Nicli of old is back! I was very disappointed at soft opening so did not return until now. Yesterday, all back to our expectations. I will be back to try drinks… did not feel like drinking before noon!

We enjoyed a lovely meal with two delicious thin crust pizzas made with fresh ingredients and two salads, along with housemaid meatballs and focaccia bread. The food was delicious and we had very prompt service, and we enjoyed the variety of classic music in the restaurant. There was a lovely selection of cocktails and wine. The gelato was also excellent. We look forward to our next visit.

It is absolutely mind boggling how bad the service is at this restaurant. The staff were disorderly and unorganized, nothing is written down. It took us 30 minutes to get the wine we ordered, that is after we flagged down a server and reminded them it never came. The customers next to us had to cancel part of there order because the staff forgot to bring it.

Bright, modern Italian-style pizzeria in the heart of Wesbrook Village. Authentic, delicious pizza crust and mozzarella. We had the Norma (with eggplant), and the eggplant was disappointing: a bit soggy and lacking in flavour. Good wine and drink selection will please a range of people. Service was somewhat inattentive and slow, but friendly enough. Overall, a pleasant dinner experience.

The food quality is as good and delicious as it was in their location in downtown, but sadly prepared without love and care! The servers are like walking ghost who have been deprived of vital energy and enthusiasm. Price wise is rather in the upend of the spectrum without offering the pleasant and vibrant/welcoming atmosphere that similar Italian places have. I truly hope the owners address the human component of this place and turn it into the great Pizzeria that was the one that they used to have in downtown!

We had a 7pm reservation for inside. Very excited to try the new place. Asked twice if we’d sit outside b/c our table wasn’t ready. NBD, We waited and were seated at a two top by the window. The space is modern-looking, yet tight. We surveyed the room keenly as we waited patiently for a server and a menu. 15 min later we finally had someone approach and ask if we were ready to order? Um, no. We’d probably need a menu to do that. Grabbed a beer and a wine, perused the menu and ordered the Cacio e pepe and a margherita pizza. Now the fun starts! My pasta came out fast (it’s not a hard preparation)yet the pizza was nowhere to be found, obviously. The crazy thing was that my pasta was only just barely warm. Seems weird for something that came out so fast. Ok, we wait for a couple of minutes hopeful that the pizza would follow. No chance, b/c you can’t make a pizza in 5 minutes. I send the pasta back. It’s cold and I don’t want to eat dinner while my wife waits for a pizza. Finally the pie shows up in the time you’d think for a pie to cook in a busy restaurant. Server said there was a mixup and food will be out at same time. Great! The pizza Looks the part and smells great! Now, we are waiting on my pasta. I’m thinking, sweet! They probably re-cooked it and the cold pasta dish is a thing of the past! Well, we wait for a few minutes and the dish comes to the table. I’m excited to eat and enjoy dinner with my partner! Except now my poor pasta dish has been sitting, presumably, under a heat lamp or possibly in a microwave. It’s still lukewarm at best and you can tell that the cheese on and in the dish has cooled and been reheated. The kicker to all this is that this was store bought spaghetti and most certainly not “homemade”. See my pic if you are inclined to believe otherwise. The pizza was fine. To be honest-it was never going to taste all that great after the experience that we were having. Do I wish them luck in their new location?Absolutely!Will we return? Doubtful.

Pizza is excellent. Outstanding texture of the dough. Enough topping as well. The Pizza is not too filling and you feel comfortable when finished. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The 1st time I ate there, everything was great. The second time there were a few issues. We waited 20 minutes for our salad to arrive and when it did, the lettuce in the salad was not fresh. Some of the leaves were slimy and brown. Also, we had ordered the bacon on the side, but it came in the salad. The pizza was delicious Absolutely, no complaints about the pizza. We were given a free pizza to take home. Our waiter was efficient and friendly. The atmosphere is great and we enjoyed sitting on the patio.

Great to see Nicli Antica open up this beautiful space at Wesbrook. The restaurant is bright and modern with a semi-private patio area. The staff were polite and attentive and happy to chat about the food. The crust is pizza perfection and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. The gluten-free option was praised by my partner as they best she have ever had. (Would love to see what they could do with more seafood on the menu). Still the best pizza in town!

Really enjoyed the cocktail there. Authentic pizza and pasta. Our six months old baby was very content during the stay with their nice eminence. They also provided high chair. Comfortable seating for us as well. We had a good time.

Love the pizza. Excellent Neapolitan (Naples) style crust, great selection of toppings. My partner avoids wheat so we're very happy there's a gluten-free option for her. Live in the neighbourhood and used to go to Nicli's downtown location all the time and was very sad when it closed down during the pandemic. Thrilled it's opened a new location right across the street from where I live. We'll be regular diners there for sure.

It’s new, second day open, so we need to cut them some slack. The menu was limited - two starters - three salads $18 ea - three pastas - and five pizzas $23 to $27 for a 14 inch - only one gelato flavour. No drinks menu yet - house red, house white, four beers, some mixed drinks. It looks promising once they get settled. Space is tight and you get conversations from other tables. “Can I check your hat?” would help with the guys that wear their ball caps or bucket hats at the table while they eat. One salad, olives starter, Two pizzas, one pasta, three beers and one Negroni with a tip was $210 for three people. Pizzas seemed about $5 over priced for the size and toppings. Service was good and attentive. Will go again and likely see improvement
