fair dinner, drinks house wine average price for NY just okay. Sorry to say I wouldn’t go back. And PS your cramped in at a table that’s meant for 4 and they separate the twos and you can barely get up in between and we heard the couples entire conversation on the right and to the left. That alone is a reason we’d never go back! Server was excellent, knowledgeable and sweet! They didn’t rush us.

We sat at a pub table at the bar and were completely ignored. The waiter brought us the wrong drinks and then had attitude to fix them. Food was ok but way overpriced for the portions. We went before an event at MSG but will never do this again as I have never seen such a bad attitude in a NY steak place.

We had the most wonderful time at Nick & Stefs. Michelle, our server was knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure. She helped with any and all questions we had and my mom sure had a-lot. We will absolutely be back. The food was delicious as were the drinks.

Very loud restaurant. Table of 6 basically yelling during their conversation. One drink spilled on table and one drink was made incorrectly. Food was ok. Probably not going back.

Nick and Stef's Steakhouse in New York impressed me with great service and delicious steak. The place feels fancy but cozy. Steaks were cooked perfectly, and the sides were tasty too. It's a bit pricey, but worth it for a special meal.

The food and service were great. We noticed the customers are few considering it was a Friday lunch time and at this location (near to perfect public transportation and midtown Manhattan) . I assumed the construction around the restaurant made it hard to be seen and made the impact. Hoping the restaurant can survive and the construction can complete any faster.

The prix fixe lunch menu price was affordable. We enjoyed the steak 🥩 and wine 🍷 very much. Restaurant chef personally greeted us, and later on inquired if we enjoyed our meal. We recognized our waiter from previous visits, and he was very gracious as well. I had a lovely time catching up with my girlfriend. There was no noise level whatsoever to distract us.

We had a 6pm reservations with expectations to be out by 7:15 for a 7:30 show at MSG. When we got there they said they would seat us at 6, then at 6 said sorry there is nothing available...say what? We had reservations. Finally get seated 6:40 (after much prodding and watching others with later reservations getting sat), get food 7:10, inhale food, pay and run out at 7:25. They offer us free drinks to compensate...which we had 1! But really, we are 3 of 4 sober that night, so what, you can't comp us our 2 bottles of seltzer? Not good, really not good. However food as always is yum! Everything else BOO!

The food was great. The waitress was pleasant and did her job properly, as did the hostess. The location near Madison Square Garden and Penn Station is perfect. My only pet peeve is the same as with most restaurants; the bus staff came to clear the table before everyone was finished with their meals. I stopped them, and the waitress immediately came over to apologize. That is good customer service.
