noise level was appalling, hardly energetic! deafening. cannot have a conversation. when i siad i had asked for a quiet tbale, we were routed to a second room, but it was as if they hadn't read the reequest. and the table was minsicule. not wide anough for a meal. good food but not for a special dinner. had requested quiet table for a big birthday. no acknowledgement of this being a birthday at any time during our stay.

Always exceptional, I hadn’t been since the Gastown location was open, and Nicli has not missed a beat; innovating and somehow making their signature meatballs and Diavola pizza BETTER!! This is the rebirth of the best sit-down pizza in Vancouver for me, I can’t wait to be back for another Hugo Spritz :)

We liked the space , the food & drinks. Our initial server was not knowledgeable about the drinks, wine or food and kind of ambivalent about us as guests of the restaurant for the first time and very intermittent / inconsistent w the service. The person who took over was better , more engaged and personal , more helpful and finished us off w a better feeling. These things make a difference to the whole experience. We will return, nice place

We had an excellent server… I may not spell it right… Flo. Your pizza is mostly crust, very little cheese and toppings very sparse. That makes for a very pricey pizza. Your salads on the other hand are delicious.

Honestly, it was truly outstanding. Our French server was lovely, attentive, a pro! Food was delicious across all courses. We were so pleasantly surprised. Had forgotten about Nicli Edgemont. Walked in to a packed and lively space. 5 of us left happy, and each commented on our drive home how excellent our night was…and again the next morning. We’ll be back for sure.

Unfortunately I just feel more and more disappointed with the pizza ... my last visit the pizza was quite soggy and drenched with oil and this time my crust was burnt and pizza was completely bland.
